I don’t see why people seem to look at being responsible to other people’s feelings as such oppression. I think it’s a compliment that I have the influence to heal someone’s heart. Men have a tremendous effect on the healing of women and Vice versa.

Your presence is immaterial, if the man is truly sick. This is a job for a therapist, for a pastor, for a support group, for a professional, NOT for you as a woman. NO.
Women will lose their lives trying to do this. He has to pursue health, and desire it for his own well-being. He and God need to partner towards his positive end. You can be a cheerleader for what he's already doing, but you can not save, rescue, heal or motivate a man; and don't let anybody tell you that you can.
I worked in Special Victims, Domestic Violence Unit, Brooklyn New York. Many women have lost their lives attempting to do this. This message is not a healthy or safe option for you.

Unfortunately some men don't want to do the work involved in the healing its too painful for them to peel back the layers/mask that they have walked around with for decades. They have been praised for 'doing' no one has challenged for not 'being'.
Women have now become intentional in doing the healing work. Alot are making the choice not to be available for broken men, especially the ones that refuse to acknowledge that they need to do the work to be whole.

A woman cannot heal a boy, allowing the man in him to show up. A woman has her own healing to do. It is not a woman's responsibility to "heal" the boy in her boyfriend or husband or turn her boyfriend or husband into a man. It is that man's responsibility to himself. If he is not a man when you meet him, you need to stay far away. Knowledge of Self/Oneness with God is the only solution.

Being "tired of waiting" smacks of desperation and we, as men, can smell it a mile away. Most men will either run from it (the desperation) or try to take advantage of it. Her "tired of waiting" is exactly the mindset hindering her desire for a solid relationship.
See, by "being tired of waiting", she is coming from a mentality of lack that "there are not enough good men" and the Universe will give her what she thinks...what she meditates upon. So, she will get more "not enough good men" (i.e. the lack of good men) showing up in her life. "As a man (or woman) thinketh, so is he (she).

I do, however, want my daughter to prioritize having a "healed man", over any other attributes, because that's a positive start of showing that everything else a man can offer will fall into place. Just because women refuse to do the work a grown man should have done for himself, doesn¡t mean they're not willing to do ANYTHING! In fact, they are coming from a place were they've put in the work to better themselves, went to therapy etc. (Why do you think it's mostly women who consume relationship content? because they are more interested to work on themselves in that area) So their expectation for a man to do the same is legitimate and fully justified.

We talked over several times and I remember asking him about his BM
    - Why are you with someone you don’t love?
    - If you had everything like your own place etc , would you still be with her.
    - You can still parent your 18 yr old daughter outside the home and she can even live with you.
Also I told him to be alone with any woman you don’t desire or want to keep NO SEX OR DISTRACTIONS so that you can get your life all together.

This is such a good video. Something that I needed to hear. I'm grateful for this platform. Keep having these conversations so that those of us in black communities and households can heal. Cause we are struggling, because these conversations are not being had.

You’re hearing it that way because it’s triggering something in you. No one is saying be a slave. You’re both going to heal one another, it’s an ongoing process. You need to deal with all this resentment, bitterness and hurt from these past relationships that’s manifesting right now. Until you let that go, you will continue to reject this message. I’m sorry if there’s been people who’ve taken advantage of you in the past. However, eventually you need to deal with that and let it go. Everyone is not out to get you. And a good man will not do you dirty. Good men deserve good women and that’s the message. Taking care of one another is holistic, and requires deep, ongoing work.

@@heavensent4362 exactly dudes need to let go of that pain and heal themselves before moving into a healthy relationship, then the woman he gets will not only compliment his life then she can move forward helping him with any issues that arise not help him heal his past thats a therapist. & Gods job.

That’s what therapy and self-healing is for! Not interested in “healing” a man-child.
