No it will not transfer your emails, because they are in the program folder of your e-mail program. If you export your e-mails as files, you can copy them like any other file. If you have a disk drive on each of your computers, you can use the disk on both.
Thank you for reaching out to us! Yes, you can transfer data from Windows 8 to Windows 10. The Bravura Easy Computer Sync software will work with Windows XP through Windows 11. If you have any other questions e-mail us directly via support@plugable.com

Very good video and explanation. Right to the point. I have one question though. My old laptop has 1 SSD drive for everything. My new computer, an AIO, has both a SSD as the primary- C- and a second HHD-D- as the secondary. The SSD is 256 GB and the HHD is 1 TB. How do I differentiate what to put on each? I know I want videos, pictures & music, my 3 largest files (folders) on D to not use up space on the C drive. Also, HOW do I divide them up? Do I transfer everything to the new computer, then move them to the appropriate disk? Thanks for any help.
You may want to use the Drag & Drop mode which is manual, and let's you drag and drop individual files and folders over. This mode automatically shows all available hard drives (In the Transfer and Sync Modes, you need to click the button to Add Folder to access other drives). This could help you with organizing things. Typically people will leave the SSD for Windows and other applications, and use the larger drive for pictures, music, and other files. It may be easiest to transfer files to the large drive first, and then manually move things around later.

Will this work between windows 98 and windows 7? Because I have two computer systems together and I use both daily.
Are you actually unironically using Win98 in 2020 ???
Even your Win7 is already obsolete and not supported anymore.
Anton Fetzer yes and windows 10 acts like shit
Excellent instructions. I wish more UA-cam instruction videos were like this. Can you transfer Windows10 files to a Windows 11 computer?
Thanks for the comment. We're glad to see our video was helpful for you! Yes, you can transfer back and forth between Windows 10 and 11, or between any compatible versions of Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8.x, 10, 11) for that matter.
how is it not possible to transfer files between win10 devices with anything other than BLUETOOTH. what is this the year 2006 or what?!
