Hi Bonnie hope you are well. Maybe if they had these computer things when you were a college student things might be a bit easier. They didn,t have computers in school when I attended either. I am 62 and do alright on them but still cant write a letter because columns go all over the place and I cant even do a paragraph but can do emails and quite a few other things mostly self taught just have to keep trying things until you can understand them. It can be frustrating but it,s worth the effort it,s a whole new world. I still cant cut and paste though. Maybe you could teach me? Please stay safe. Regards Noel in Australia. 🙂
@@noelbush6284 It's true, I'm 16 and find computers to be easy since I've been using them since I was little. I'm watching this video because for some reason my flash drive isn't working. To copy and paste text: 1. You select it by clicking and dragging over the text 2. Click "Ctrl" and "C" on your keyboard to copy 3. To paste, you click where you want to paste the text, then click "Ctrl" and "V". 4. To cut text you can select it and then press "Ctrl" and "X" on your keyboard. I hope this helped! UA-cam can be a great help when you're confused about something on the computer.
I feel the need to add that, if you run out of room in your diminished folder, do not be like me & waste an hour trying to add a page or a column so that you can continue pasting files in it (you won't be able to). Instead, simply maximize the folder (the little square in the top right hand corner next to the "close" X), mouse the cursor to the lower blank area, paste your file, minimize (the same square), grab another file, and repeat til your heart's content.

Why doesn't anybody ever transfer pictures from the flashdrive into the computer? Nobody talks about that!
