I Got A WATER LEAK In My Studio! | Drum Studio Setup (Update)

- As you might've seen from my community post - I got a water leak in my studio. It really sucks, but luckily I got a back up space set up really fast and my amazing girlfriend helped me carry all the stuff into the other practice space and set up all the gear.
Positive side, no drums or other gear was damaged and hopefully I can get my regular studio back as soon as possible. Huge thanks to everyone who's written kind words to me here on UA-cam or on Instagram, I really appreciate that. And I promise - more drum content is coming soon!

I walked into one of my spare bedrooms that I hardly go into. I opened the closet door and the ceiling was on the floor. Good luck man

Oh man! Not much worse than sewer pipe problems 🤢. So will they be replacing any of the wall materials or clean the floor or anything in your area?
On another note... I'm not a drummer but do have the new PocketDrum 2 air drum sticks. I've been looking at your short videos for the very basics and am having fun with it. I like how you present your lessons and want to say thanks!

Not a water l leak, a sewage leak! The worst.
In the new space, see if you can find out where the plumbing is routed above the ceiling panels so you don't inadvertently put an expensive piece of gear under that space. Good luck to you. Lot of work in a couple days, you must be exhausted, a little flushed even.
Luckily, the pipes from my rehearsal space is not the same pipe system in the other room!

Har ingen aning om hur skadan ser ut mer än att det läckt ut vatten. Får se hur lång tid det tar helt enkelt 🤗
@@ThatSwedishDrummer Jag hade en liknande vattenskada i min första hyresetta. Vattnet hade gröpt upp en spricka in en bärande vägg så de fick riva rubbet. Det var grymt jobbigt men jag fick motsvarande 6 månaders hyra tillbaka p.g.a allt jobbstrul. Tråkigaste var att man bor i ett rum + wc och man måste vara uppe innan hantverkarna kom strax före 7 varje dag.
Hoppas som sagt att det går smidigare/snabbare för dig!
P.S Köpte ett trumset förra året för skojs skull men körde fast, men dina videos ger mig MASSOR av inspiration och nya ideer!! Tusen tack för allt jobb du lägger ner för att göra dessa!! 🤩🤘
