Its a real real shame that he, or his great granddad William Cobb didnt play a bigger part in this story. I just think what a missed oppurtunity it is to have Dick fighting Cobb, or even the other 3 knights taking on Dick potentially
Alfred mentions how when Bruce first began investigating the Court of Owls he thought it was a fairy tale, but literally in like the last mission or so he talks about how he had no idea Bruce was investigating them before he died…

Yeah, the belfry scenes are all over the place. One minute Tim is seeing the big picture no one else can see, the next he is an emotional wreck for no reason.
The scenes at night are atleast in character, but geez louise these belfry scenes man

I’m loving how the fucking Court is handled in Gotham Knights, we really need them in Batman related video games more often.

You don't have to reach the ground, you can immediately open your traversal ability. And what stops me from thinking the drone remains in the sky so he can grapple to it? What about Arkham, where every grapple swing was in the sky?
There's a pretty good difference between feral zombie... And someone who came back from the dead 2 years later as a masked killer.

@@moshymosh Pretty sure that was a thing in prior depictions of the Court of Owls, particularly when the Talons are involved, so it’s really more of a reference.
Of course, the thing I remember the most is the abridged movie when Batman realises the resurrected corpses are not “people” so he can kill them as much as he wants.
And the arkham writing did not give away it's story right away either right?

i have mixed feelings about this game, love the plot with the court of owl and stuff but then when you get into the gameplay itself, it doesn't really grasp that feeling you get when playing the arkham knight series, idk it might just be me but I am conflicted about the game

I'm not very savvy on the Court of Owls, but aren't they formed with some members of the founding/richest families of Gotham City? The Cobblepot, Wayne, Kane, Elliot, and I always forget the fifth one.
Jeez, I don't like Talia at all. She's onto something. My guess (so far) is she wants what the Court is digging to revive Bruce as her personal mindless zombie and rule over the League + do whatever she wants with Gotham.
The fifth of the five founding families of Gotham were the Arkhams. Of course, Batman fans know of Arkham Asylum.
This game should have unlocked the heroic traversal options from the start. Grapple leapfrogging all over town looks so boring.

I love how they have laid down the storyline for uncovering the history and coded goings-on of the Court of Owls, similar to how Batman did in the comics. It was probably the 13th floor that Nightwing entered at Gotham Gazette, or if not, a carefully hidden addendum to the Court's influence in the news. The number 13 has always been lucky for me, but Alan Wayne (superstitious architectural expert) would have words with me about the "unoccupied" 13th floors of many major Gotham buildings. Batman uncovered some pretty harrowing/pertinent things hiding in them in the comics, so I hope that there will be a mission that takes us there.

From what I heard, those traversal abilities unlock at a set point in the story, right? Unless he already went past that point...

This Talons act and feels like monsters, instead of trained assassins.
Hoping they patch the dropdown animation. Instead of dropping down you immediately jump across the room. Kinda sucks when playing stealth. Can't even have the snap in the corner feature.
This was bothering me too. Turns out it was because I was either pressing × or ○ when all you have to do is push forward on your LS for a second.
they've already gotten your money and with how unpolished the game is, I doubt any major patches are coming.

These Talons look incredibly tiresome to fight against. Seems like you have exactly three moves to fight against them.
Nah, you just have to hit them with a Heavy Ranged Attack to stun them and then you can hit them with whatever you want. Their heavy attack flurry is pretty quick tho so sometimes you'll be able to dodge the first two hits and get hit by the third because you didn't land fast enough after dodging the second hit

Got to admit, I haven’t even played the game and just from watching its so freaking obvious who the Voice is, like it’s not even a mystery. I won’t say in case of spoilers of course but I felt like they shouldn’t have made it so clear. That’s my opinion though!

Water did, sparked by their own boss. And they were never alive again anyways. IIRC, even in the comics batman realized they were not any kind of alive.

Darn I was hoping you used Jason again!!!
Loving the game so far but I defintely have two nitpicks:
1. I hate the anime speed lines when characters are moving really fast. It's... well, it's ridiculous.
2. Everyone aside from Jason seem to be very... weightless when travelling. Heck, there are times when even Jason seems like it. Okay, I understand that, say, Dick is the most acrobatic, but he does like 100ft jumps in a single bound without support. He's good, but he's not superhuman; none of them are...well, except maybe for Jason given the whole Lazarus thing.
Actually, now that I think about it, even in combat, it seems like everyone punches with no force. I get the Talons being able to take a beating, but even regular thugs need like 50 hits to the head before going down.

I'm really not a big fan of the way traversal works in this game, there is no way a human being can jump so high/far from building to building and not to mention the grappling gun just seems a bit too weird when using it over far distances... I think they should have stuck to just parkour and a more realistic grapple distance... Or is it just me?
In the Arkham games before it the grappling just looked and functioned better . The way it’s done here is kinda janky but it’s still similar
Yeah, I don't really like how there's so little background music while traversing, the jumps are too high, the animations stiff and the characters pause in the air when they use the grapple... it kinda ruins the atmosphere.

At the very least, the "heroic traversal" options for the characters should have been unlocked from the start.

You know, Hood had a bio analyzer hidden in the eyes of his mask. He could have scanned the Voice. And figured out his true name.
Am I the only one that hates the grapple?
It doesn’t seem like anyone has their own set of gadgets. Seeing a zip line or some explosive gel would’ve been cool. And the “glide” feature for the cast outside of batgirl 🤢

Just gonna say that I HATE Talia al Ghul, I have ALWAYS hated that character. She is always so cagey and cocky and constantly manipulating Batman and his allies.
The game is honestly disappointing

I just bought it a few days ago, and I'm having a really fun time with it. It's flawed, sure, but I'm not disappointed at all. It's a Batman Family light RPG that has nothing to do with the Arkham series. People's expectations were through the roof, and that is on them. It's a good game.
