Absolutely amazing! And I haven’t done the second beating. I used my kitchen aid (only 5-6 minutes on low with an ice bowl underneath) with the whisk setting, added some salt, vanilla and a little honey (not very much). It’s so light and creamy!
If you want butter pecan then go ahead and put some butter in your ice cream. 2 or 3 tbs of butter is a real game changer. I used my Kohl’s cash and that was enough to get my Cuisinart ice cream machine half off. I did get the smallest size ice cream machine that full price is $79.00 so half off isn’t too bad a price.
I like the videi, and i am going to make it, but thats not what salt does to ice. Salt lowers the melting temp of ice, making it melt FASTER, this actually helps it cool down the ice cream by facilitating the faster absorbition of heat/energy from the ice cream. Not a critique just a fun fact about ice and salt
I've been making this for a few weeks and no one has gotten sick, I make a double batch bc it's so delicious and my husband loves it! I also add lmnt packets to get a fruity flavor- raspberry salt is the best so far! Oh, I don't use any protein powder either.
You really don‘t know what you are doing, like You only just started cooking? Why didn‘t you taste the ice cream before You put it in the freezer and then added some more sweetener???
FYI some companies started feeding their chickens marigold flowers specifically to fool people about the color. This can turn yellow yolks orange.
oh wow, thanks for that info! I did not know that!
I put my bowl and beaters in the freezer for an hour before whipping cream and eggs. Then you don't have to use salt and ice. Works perfectly😊
Great tip! Brilliant
I will need to try that tip. Never made keto ice cream before. Looks yummy.
You're really pleasent to watch and funny 😂 thank you for a great recipe❤
Haaaaaa, glad you like it! Just being me and screwing up every recipe, haaaa! Stay tuned for keto cheesecake!!!

Well, I learn something every day and you just taught me that little fact! Thank you! Let me know how you like the ice cream!
Where do you buy the heavy cream? Whole Foods?
I get it a Fruitful Yields
It's a small farm in Iowa, where do you live by?
@@KendraVonEsh Aurora ☺️
You can get kalona organic brand from Sprouts
Any grocery store has heavy cream next to the half and half
@graftme3168 yeah, but it is ultra pasteurized, the stuff I use is low pasteurized much better for you...or raw, which I don't have by me.
What about vanilla extract?
Yes, I said at the end I should have put that in! 😲🤪
This carnivore ice cream recipe is a game-changer! Who knew you could satisfy a sweet tooth on a carnivore diet? 🍨
Did you add any sweetener? If not, still sweet, right?
@@KendraVonEsh absolutely, I didn’t feel I needed any sweetner
@@KendraVonEsh I didn't need to add sweetners, I'm used to not having sweetness in my diet :)
Pasture raised chickens are given chicken feed and scraps to supplement their diet to create eggs every day.
Yes, BUT let's face it, not the biggest part of their diet
Birds are the only barn yard animal that should eat grain.
Thats why I buy Pasture raised and organic. I spend alot on eggs but Its the best I can do
Is it safe to eat raw eggs yolks???
As long as they're from a good source it won't harm you
There is always a risk, but it's worth it! 🤪
Salmonella bacteria cannot survive under 40 degrees F (4 degrees C) so raw egg in ice cream is perfectly safe
I hope so as much as I love my egg yolks runny 🤣😂🤣

Also, website very difficult to navigate.
Oh noooooo, I am so sorry, I need to reach out to them! Did u order some?
@@KendraVonEsh I was going to but I wanted the discount. Do they have a phone or email?
Hmmmm, search Equip I think they offer 15 for first order, you reminded me to go look
I always taste test as I go. Helps the taste of the end product.
You know, I actually did taste it, but when it got cold, for some reason wasn't as sweet! Ugh....
Look great! 🎉🎉🎉

I did tastecit and to be honest, it did taste sweet enough! It is the first ice cream I made, and we all learn.
Do you watch me? I am totally me, feel free to move on to other podcasts if you don't like me.
@@KendraVonEshi will, i just wanted to help you
@josipajakovljevic9313 might want to re-read your first sentence, that wasn't helpful.
Vanilla flavoring?
I used vanilla protein powder and I should have put in vanilla extract.
