    @6:40 You are so real about this Body Positive Business that my roommate subscribes to. They have conventions about celebrating being overweight. And I hear about the Plus-size movement as if it's a political movement. If I try to educate her about healthy foods she gets mad. Her doctor recently told her to exercise and eat healthier and she still refuses to create change.

    • @ms.sharon.7581

      She’s not ready yet, and there is nothing you can say to convince her, it’s a very sensitive subject especially for us ladies. Eventually she will get tired of being fat, and not wearing the different outfits. She will remember what you did, I have been there. She will probably ask you “ Why didn’t you tell me, or show me pics of how fat I was”?

  • @adsa3449

    I ask myself the same question so many times . I like to think of myself as having a strong mind. My work ethic is very high and I like to test my mental fortitude with cold showers and exercise. Nonetheless, I am still slightly obese because of my poor food choices , and I constantly tell myself that this body that I have does not match my mind and personality. I have started logging all of my calories and I’m slowly losing the fat, it’s a great feeling when you show up for yourself and show yourself that you deserve a better body. Keep grinding and trust the process , slow and steady 🙂

    That’s awesome, I feel him when he said “this is not me” I’ve done Keto in the pass went from 240 too 190, in about 3 months, sadly I fell of and gained it all back plus more, I recently restarted it again after 2 years of not eating clean, I’m determined to stick to it this time, but instead of hitting the Gym every day I decided to wait till I hit a Plato then bring on the cardio and weights, for now I walk a lot and intermittently fasting with the Keto.

    • @Whitewavewoman
      @Whitewavewoman 3 роки тому +1

      Keto is a trap. Diets are a trap. The reason you gained more weight than before is bc your body is afraid to go into starvation mode again. Do you think diets are truly sustainable? Intuitive eating is the way to go along with joyful movement. Keto is a quick fix. It’s like being in a relationship with a person you think is the one. In the beginning it’s passionate and everything is perfect until the person starts to lose interest and even becomes mean then y’all break up and the heartache is so bad. That’s what diets are like to me.

    Bro this is motivation to me. I once weighed 402 pounds and I went on a weight loss journey where I got down to 338. My goal was 300 but I fell short because I just stopped. I'm back up to 370 and I know it's time to get back on track and achieve that 300 pound goal. I did most of my weight loss with intermittent fasting. I'm an over the road trucker and honestly I lack discipline. But I saw the results when I locked in and focused on what I was trying to do. December is my birthday month. My goal is to hit or pass that 300 pound mark by then. Thanks to both of you guys for this interview

"Like a Powerful Spirit" just consumed my mind like crazy on pushing myself & checking weight regularly, Prep my meals & still eat out once a week avoided certain foods Especially "Sugars"! 6 months from 240 / 235 to 198 Currently & still working out !! Keto is a trap. Diets are a trap. The reason you gain more weight than before is bc the body is afraid to go into starvation mode again. Also Plateau is your body literally trying not to die. Do you think diets are truly sustainable? Intuitive eating is the way to go along with joyful movement. Keto (and all diets) is a quick fix. It’s like being in a relationship with a person you think is the one. In the beginning it’s passionate and everything is “perfect” until the person starts to lose interest and even becomes mean then y’all break up and the heartache is so bad. That’s what diets are like to me. Our bodies know what they need and what weight it needs to be on to feel healthy. It’s called SET POINT WEIGHT. Sustainability and truly listening to your BODY is key for long term health. Yo yo dieting is very dangerous. Also binge eating is a DIRECT result of restriction aka starvation. It has NOTHING to do with Will power. I wish someone told all of this to me before I was extreme dieting.
