So happy to see Paul and Alec return to form😂
No lol
whats the name of music you used in thsi video
Oh course not! Nature is full of mysteries, but a yugioh player that can read? Impossible!
5:13 :D :D :D
"Is power creep real or a myth?"
That ending line got me good lmao
The Duelus Degeneratus is more of a mental fighter than a meta one.
😂😂😂
So what I'm hearing in this documentary is that, in addition to my normal playmats, I should carry around an NSFW playmat should I ever need to scare off wild, hostile Yu-Gi-Oh players. Got it.
This was so funny, out of everyone Larry stole the show especially the ending 😂. Can't wait for the next skit.

5:05 😂😂😂😂😂 😮
4:53🤣
Loved this entire wild life episode gotta keep my eyes out for these out in the wild. Larry took the show at the end with the big ol eyes and tongue hilarious
Making this sequel was so much fun! Have you guys seen any of these types of players at locals?
I think the Magic community has a very high percentage of Duelus Iratus. They might be an invasive species, crossing over into Yugioh from the other game. A hazard caused from their shared LGS habitat.
I personally used to be a duelus tempus magus and people were so unsuspecting of how bad and out of date my strategies and cards were I once won with a magical cylinder because people simply didn't account for my ancient trap cards and other assortment of back row cards
A Deulus Degeneratus recently appeared out of a dark corner at our locals. It approached our table with a grin on its face that would make the Joker proud. Within seconds our table looked like a scene from a Doujin. There was more skin on his mat than a Lizzo photoshoot. NSFW took one look at it and said " Oh HELL no" Mothers, usually hiding out of sight in the back, came running in and scooped up confused minors before running for the exits. After a few minutes of stunned silence, broken only by the hiss of a highly restrained fart, the Degeneratus simply looked up from the table and said "What?" Chaos ensued and I am forbidden to say what happened to the mat.....but it too was like a scene from a Doujin.
I've seen at least one Venturas Capitalus at several different events, but thankfully my LGS prohibits any Duelist Degeneratus or Iratus from participating in events. I myself am a Jackus of all Tradus, enjoying the likes of MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, and Vanguard. (The last two I don't play as much, but Vanguard will always be my favorite)
Bot😂
Duelus Iratus brings to mind a story from a friend, where a guy at a tournament (MTG?) was so infuriated by eitehr a misplay or ruling that he threw his deck at the wall and stormed out
To this day, we still call it the Wall Shuffle
(Apprently folk gathered up the guys deck and left it with the judges where he came back later all sullen-like to collect it later, but it may or may not have lost a few choice cards along the way, which is a risk when performing a Wall Shuffle)
Based Trell chugging all that Baja Blast
Larry’s reactions to the playmats was the best!! 😛😛
I need more of these Yugioh documentary skits. This was amazing!
This skit is an instant classic 🔥🔥
This is my favorite YGO skit yet, perfect amount of self-awareness, self-roast and self-reflection, with exquisite acting and narrative performance, bravo, guys! Thumbs up and shared!!
Larry's expressions throughout the video were amazing especially 5:13
Can confirm, I'm a Duelus Tempus Magus from 2014. Hieratics are still good right?
As a tempus magus from 2005, I have no idea
@@Louie_Log Oh hey, Blue-Eyes got new support. It's called Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon. You'll love it.
YO a fellow Hieratics player. Respect. I came back to the game 2 years ago after not playing since the DM days. I play Horus/Hieratics engine. Its all about otk'ing or bust for me XD. It does not win vs moderm decks but once every 10 games. 10% win rate lets go!!!
Am one I still refuse to play modern yugioh. I will play cards like pot of greed and graceful charity against modern meta players
@@Yomi2012 we have house rules at home. No syncs, xyz, links, pendulum, no forbidden cards beside that.
Y'all need to respect the Duelus Degenerates for being a card shop giga Chad that can duel with the power of God, anime and the support of his wife by his side.
Liked for being a good joke
The Venturas Capitalus:
We had one of those, lol. Dude would literally set up shop inside the shop and sell specific cards. Doesn't play the game, but does know the rules and worth of every card. Ours always sat in the same corner for hours on end, either making deals or just observing the store. Very chill dude and wouldn't actually rip you off, but he would stand his ground and say that all prices are firm and that he was not there to haggle. He was willing to trade, if the value of the trade was high enough, but he preferred to sell. He was also willing to buy, but only very specific cards from a list he carried with him at all times. If the card you wanted to sell wasn't on his list, he didn't want it.
I remember he was most popular when new sets came out, since that's when the meta got shaken up the most and cards that weren't valuable before now might be and everyone wanted the hot new stuff from the new sets. I'm also pretty sure he cut some kind of deal with the store owner, since I saw them talking in private quite often, but I can't be sure about that last part.
I know one duelus degeneratus. He came to a mtg evenings with lewd playmats and got banned from that game shop. Nowdays, that game shop is dead, but duels degeneratus persists and still plays at other shops. Gotta admire that guy's fortitude.
DUELUS DEGENERATUS: "It's called Hentai and its art" 🤣🤣🤣
Duelus limbus: an uncommon species of duelists that comprises largely of players from the days if the GOAT format or more recently players that got burned out by pendulum and links that no longer play the game, but often can be seen enjoying various content made about it, and entertain thoughts of returning fully to the game, but never truly do.
Basically me.
As a Yugioh player that does not play Unchained, Tear, or Floo, I am not an apex predator.
but you still have your soul
@@vileluca not if he vanquished it 😏
@@vileluca Sadly, it was sent to the Shadow Realm.
@@SakuraAvalon Better than given up in a deal with the devil
@@vileluca Considering the Shadow Realm functions like Hell, is it really?
Clever tactic by the Duelus Degeneratus. Distracting their victim before striking.
Larry’s expressions are so funny 💀
"Apex Predator or an Invasive specie" was sooo goood
Dont forget crazy black guy yugioh player that makes anime noises back in 2014
If you know you know..
He never be forgotten
Oh, and BTW, power creep IS real, but its real causes are unknown. Many say Konami, others say it's the players, some more obscure, unpopular theory even say it's caused by the cards themselves, with their evergrowing Hearth. I hope team APS will really shed light on that debate.
the reason is simply capitalism
Just getting back into YGO recently and this short series has me questioning who I might be at locals 😭
Won't lie, I like the Duelus Degeneratus. I'm a pretty jaded person where little phases me so I get joy out of seeing everyone's reactions. It's like when someone smells a silent-but-deadly or when.a shopping kart is about to hit a car. You just gotta watch the chaos unfold 🤣😂🤣😂
Even better than the first, and educative too! I was totally unaware of the existence of the Duelus Degenerates sub-species. Thanks team APS!
This might be you guys' Magnum Opus. The acting was CRAZY good. Trell needs to be in someone's movie and Larry stuffing the money into Paul's shirt was hysterical.
Don't forget Duelus Migratus, easily recognizable by their call that sounds like "This game sucks, I'm done with Yugioh" and their return a couple of weeks later. Or the pungent Duelus Repulsus and the odor they evolved to ward off others of the Duelus species.
That was hilarious, just like the first part! 😂 The calm music and the documentary narrator tone was just spot on! Keep it up with the amazing skits, guys! 💜
Larry at the end looking at the play mats had me chocking on my drink. That was so funny!
I would definitely consider myself a Jackus of all Tradus. I delve into as many TCG's as possible because I enjoy playing TCG's. I do make a note to keep my games separate when I am attending locals to avoid mixing up my games. While I haven't accidentally challenged someone to yugioh with an MTG deck, better be safe then sorry.
Ahh I've missed these skits. This was well written and executed, loved it :)
Larry cracks me up the facial expressions are great 😂😂😂❤
LOOL Larry's face @ 5:05 👀
EDIT: and again at 5:14 LMAO
You forgot to get footage of the rarest species of players that some think are a myth.
"Duelus AniMangas"
This duelist is known for only following the anime/manga play styles, has extensive knowledge of the show and perfers to play using cards that were shown in the anime or played by certain characters, they also tend to dress up as said character and in some special cases play music from the anime to immerse themselves into the role.
They typically gather in conventions where they can explore in wider open spaces compared to other Duelus species.
I absolutely love the gag with the older player confused between link cards and ritual cards at 2:16
The last tournament I ever bothered with (2012) I encountered an Alpha Duelus Iratus, I had it locked down with a control deck, and they tried to call slow play on me when I kept passing turn when they couldnt do anything. when it was judged as not slow play, he flipped the table and got dragged out by security.
Where are my fellow Duelus Degeneratus at?
The idea of a Time Wizard whipping out full power Zoo and FTK'ing with Galaxy Wave is absolutely hilarious
A comedy master piece of the first days of Team APS now in the modern era. I am surprised there was no sighting of any Tempus Duelus or Speed Duel Player but we do tend to stick to our own territory or disguise ourselves at card shops so we don't get the unwanted attention that the Mastus Duelus gets when they say the words "Max C".
You missed one...the going second Chad. This duelist takes a nap while their opponent combos off for 30 minutes before finally getting to play. They usually start by dropping a lava golem followed by a numeron network and killing their opponents in less than 10 seconds...good game
Great editing and script, really hit that documentary style.
The first Yugioh players in the wild is my favourite Team APS video. This is just as brilliant!!
I have tempers but I don't feel salty for losing. I only get annoyed if my opponent just drags on the game for no reason other than to waste time and burning through timer. And when they don't follow the rule and think they can do whatever they want when that wasn't even how the cards work. I usually don't allow people to take back moves and I don't think of taking mine back either tbf. But I do understand losing can be painful especially if you spent lot of time and money building your deck
That last guy lewded the Familiar Charmers on his mat didn't he?
2:27 destroyed me 😂 but overall great skit! TeamAPS is a Yu gi oh legend and don't you ever forget that.
Great video as always, I actually expected to see a Rulus Sharkus and Tryed Hardus to have an interaction in this sequel lol
Deulus intimatatus is an Apex predator of the duelist kingdom. They often encourage other players to move a little faster or slower with their plays through facial expressions and hand move movements. Slowus playus and deulus combus are powerless against them and can't make any plans for victory.
I think you forgot duelus archtypus. A duelist who swears loyalty to a single archetype despite age or viability. They are often seen trying to crossbreed their archetype with new cards to form a unique orgasm capable of surviving current metas.
3:22 this part reminds me of Half Baked when Snoop swoops in for the blunt😂
Love the vid! Team APS thank you for making these Yu-Gi-Oh vids I love them!
I'm the last duelist to some degree. While having lewd sleeves, playmats, and deck boxes, they're just collection and trade value. I don't use them in actual games.
I love the videos done in this documentary style!
Bruh that tongue at the end had me on the floor 😂. Another great video fellas!
I have been waiting for this for so long thank you so much team aps
Ran into a dude that had unsleeved yugioh cards playing early 2000s yugioh. He said he hates all the xyz, synchro, links etc. I tried using my weakest deck so he could stand some chance but my weakest was a upgraded dark magician deck
Alright! I’ve been waiting for this sequel! Loved it! ❤
Ooh a part 2 to this! I love it.
I love these new skits, very informative and funny!
This was super informational! I now know my players! Thanks!
I thought that video needed a part 2. Glad to finally see it.
Lol! Literally got out my cards recently and entered my deck into the neuron app. Off to my left, my near mint foil Graceful Charity is sitting face up on top of my deck, and as soon as you got to the time wizard player I about spit my drink.
The line about yugioh players being in all card shops is funny to me as our card shop doesn't do yugioh. It does magic
Amazing video as always c:
This was awesome 😂!!! Thanks for the video!
Too funny. Loved it. Keep up the great work.
Great job guys, these are always funny.
Great job, this is a docu series I'd watch on National Geagraphic
I remember this idea from an older skit! Instantly an amazing video in my opinion!!!
Duelist Irratus!!! I faced one in a locals, he seemed cool at first, and when we got paired up, he threw a fit when 1 hand trap one me the game.
I am without a doubt a Duelus Tempus Magus. I grew up with the original yugioh and it's cards and recently got back into the game a few weeks ago.
Man this skit is an instant TEAMAPS Classic
The guy at 5:13 with his tongue out. 😂
Very based. Wonderful video my dude.
This was iconic 100% A+😂
lol thanks for this. I was laughing throughout. Funny video guys!
lol, the Duelist Hyena explained perfectly :D I encountered with those kind of people a lot, every single time I bought a pack, they appeared! Heck, even when I bought my very first tin from my spare money from student job, smo already came with an offer for my Stardust Dragon. (and I bought that Stardust Dragon tin for that one monster in the first place XD)
This is the best channel on UA-cam !!
2:30 Damn scalpers
Ah nothing like a nice nature documentary about such fascinating creatures.
This was great. I would've had to leave because there's no way I could keep a straight face while yall filmed this
You guys nailed it again!
How about the
Metus Avoidus (subspecies): can be found in many other species of YGO players. plays decks considered good (or at least not generally bad) and well thought out, but they avoid the meta and try to get creative with the decks they build and use, even if they never always win. They may sometimes use some aspects of meta play, but usually things that are generally usable in almost any deck.
Top notch video, hope the next one comes soon ❤
I'm the Jackus-Of-All-Tradus fo-sho. I spend a good amount of my time playing Yu-Gi-Oh comparing it to other card games, but never seem to do it vice-versa 😅.
Let's go plunder representative spotted. Great video guys, keep it up
Loved this skit although I think near the end Larry was having too much fun but great as always
I was missing a skit like this. I laughed a lot
The sequel we've waited for so long!
Larry went all out for this one I love it😭😂😂😂
He always steals the show 💯
I’ve been thinking about doing a little experiment in a yugioh duel.
Basically a sort of what if scenario where how would graceful charity affect modern decks if it was at three.
I imagine zombie and infernoid decks would go to town.
I can see Larry is a man of culture as well 😂😂
Larry losing his mind! Love it! 😂
The 0:31 double tax dragon mirror jade destiny hero phoenix enforcer and dracostaplellia goes crazy
Awesome video
This is one documentary that deserves to be on the Discovery Channel! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
you guys are too funny love your skits :)
Dudes in the background staring hard into the camera had me 💀
4:50 is really funny to me because I used to be around and hang with those guys and Larry is a cop; so when I saw him making that face it made me chuckle thinking that Larry's thinking "Oooooohh yeah, I'm about to make an arrest" 😂
I love these so much great video
Man this takes me back to a few years ago when I stumbled across the channel
It's lie stepping into a time machine...except we're all older lol
@@TeamAPS the channel has aged almost as good as Larry
The Skits sre definetly the best Kinds of Videos on the channel
