Fun fact, did you know in hello neighbor pre-alpha after you get done with the basement door, he does almost all the things they listed in the AI video, like going to sleep, cleaning, washing his hands even if he’s just standing still, and watching the TV and exercising
Actually, the reason the neighbor doesn’t do anything besides watching TV it’s because in the game, when you start, the neighbor always watches TV in the first version of the house, different events in the game, trigger different variations of the house, or the neighbor does different things, like the nightmare sequence, and taking certain things off the door. Hope that helps!
After some testing, it appears as though the Neighbor starts to do other things only once the lock is removed from the basement door. I think the reason why he was always watching TV at first was to gatekeep the key from the player since its on the stand next to the TV. After the lock is removed, he has no reason to watch TV constantly to gatekeep something other than the basement.
Alpha 1 has to be my favourite build. There’s many ways to get into the basement like the crowbar under the bed or the key in the pram, and I loved the variety of chase music, the second track being my favourite. I like how the first floor feels like the pre-alpha, but still adds stuff to it so it feels fresh. The ambience from the pre-alpha is still present and adds to the game so well. Also, the original menu is present in this version when you press “m” being the only one to be written in English. So, there is your rant from one comment viewer to another!
I’ve broken the game in pre-alpha some times (or just playing it long enough) To the point where he rearranged his house and there’s a closet in place of his couch so he can’t watch tv, he fixes his tires sometimes, and looks under nothing when he knows you’re in his presence. I generally like pre alpha a whole lot, maybe even more than alpha 1.
1:16 It was used... but only in the prototype version, so basically in the trailer after the player picks up the key on the kitchen table the neighbor appears and starts chasing them, but if you look closely, you can see that its that same running animation
1:161:20 That running animation and eat at table animation was used in Prototype and I think even Pre-Alpha (during the development seen in the AI rundown video)
I wonder if there's actually a reason for you to be spying on your neighbor or if the twist is that you are the psychopath. Also, it's fun that you can escape him by sleeping. "Oh, he's asleep. Guess I can't reach him. Bummer."
10:53 most assume you put the bear in the fire, although, it is actually the rusty key *under* the bear that you put in the furnace. That gets you a key that can be used on the basement (yes it works) Edit: the original key under the bear before the fire, isn’t supposed to work on the door, but there were problems with the coding when connecting the two keys.
everything from prototype to alpha 1 has gotta be the best of the hello neighbor games. the in-game story and gameplay are so unique. they should 100% make a hello neighbor movie based on the alphas rather than the generic story filled modern HN games. a movie actually scary that leans more towards are R rating and not loke the fnaf movie
Alpha one was interesting build nice start cutscenes rifle range and teacher puzzle I thought was cool and train it was good update to the pre alpha it was a amazing build it felt more polished with parts and the ai was good
In the teddy bear part there is a video of you as the player goes into the basement and surviving. The teddy bear and furnaces is weird do to you having to turn the wheel so many times in order for it to work
yo man! i wanted to dm you on something but couldnt find any accounts. can you make shorter videos on the pre alphas of hello neighbor 2? or maybe talk about the prototype version?
It’s very crazy to think that the models and textures are so realistic, but in the final game they look like the models were made by a ten year old. I wish it was still realistic…
I think Alpha 1 is the least stable version of Hello Neighbor because the game crashes sometimes unexpectedly and I have to start over from the beginning

@@PKSuperStar256 thats why i loved how he watches TV most of the time
3:45 "Clearly an anomaly" yeah no, we just drive the car from the trunk.
I legit thought when i was probably around 9 or 10 i thought you just simply need to steal the neighbors things to decorate your room with
Hello Furniture.
What the?
I would do that because I had beaten it so many times and gotten bored.
THATS EXACTLY WHAT I DID EVERY SINGLE TIME I PLAYED OUR BRAINS ARE ON THE SAME BRAINWAVE
Fun fact: the reason why the early player wasn't used in alpha 1 was because nicky's model had already been finished before the early player model

I didn’t even know there was a menu and I’ve been on this build since it released!!!

thats intended behaviour
1:16 yes unused running animation. he would have reached his arms out to grab you if he got close enough to you

the bath animation was in alpha 1, you just have to get there fast enough.. if hes there
I love this alpha, science this bug with trashcan and many cool dream's

In alpha one, there was different chase music. There's also the only time the Jack hammer appeals.

7:27 this is realised in alpha2, and they finished this in full game

This is my favorite build! Good house, good artstyle, and good puzzles. Better than alpha 2
That classic “oh my gosh”
I love alpha 1
ok as a hello neighbor super fan, i see that most of these opinions are true, but my guy be spelling 1 as won as in a victory
That is the point, heh.
@@AnomalousDucky i was watching this like "this is a cool video, imma comment" then I realized I did comment 7 months ago
@@CookiebroREAL crazy that these videos are getting so old now. Feels like yesterday when I made them.

Its been a while but are you going to do another one on alpha 4 or maybe the full game?@@AnomalousDucky
If you wanna see a realized version of Alpha 1 based on these cut concepts, check out The Neighbor's Comeback! It's got all six floors to it!
Hopefully you cover early concepts, arts, videos, etc for the pre alpha video, as i feel that the build is pretty forward itself.
Yes, and I will be talking about the prototype and announcement trailer, too.
Bro how aren't you popular you deserve more popularity
i want to play the other floors
I last appeared in this channel under the name Khara.
Now my new name has reached it again,
Such a honor.
He sure loves that TV! What do you think he watches?
All he watches is a Spanish baking commercial on loop for eternity. Guy must enjoy his recipes
@ very true.

I love how you talk about the game while stealing all this shit from the neighbour
LOL
17:13 what is this song
You forgot about the alpha 1 option menu press m while playing and you can see a prototype of the hello neighbor option menu From the full release!
In the teddy bear part there is a video of you as the player goes into the basement and surviving. The teddy bear and furnaces is weird do to you having to turn the wheel so many times in order for it to work
Yeah, I’ve seen that video. I used to think it’s real lol

I think Alpha 2 is actually the best but that’s just my opinion
Eh, I disagree, but I can see why you prefer that build
Alpha 2 is the start of the downfall but is still overall good, this is amazing so is the Pre-Alpha.
Me too. Alpha 2 is my favorite
@ Fair. It sucked after that
It’s very crazy to think that the models and textures are so realistic, but in the final game they look like the models were made by a ten year old. I wish it was still realistic…
i beat alpha one the completely intended way on my first try without even SEEING the neighbor

Your pc is a toaster; its one of the best and only good versions (Pre-Alpha-Alpha 2)
Idk why but i actually like pre alpha more the house looks better and nightmare squence etc. But alpha 1 is good too
But alpha 2 is the best alpha
My favorite is alpha 2❤
its good but this is too.
“Alpha won”
why is the title "alpha won" lmfao
Because this alpha won
