I love making Gimbap with whatever ingredients are in the fridge. One time, I made Danmuji from scratch but it made my fridge and house smell SO bad…no one wanted to come to my house omg 😂. So from now, I always buy it from the shop.

Aaron I tell you what, this video is amazing so is your tip about the sesame oil over the seaweed and the knife. I would never have tried to make this at home even though I am a very adventurous cook until I saw this video just a few minutes ago. Now I am 100% sure that I can do it!! YUMMMMMY!!!!

This makes me think of a Korean restaurant that used to exist, if you ate lunch there they always had gimbap ready while you waited. That was my introduction to gimbap and i miss it dearly, it was really good and very well made!

I love Gimbap. I always do a lot of it because my son eats a lot of it at the age of 5. My husband also likes gimbap very much and likes to take it with him to work because it is healthy and can also be eaten quickly. My son likes egg gimbap best. My husband and I like it when there are a lot of vegetables in it, we also like to eat the traditional gimbap. Great to learn your variant.

I have been watching prior to the pandemic. Initially, I really appreciate hearing your thoughts on food while the both of you travel. Especially American food because I always wondered what people like or dislike about popular American foods.

Got into making Gimbap awhile ago as prefer it to maki, due to not being to keen on raw fish. Like to experiment sometimes trying different meat mixes. Miso beef has been a favourite use of mine outside of the traditional types.

With a sandwich, you normally take ingredients already prepared and put it between the bread. Unless it is a grilled one. But getting to my question. Can I do the preparation of the filling a day prior and assemble the next day or is it better to do everything that day? Of course put everything in the refrigerator until ready to use. I suppose the spinach won't keep well may have to do it that day.

GImbap is delicious, thanks for uploading this. I was trying to make it with rice prepared as you would for Sushi but the taste is off just a little. The Damuji adds a special bit of that texture too.
