I have watched SO many guides on different things and this guide was by far the best I have seen. Simple to follow, clear instructions, even the edits where you zoomed in on what to click and highlighted the options.
He did not teach ''How to Copy or Transfer Files FROM A COMPUTER ''TO'' A USB FLASH DRIVE.'' He taught the opposite direction from flash drive to a computer.

Wrong info - I want to transfer files FROM the computer TO the USB. You demonstrate how to transfer file TO the computer FROM the USB. It's a preposition problem.

Brent the reason I gave a dislike to this video is it failed to explain what the title said it would. Clear as day you stated in the title FROM the computer TO the usb drive. You did the exact opposite. If it were a test you would have totally failed.

Thank you so much, I have a flash drive with a very important info. and need to copy it to my computer in case the flash drive get corrupted or get lost, I don't knew how to copy it before, but after I watched your video I did copy all the folders to my comp, now I feel a lot better, again Thank you very much.

I want to remove ALL my files onto a stick, so I can delete everything on the old PC and then add contents of stick to my new PC....before this old Desktop expires. He`s waffling on about adding stuff, not removing. His title, which came up when I was selective with my search wording, is misleading.

Belated from a senior slow learner. Your presentation is easier to follow compared (unfortunately) to other narrators who speak to fast and have that courser zip-zapping across the screen. Question still goes under-answered by others. How do I Transfer my "Note Pad" writings to a USB. Please keep it simple I am one of 'em old timers trying to learn late in life.
Well to do that backup documents on to a USB Because documents have all your notepads.

When I right click - Save Link As..., all I get is a document. Not the Application! What must I do to guarantee getting an Application every time, please? (I am doing this on a public library pc. Could this be the reason I cannot download application to a usb flash drive?)
i am wandering if there is a program that will let me drag all of the files that i want on the usb and then sync them all at once. drag and drop is simple enough. my comp is not good a vista and there is no further upgrades i can do.
a simple program to drag all of the movies music files onto without conversion and to be able to do all at once. instead of individually. i have ms sync toy but it works for folders and it is set up for my nas.

How can I put all my folders on my Desktop onto a flashdrive...above it says copy from computer to USB Flash...but what I am seeing is what is on your flash drive already & putting it on computer(wherever selected). Would you be able to be specific as to how i can select an entire folder(keeping all contents in that folder-usually photos) to put on a Flash Drive? Any help would be appreciated...I'm using Windows 10 Google browser(not Edge)...if that matters. Thank you very much

1st your video was highly informative, Thanks. I’m new to flash drives. I have a 16 GB flash drive. I installed the 16 GB flash drive in my laptop. I went to file explorer. And copied my laptop "Document folder" to the flash drive, I eject the flash drive and installed it in my desktop PC. Then copied the "Document folder" from the flash drive to the "Document folder" on my PC. It did transfer the "Document folder and sub folders", but when I went to open a file, I noticed the file went automatically to my one drive "Document folder"? So, I thought I would open a file to make sure it is working properly.
And got an error message that said:
“Word experience an error trying to open the file Try these suggestions:
*Check the file permissions for the document or drive
*Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space
*Open he file with the Text Recovery Converter”??
(I’m not familiar on how to do the above and not sure if these are my solution?) I'm not computer literate.
Dont copy the document folder itself, copy everything in the document folder indivisually. That should work ! Glad I could help :D
