Not gonna lie, I really wish Bruce had different comments for each character, besides each individual fear. It made a lot of sense for Jason's self-hate and doubts to manifest as Batman calling him reckless, cannon fodder, etc, but I don't think it really fits the others, at all. Also, love how Jason (arguably the most damaged of the four) is the only one still lucid enough to call out everything as bullshit, and reaffirm himself.
Most of the story itself seems better fit for Jason. Thematically with the League and Lazarus Pit, the final boss, this hallucination sequence. It almost feels like the other characters were forced in. Jason is also the only one who's interaction with Jacob is different in that instead of punching like everyone else he headbutts him.
It would have been a lot more interesting if they showed Jason’s death and Babs’ paralysis incident. Idk why the devs were apparently banned from even saying the name ‘Joker’, I get that it’s good to let other villains have their moment but he’s an integral part of all these characters’ history and motivations.
I think for Jason that might have been a bit…much. And also in current days it’s killing people that really haunts him. When he killed some kids dad he started breaking down. Killing Bruce? That’s hard. And Barbra doesn’t care about being paralyzed anymore. Seeing as how she seriously cares about her dad

Regular helmets don’t protect you from gasses IIRC especially if it’s made from breathable material with small air holes, only filtered gas masks protect you from harmful substances in the air, simply wearing a full faced helmet won’t protect you from them. This version of Red hood must not wear a protective gas mask implemented helmet or anything so…
I played this scene as Jason and I was curious as to what the others' fears would be, but I'm still glad that I chose him. This labyrinth was pissing me off until I realized I was making it hard on myself. Took me a good 25 minutes before I realized what I was doing wrong. Primarily with the spinning blades. 😂
People really need to take their time with this game. Instead of bulldozing your way through it so fast. Take your time and take it all in. It didn't take me too long to figure this labyrinth out.
Iirc their death *prevented* Dick from becoming Talon. The Grayson lineage historically had a child taken to become a Talon, but Dick's parents' deaths lead him to be adopted by Bruce instead
For some reason I expected more of red hood fears like show us what happened to him when getting beaten and tortured by joker and getting dunked into the lazurus pit
They didn't want to mention the Joker that much in this game. Makes sense cause he's already the main focal point of SO MANY Batman plots. Plus pretty much all of Jason's story cutscenes throughout the game, and any interaction he has with Talia are all based on his revival and the Lazarus Pit.
I'm surprised that Barbara's memory wasn't Joker paralyzing her. I get that focusing on her dad may have fit better to the overall theme of the game's story better. But on the other hand, I feel like what Joker did during the Killing Joke is a bit more visceral. Not only was her bodily autonomy completely robbed of her, but it was arguably robbed of her long term to a certain extent. She was completely helpless when she was shot, and still vulnerable when wheelchair bound. Throwing in negative comments from her father was really good. But mixing that in with the Killing Joke traumas would've made it go from good to heartbreaking. Jason's was really great though.
Could the owl masks replacing the Graysons' bodies be a reference to them being connected to the Court like in the Court of Owls run? Or am I just reading too much into this?

Huh I did this with Nightwing and you got different scenes with him then I did. That means that every single person's experience is different even with the same character. That's both cool and kinda sad that we can't replay it to get those other scenes. I mean without going through the game every time
Fear toxin is a well known aspect of the Batman canon. Hell, Scarecrow's entire MO revolves around making people hallucinate. Mad Hatter too. So making it a common theme in the games isn't that farfetched, even when those two characters aren't the focus.

No they're still more, They go through about 2 different more puzzles before fighting a guy like brushed it in the comics and then that fight the talon and use that to escape. SPOILERS. The entire labyrinth spoiler is just a bunch of fear toxins rooms being moved around

This labyrinth is no we’re near what it was like in the comic, this is such a watered down version of the court of owls that it is painful, please to the people who haven’t seen the comic go read that if you want to see the true court of owls this game doesn’t do enough justice to them.

So her not being able to fight crime traditionally would've made it look like Batgirl disappeared. She couldn't be there physically, and her role/abilities as Oracle limited her in what she could do in that situation.

Tim’s dad isn’t dead in this continuity. It seems like this story is following the New 52 continuity. There’s a conversation between Alfred and Tim in the belfry where Alfred tells him he should call his dad. Barbara was shot, we know she was Oracle and we can see her spine stimulator under her shirt when you’re in the belfry, just like in new 52- and Jason has a picture of him and New 52 Arsenal, and also receives emails from Roy talking about him and Kori in the game. For what it’s worth, Jim dying is far more traumatic in the long run than Barbara being temporarily paralyzed, and while Jason did die- I think showing Jason as a vengeful monster, beating Bruce to death with a crowbar is just as impactful because that is an evident fear Jason has in both the game and in the comics.
Imagine playing this mission as Batman I haven’t played the game so I shouldn’t judge, but I feel like you could’ve played as the Gotham nights and Batman without killing him off you still could’ve picked the Gotham, Knights and Batman if you wanted to. Also, I’ve seen the ending he died again. Oh my God I thought it was going to be multiple-choice like he either lives and you rehabilitate him as Batman or you kill him because he’s too far gone
@@jb3058 I didn't buy that game (it's repetitive and the price is to high), I played with a friend on PS5 and I don't have the will to finish that boring mess. My friend is still playing and like it enough to finish it. We both found the story bad with a great starting point. The gameplay is the worse, it feels like playing a beta version of Spider-man. I didn't like Arkham Knight (because of the Batmobile sections) but I would replay it instead of Gotham Knights. Both games have predictable stories and dialogs but Arkham Knight gameplay is way better.

With Tim's 'special scene', it's the little details that make it better. Like it took me months to notice the words that are written on the walls.

I didn't like Arkham Knight (because of the Batmobile sections) but I would replay it instead of Gotham Knights. Both games have predictable stories and dialogs but Arkham Knight gameplay is way better.
This is such a downgrade from the Arkham series…
