If you don't find this game good, then do play Batman: Arkham Knight. It has an amazing story, very good graphics and the combat system is just fire 🔥. I also have high hopes for this one. Let's see what happens.
the Arkham knight is a completely new character in a way, the name Arkham knight was made by rocksteady he's never been referenced in any other media. His suit was made by rocksteady the Arkham knight was a made up "character" but then ended up being Jason under the hood leading up to his DLC for the Arkham episodes.
arkham and spiderman should be the benchmark for these types of games. not sure this is even in the same stratosphere as those games from what’s been shown, but ill give it a shot while keeping an open mind.

Professor pyg is not a basic villain. He is literally Gotham's most horrific serial killer for years. Sure, Victor Zsazz has the highest streak, but Prof Pyg mutilates his victims. Prof Pyg has been in Batman comics off and on for years.
Origins was good to me. Its sucks that it didn't get updated with the other games. I liked the little tweaks they did to the combat when it came to the "counter the counter". And it had the boss fights were better than all of the Rocksteady games. And the hotel sequence was too damn good!
Super stoaked for the game. My expectations arent sky high but still exited to dive into a new Gotham. Also, jason will now forever be called Panckake man in my mind... (ihop)
If Bruce Wayne is "Dead", It also doesn't mean he will stay that way. He could either have faked his death or could be resurrected by things like the Lasiurus pit similar to how Jason Todd was resurrected or how Alfred was resurrected in the injustice universe.
9:07 is there a 5th character coming in DLC? I mean it’s presumptuous to think that, but the framing of this leads me to spectate we aren’t getting the full picture
Gotta love the double out. As an editor it strikes me funny whenever I hear you do it. I know my job that wouldn't fly, but UA-camrs you get a pass from everyone because folks don't take you as serious as real networks... even though I know you put in the same amount of work. Anywho, thanks for the preview, I too have been sort of itching for a new "Arkham" game.
They should've make this part of the ArkhamVerse. I think it would make this even better. Just recently replayed Arkham Knight and I felt emotional when Batman say his goodbye to Nightwing. Imagine 4 of them having different reasons to step up not just because bruce died and have different stories converge into one because of a bigger threat (court of owls). For example, Nightwing trying to live up to his mentor and maybe convincing Red Hood to join the Gotham Knights. Red Hood making up to what he's done and to honor Bruce, Robin as Red Robin investigating the Court of Owls and Batgirl returns after what she suffered in AK.
No, Pyg isn't just a goon. He was in Arkham Knight too. He's the opera singin foo' who wanted to make everyone "bEaUtIfUl". In the comics he's just as disturbing
This game does not warrant re-mortgaging the house to buy a Next Gen Console for "slightly" better effects. If Batgirl was BBW.. maybe, but not in its currant state.
There’s a lot of great sounding ideas in this game. And I hope as a whole it’s a solid fun Batman Themes Game. However I really hope we get a new Batman game that’s not Arkham Related except for its combat and stealth… I’d love a new Batman game that follows a younger Batman learning how to become Batman, similar to Origins (which I love and think it gets overlooked and unfairly shit on a lot), but just better overall in every aspect.
Did anybody else go from “this games reminds me of the Avengers game and it looks kinda of slow and dumbed down version of the Arkham games” to “It actually looks like what I wanted an Avengers game to be, the story has a lot of potential and the open world looks very interesting “?
Been considering this recently. Thanks for the info. Surprisingly the main deal breaker might be the lack of local co-op. I have a friend who has been interested in the game and no doubt would have enjoyed a co-op playthrough but with the next-gen situation being what it is, only one of us has the required console to play. Plus the footage I've seen on other channels makes the combat look... Well kind of sloppy. I thought Montreal did a pretty good job matching the feel of the other Arkham games with Origins but this almost looks like it has more in common with DC Universe Online.

Upgrades via the beyond batsuit. So much potential.
While watching this, I got a 10 minute ad which was literally just clips from Transformers Prime, and I watched the entire thing 😄 More ads like that please ahahaha
Never played a Batman game. I might give this one a try, thanks Falcon for going into exactly the right amount of detail
👍🏼
@@gameranxTV Before you buy already planned?
If you don't find this game good, then do play Batman: Arkham Knight.
It has an amazing story, very good graphics and the combat system is just fire 🔥.
I also have high hopes for this one. Let's see what happens.
Give any of the Arkham games a shot best Batman games ever 🔥
Just play the arkham series, it is probably better than this, at least gameplay wise (story is great too)
the Arkham knight is a completely new character in a way, the name Arkham knight was made by rocksteady he's never been referenced in any other media. His suit was made by rocksteady the Arkham knight was a made up "character" but then ended up being Jason under the hood leading up to his DLC for the Arkham episodes.
They really should have hyped it more I can’t wait to play it
arkham and spiderman should be the benchmark for these types of games. not sure this is even in the same stratosphere as those games from what’s been shown, but ill give it a shot while keeping an open mind.
I was honestly hoping for a continuation of Arkham Knight because that would mean we get the knightfall batsuit
It's its own seperate game
@@cerebralassassin2185 I know I was saying if it were a continuation
@@thesoul_in_callisscyth6051 ah ok. My bad. I read it as I am rather instead of I was. Sorry about that if i aeemed rude
@@cerebralassassin2185 No worries
suicide squad takes place after arkham knight that's the game you want this is a separate game
11:35 - literally 2 days later, a week before release they announce to their discord server that consoles will only be at 30fps only because someone managed to get an early physical copy and leaked that it was locked at 30fps
Professor Pyg was in Arkham knight as a boss, after you complete all of the detective missions with the hanging bodies with the opera music.
I know i was honestly shocked he didn’t know who he was(he was probably joking though) professor pyg was one of the saddest and scariest villains to me during Arkham knight
@@crusader1081 ye I found it quite creepy too tbh but I loved doing the crime scene investigations they were cool to find when you’re just flying about
The fact that there’s no local co op shows the mindset behind this game
I'm really excited for this game and I can't wait to see more of it. Hopefully, the game will be more refined than the demo.🤩
I hope so!
It won’t! Developer confirmed on twitter the game is capped at 30fps with no options to go higher whatsoever. This is an exclusively next gen game with 30fps freaking ridiculous
@@RisingKnight64 Ok and? Just because it’ll be locked at 30fps doesn’t mean it’ll automatically be horrible
@@FireFist5000 for people that can stand to look at it sure! For people like me who it gives a horrible headache to look at 30fps along with making me feel nauseous it is a big deal. Lol I mean some people don’t care but there’s enough that do to where it’s a problem
All the bad talk around this game proves why I don’t pay attention to what people say about games before I play them some people just want to hate everything it’s a good fun game to play which is more than I can say for most games today and keeps me interested to play unlike most that burn me out not long into them
I can’t wait for this game
👌👍🏼
@@gameranxTV Spam everywhere the same shit 👌🏼👍🏼
Professor pyg is not a basic villain.
He is literally Gotham's most horrific serial killer for years. Sure, Victor Zsazz has the highest streak, but Prof Pyg mutilates his victims.
Prof Pyg has been in Batman comics off and on for years.
Game looks dope from the previews. I can’t wait to explore the new Gotham City 🥶
👍🏼
Every game looks good in the preview 💔
Its EMPTY
Origins was good to me. Its sucks that it didn't get updated with the other games. I liked the little tweaks they did to the combat when it came to the "counter the counter". And it had the boss fights were better than all of the Rocksteady games. And the hotel sequence was too damn good!
Me and my friends are really excited to play this together!! It looks like it's going to be an awesome time solo and duo!
Fingers crossed!
30fps for multiplayer single 60fps for current gen 💀
Great video, Falcon! Love the way you break things down, got my hyped for this game!!! Can’t wait! 🎉
Looks good. Admittedly I forgot this game was even coming out until now due to little to no marketing so many thanks for reminding me 👍
Combat looks meh
its a tradition to watch gameranx before the game releases to check if i'd like it lol
Hey love your videos !!
Thanks for watching
The bombshell before release is the no 60fps announcement. Very cool
11:36 the bombshell is it will be 30fps on console. surprise!!!
The atmosphere of asylum and city is pretty hard to beat
Super stoaked for the game. My expectations arent sky high but still exited to dive into a new Gotham.
Also, jason will now forever be called Panckake man in my mind... (ihop)
👍🏼
If Bruce Wayne is "Dead", It also doesn't mean he will stay that way. He could either have faked his death or could be resurrected by things like the Lasiurus pit similar to how Jason Todd was resurrected or how Alfred was resurrected in the injustice universe.
I want a thundercats game!!
9:07 is there a 5th character coming in DLC? I mean it’s presumptuous to think that, but the framing of this leads me to spectate we aren’t getting the full picture
1:36 - Thumbs up for the classic salt reference by Mr. Baldino.
12:16 "Right here on Gameranx, Right here on Gameranx"
Pyg isn't a random goon... he's one of batman's villains, he had a whole side mission in one of the Arkham games
Also, the *"Counter"* maneuver has been removed. you have to evade and then attack.
pre ordered and ready, been waiting for a batfamily game for over a decade
No, Pyg isn't just a goon. He was in Arkham Knight too. He's the opera singin foo' who wanted to make everyone "bEaUtIfUl". In the comics he's just as disturbing
How does this guy not know that lol
This game does not warrant re-mortgaging the house to buy a Next Gen Console for "slightly" better effects. If Batgirl was BBW.. maybe, but not in its currant state.
30fps is all you knew to know
Game is caped stop 30fps without any graphical improvements….
I'll admit, it was on the edge for this but im liking everything i see
There’s a lot of great sounding ideas in this game.
I thought Montreal did a pretty good job matching the feel of the other Arkham games with Origins but this almost looks like it has more in common with DC Universe Online.
this isnt an arkham game, people need to understand that.
Professor Pyg was in arkham knight come on Gameranx, he's also in the comics
Shame it's going to be 30FPS on consoles
This looks very solid. Just hope there is sufficient variation in gameplay.
I’ve got extremely mixed feelings about this one but regardless I’m excited
To anyone who is planning to get this game on consoles: It's restricted only to 30 fps. No performance mode whatsoever.
