My boyfriend got me in yugioh with a Dinomist deck. Then like a month later I was gonna make my own deck. I made full blown Dragon rulers and he said they were banned. Needless to say, I like those banned boys and play them anyway XD
Well that’s a way to enjoy the game. But when you play banned cards in your deck, and the opponent says ok, just be ready to encounter other banned cars that the opponent has, If the duel is just for fun.
@@Pontifex_Maximus. I see. Well good luck. i play predaplants against my friends and they hate dealing, well, anything. Apparently this archetype seems a bit anti-meta. At least against special summon heavy decks.
@@kelvinsantiago7061 In my case it's different. There is a legitimate case of: "The Duelus Trihardus" basically elbowed out nearly all causal or less competitive players from local shops and have a tendency to treat each locals as if they are a YCS.
You forgot the duelus gamerus. This type of duelist mostly duels online, where you can make your own deck. He will keep searching and searching for decks until he finds the one that fits his play style, and then he will buy the cards so he can use them irl. He is hard to spot, but when you do, bring your a-game, because he is prepared to win with his favorite deck, no matter what the cost. (Am one myself, I main ancient gear and utopia otk decks. Don't have the cards yet...)
You forgot the 11th, which is rp the rarest type, A duelist that actually gives a good game and one that is respectful, also known as a goodes playarius
It’s just good sportmanship to make the life point sound effect.-And if you lose in five turns or less you better act like you got sent to the shadow realm.
Holy shit. The fabled Duelus Otakus. There was a guy at a locals I frequented in days long past that would literally duel like Yugi Moto. The hand gestures, the inflection in his voice, all the way up to needless expository speech to clarify what his cards did. And he would do it at Regionals to boot. Holy shit was it frustrating...
Oh man I am not on this list, I literally just buy cards from dollar tree once each month. I was the second best in my school then became first when I got a trap card I don't remember but it destroyed two fusion monsters from the extra deck. My friend who was in first used cyber dragons however he only had five cards in his extra deck, 3 fusion and 2 xyz. Good times.
Props to the Tryus Hardus from way back when I used to go to locals, they had the decency to not be rude dickheads to newer or bad players. Keeping the banter amongst themselves or to assert dominance over potential threats to be.

His deck may not be meta at all. It might have been years ago but he treats it like his baby and is always looking to improve his magnus opus.
5:00 had Mr dying. Seeing them bob their heads up like Meer cats was hilarious.
I have a friend who is a Duelus Otakus, he summons monsters like...
*I summon (insert monster name here)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
And i'm like...
(insert onepunchmanok.peg)
😂
wait you dont say the cards name when its summoned
This was a good skit. Well done. The “scare the hairs off a Kuriboh” made me laugh.
My boyfriend got me in yugioh with a Dinomist deck.
Then like a month later I was gonna make my own deck.
I made full blown Dragon rulers and he said they were banned.
Needless to say, I like those banned boys and play them anyway XD
Well ..i mean as long your opponent is fine with it..but in that case he also can use op banned cards...this can make things complicated
Ah a fellow woman of culture (someone who likes dragons)
Well that’s a way to enjoy the game. But when you play banned cards in your deck, and the opponent says ok, just be ready to encounter other banned cars that the opponent has, If the duel is just for fun.
@@femmefuntime I stopped myself from making a dragonmaids comment. I need help.
@@bg.dragon1419 last time i checked pot of greed isent op
Can't tell if this is a mockumentary or a documentary show lmao... Its just too true to tell the difference.
The fact that the duelus otakus is playing on a judge mat sends me
5:08 I PUT THE NEW FORGIS ON THE JEEP
You guys blew it out the water with this one!! Awesome job!❤️
Might be just your best skit ever. Very well done team aps! Hilarious throughout!
I think we are all of them at one point lol
You forgot the biggus deckus, a species that built their own “deck” with over 50 cards that gets otk’d because they bricked. They always brick.
I used to be one
4:07 "getting revved up or feeling the flow" ah a nice zexal reference i see
I am a Duelus Otakus but for Arc-V it kills my cousin, I play like Yuri.
...So you play like a douche? Or just like a friendly "hehehe it's muda jojo" kinda thing?
Bruh, you shoulda just put him in a card, but now u finna gitcho wig split by yo celly.
You play predaplants?
Not yet, but soon
@@Pontifex_Maximus. I see. Well good luck. i play predaplants against my friends and they hate dealing, well, anything. Apparently this archetype seems a bit anti-meta. At least against special summon heavy decks.
You forgot the Duelistus Casualis, you know the one guy that just wants to get some friendly games.
They are kind of hard to find thanks to the Tryus Hardus driving them to extinction in card shops
@@kokirij0167 are you saying that I'm the last of my species!, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!.
Not the last. @@kelvinsantiago7061
We are few, and it makes me sad as I would like to play more
@@tristanalain9239 agreed I miss Yugioh but here in Puerto Rico there's hardly anyone to play with
@@kelvinsantiago7061 In my case it's different. There is a legitimate case of: "The Duelus Trihardus" basically elbowed out nearly all causal or less competitive players from local shops and have a tendency to treat each locals as if they are a YCS.
This man said “Is that grass really greener?” 😂😂
Me: I'm so excited to go to a new shop to duel!
Coronavirus: hey.........what are you doing
I loved the self parody of the Yogi Tuber xD
Currently I'm a species you didn't list. The duelus casuallus, but 7 years from now I'm probably gonna be a yugus inthusiastus
Am also a duelus casuallus
Truly beautiful. Nature is so magnificent.
Trell’s beard at 4:35 😂😂😂 I’m dead
Some of this acting feels like it comes from a place of anger making it even funnier
I admit I am guilty of being a Yugus Enthusiastus when it comes to Magic. I set up my little den and it's like my little outpost. lol
😂 genius skit
I can attest that this also applies to MTG players haha.
Lol this must be what you were talkin bout on facebook bout the funniest 1 yall have done yet lol
04:31 spit out my coffee when I saw his 'beard'
You forgot the duelus gamerus. This type of duelist mostly duels online, where you can make your own deck. He will keep searching and searching for decks until he finds the one that fits his play style, and then he will buy the cards so he can use them irl. He is hard to spot, but when you do, bring your a-game, because he is prepared to win with his favorite deck, no matter what the cost.
(Am one myself, I main ancient gear and utopia otk decks. Don't have the cards yet...)
This is top 10 documentary ever!
I'm using it the basis for my thesis lol
So I have a hybrid of tradus horus and slowus playus at my locals.
Yeah, it's pretty bad
CrappyDuelist 5 15 20 That's nothing dude I am a hybrid of Slowus Playus and Funkus Smellus. Horrible
I slow play but not on purpose. I just have zero perception of time when thinking.
I am an experienced version of the duelus otakus :D
You forgot the 11th, which is rp the rarest type, A duelist that actually gives a good game and one that is respectful, also known as a goodes playarius
You forgot the "Fekus Rulus"
The one with custom rules he believes give a bigger excitement to duels
-signed, a Fekus Rulus
It’s just good sportmanship to make the life point sound effect.-And if you lose in five turns or less you better act like you got sent to the shadow realm.
Laughed through the whole thing bro! Thanks :)
Glad you enjoyed!
I died laughing at this video in so many parts, and I don't even play yugioh. I definitely want to get into this game at some point though.
Keep coming back to this one it's so good really feels like a nature documentary
i almost regurgitated with the rulus sharkus LOL
I miss older yugioh, I got off the train around xyz and haven’t been able to pick it back up
Most Hilarious.
Will watch again 👍
No.10.. almost every yugioh youtuber xD
I'm tryus hardus, got that blue-eyes meta deck on sight no cap 🤣
LMAO The Yugus Enthusiastus. They literally move in the store like it's a homeless shelter for all their shit
Only true Yugioh fans knows that character that usually pose just like the thumbnail.
YuGiOh! Geographic
"the dulist otakus has extensive knowledge of the anime" *plays a blue eyes white dragon without tribute*
You forget about blue-eyus Duelus. The dueling who think he is Seto kaiba.
Good times.
I’d rather play a try hard than a slow player. Tbh
I agree, a try hard can actually be beaten but slowplayers are tricky af, so it's a good thing Topologic Bomber Dragon can reverse such situations.
I was at a tournament with a rulus sharkus and a tryus hardes dueled together. 20 minutes of arguing
0:26 "then puts his back to em to avoid predators" omg
Props to the Tryus Hardus from way back when I used to go to locals, they had the decency to not be rude dickheads to newer or bad players.
Keeping the banter amongst themselves or to assert dominance over potential threats to be.
