Hey Shaun, Any chance you could do a video on double ups and how to hit them, and/or a video on what speed should be the best for each type of rider.

Hey Shaun! Since you did your Low Speed High Reward vid on the backrolls I've been taking one Low Speed set the last few times I've been out to just work on fundamentals and some new tricks! I redialled my HS back 1s and started working on and landing TS back 1s. I feel my full speed riding has benefited so much from just doing this a couple of times! Such a good idea.

When I was working ski patrol Saturday the low was negative 6 in Maine. Sick vid. Can’t wait to get back out on the water. A wicked birthday present would be to meet you. Let’s make that happen when he can get a chance.

Sweet, love these achievable videos! I'm an old boy who has just got into it and now I'm obsessed. Seen you Ollie over the rope in one of your vids. Would love some pointers on those. Hope they are low impact riding fun. Just started trying wake to wake tantrums and injured my foot. Am ready to get back on the board but after some low impact stuff till I'm fully fit. Peter, good question on the Line Over, that's the trick where I jump over the rope. Honestly, it's kinda tricky and a little risky bc there is potential to get caught up in the rope. So of all the instructionals I put out there, probably not going to do that one bc I don't want to see anyone get hurt.
Regarding the Low Impact riding fun....

I’m 51 and started wakeboarding last summer.
I’ve been able to jump wake to wake heel and toe side by mid summer
I’ve watched your videos and now can come up sideways, ali 180 and grab my board this spring. Sending love to you bro.
Btw, I just bought another hyperlite SM with team boots and love it. I was used to 140cm but bought your board at 150cm. I’m 6’3” 205lbs.
My question is how far apart should my feet be? I feel I cut out sometimes.
    Thanks Shaun…

Love the feedback Jac and great progression! With your height I’d put you in the middle inserts and angled 12-15 degrees outward on each binding.

Hey Shaun. Love the videos. Recently got a board. Sadly I’m in Iowa and we have a foot of snow on the ground so will be awhile before I can give it a shot.
Any chance you can do a updated video for new riders on how to get up and get comfortable? Also is there a big difference between riding behind a stern drive vs a actual wake boat? I don’t have a tower either.
Keep up the great content, you help winter go by just a bit faster.

    • @Shaun.Murray
      @Shaun.Murray  3 роки тому +2

      Medic 404-
Thanks for the comment! New board? I'm pumped for you! Wake boats are ideal because they are designed specifically for the sport. But really, what matters most is getting out there and trying. Stern drive with no tower, you can still have a blast and build all your foundations for wakeboarding.
Here's some good videos for starting out as a new rider:

@@Shaun.Murray first board actually. It’s a ronix that someone had laying around.
Also would love a video of how to pull a wakeboarder, would be a new thing and trying to find videos of that is difficult. Would like the wife to watch before she tries to pull me around. Haha.
Keep up the great work. That stuff you can do absolutely blows my mind.

Hey Shaun, I know it’s a basic maneuver but I am just starting to get into wake boarding so I was wondering how you switch your stance (change from goofy to regular foot) like I see you do a lot after landing an jump without digging the board into the water and falling forward. I’m assuming it has to do with keeping more weight in the back foot?

Me: Shaun Murray looks uncomfortable doing switch toeside backside 360s.
Also me: I can barely do a normal toeside wake to wake jump.

(then there's an echo in the arena like this "ENNY OLMGREN - OLMGREN - GREN - REN - EN" echos are hard to type)
