This is part 2 of my TV stand build. In this video I’m making the drawer for the TV stand. I’ll be making the drawer with hand cut dovetail joints and will be using the David Barron dovetail guide to make the cuts. This is my first attempt at cutting dovetails by hand. I’m making the drawer box using 1/2” baltic birch plywood. Considering plywood is not the best choice of wood to use for your first attempt at cutting dovetails I believe it came out rather well. With this being my first time, I did have to do a bit of tweaking with a file for the dovetails to fit, but this was an excellent learning experience and I should (hopefully) do better next time.

Thank you, I am pleased with the outcome. One advise, when you do, don't use plywood. Using plywood was NOT the best choice for a first time. Thanks for watching.
