    Ingredients:
    (measurements are metric)

    1 tsp cumin seeds
    1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

    I have recently become a vegan, and I am loving every minute, thanks to you and your amazing recipies. I was just watching this video and fancied that I could almost smell your food cooking, and then I realised ithe delicious smell was coming from the batch of vegan ground beef , cooking away in my own oven. Thank you so much ,you are a star. xx

      Margarite Olmos nope. Not Greek rather Croatian moussaka. It has the thinly sliced potatoes and the ground beef mixture, lots of butter and a milk/sour cream/egg mixture that was poured over the whole thing. It's been about 20 years since I've had it.

    Delicious. Ok, I made the cheese sauce and it was awesome. I couldn't wait to make the lasagna. It was superb. Because my pan was a little bigger, I did have enough sauce. I will be eating this lasagna for the rest of the week. I wish I knew how to upload a photo so you could see. Also I used mushrooms instead of the "ground beef ". I didn't have and made up.

      Claudia Tsang Just out of curiosity, would you buy a cookbook that has all the recipes that are currently on youtube already, but in a handy book format that has everything written out in it? With a few extra recipes thrown in... or would you rather a whole NEW recipe book?

    • @CloudiaTsang
      @CloudiaTsang 9 років тому +1

      I would like to have all the recipes from UA-cam plus some new ones thrown in. I like having physical recipes for me to look at, lend to friends and family, and just to have because I love cook books in general. Though all new recipes does sound awesome too! Maybe if you did the the 1st book with old and new, and it goes really well then you'd want to make another with all new recipes. I just can't wait for the release of Any cook book you put out!

    • @cookingwithplants
      @cookingwithplants  9 років тому +1

      Claudia Tsang Thanks Claudia :-) I'm thinking the combination will get it out much faster. Like you said it is great to have a physical copy of all the recipes... even I myself would like that! :-) Will definitely do multiple cookbooks after the first one. Thanks again for your input :-)

      @dianakara7770 8 років тому +1

      +CookingWithPlants I'll try that, thankyou.. I'm also making your herbed koftas in your cookbook and the recipe asks for gluten flour. Can i use all purpose flour instead? I came across wheat gluten in my local Asian grocer, it's made of 100% wheat. Wasn't sure if that was the same thing as gluten flour??

    • @cookingwithplants
      @cookingwithplants  8 років тому

      Diana kara§ You will need vital wheat gluten (gluten flour). Totally different to regular flour as it is very high protein and mind differently into a meat like texture.

    I just read your "about us" tab on your website and I'm so jealous of your vegan family! I've been actively trying to get my boyfriend to eat vegan for more than a year now, and while he does eat a lot more vegan meals, he is definitely not vegan. Also he refuses to watch anything with animals being abused or hurt like earthlings (I guess he likes being ignorant?). I'm hoping that some of your recipes will convince him because they are just amazing! Is your husband still completely vegan, or is it just a temporary diet for health? Keep up the great message!
