thank you so much
Thank you 👍🏼 .. well done
Plus, the written recipe was already uploaded for you guys~! Hope you guys try some of them out and please let us know which one was your favorite! Lots of love from Seoul! 🤞🥰 aaronandclaire.com
Thank you!
you should add the rice instructions at 2:00. More people need more rice instructions.
I forgot the first rule of watching Aaron and Claire - never do it on an empty stomach. 😳
Im in bed watching this and omg my stomach is growling! I may use my leftover channa masala and turn it into a gimbap for breakfast 😄 or grab the spam
@@chelseaoates610 😄
I did it on a very full stomach and it still didn’t help.
ITS TORTURE...... ABSOLUTE TORTURE
I just ate and I’m full but still want to eat it
Aaron and Claire are great ambassadors for South Korea. They are really smart and make high quality videos. They have fun. Always have a full belly before watching their videos because you are going to be made hungry.
true im always hungry after watching them
Mark Stone Haha are we? Really? lol Thank you for saying that and we are so honored. 🤗🙏 Yes, I agree. Don't forget to eat something before watching our videos! 😋😉
Yes you two are wonderful ambassadors for your country because you bring a lot of fun to the world. Cooking and food are sort of universal expressions so you are reaching people all over the world.
I agree with Claire: the edge is always best on gimbap!
😁😁😁
I need Aaron’s “Don’t worry about it, I’m here for you guys” as my ring tone.
Aaron...you need to make a t-shirt with a Chibi version of you saying, “Don’t worry about it!” 😁 I’d buy one!
New drinking game. Everytime Aaron points out his index finger. We drink. I love your videos Aaron! Keep up the good work.
I don't actually want to die today, soooo....
Also, a shot for every time Aaron says, “I’m here for you!” 😂
@@larimel8191 I believe I said I *don't* want to die 😂
KittyCat260 what about watching every video and taking a shot everytime he says “Hello from Seoul👋”
@@billy6678 similar situation but I'd probably try it... 🤔 At least when you get too drunk you can quit out 😂
Great easy tips to follow! Love that Aaron and Claire give the fundamentals of cooking a dish, rather than prescribed recipes.
I love that you let Hodu walk in and out of your shot. Hodu is a beautiful doggy.🌷🌺🌸🏵️
I used to suffer when rolling and cutting kimbap rolls bc they would just fall apart. This hack of covering the knife's edge with sesame oil is amazing. Not only it helps getting a clean cut but it also transfers some of that lovely taste between each cut. It also helps to wipe the knife with a moist cloth every now and then to keep it from getting too sticky. I made some kimbap for New Year's Eve and cut it using Aaron's hack and it's probably the prettiest kimbap I've ever made.
I love this channel so much, you’ve given the best and easiest recipes for my favorite dishes and saved me so much money! I really love you guys!
My pleasure!! So nice to hear! 😊
Honestly I love you guy's channel so much. I love the effort you make to provide simple and easy recipes, substitute/ omission options, and common ingredients. The dynamic provided between you both is so casual, it's clear you two have great chemistry. It's truly a channel apart from the many youtube cooking channels and I hope you both get the fame and recognition you deserve. Keep up the good work.
Now we are talking about. This is beyond everything. This is my favorite favorite Korean dish. It's so versatile and delicious. I can't resist. I can eat a lot. Thanks
I'm always watching Aaron cook while I'm cooking and then eat with Claire. Ever since I started living along in my own apartment, I've since been a fan of this channel! You helped me a lot so much
I love this channel.
Definitely subscribed. Love the humor and the recipes.
Making a variety of these tonight! So excited! We love you Aaron and Claire, and of course your food!! OMG! We’ve enjoyed every recipe! Thank you!
Yay! Hope you enjoy them all!!! 🤗😁👍
Can’t wait to try these recipes!! Thank you so much! 💕 you guys!
My pleasure!! 🥰🥰
Omg it's so sweet! When Aaron says that he consider this little tiny things in his videos to makes our lives easier like prep the eggs before the carrots to have less dishes to wash
AMAZING!!! I JUST MADE THEM!!! following exact directions!! they turned out great!!!!!
After watching this video I got the courage to finally make gimbap, and now I've made it like 5 times and it's always a treat, and I always rewatch this video 2-3 times before I make it, in preparation. It is THE PERFECT video for this dish ❤❤❤
Awesome recipes! Thank you
My family loved it, thanks for sharing the recipe!!
Kimchi Gimbap is my favorite go-to after watching this video, I make it at least once a week! Love the pan fried egg tip, and putting oil on the knife! Thank you Aaron, cooking can be intimidating but your videos give me so much confidence 😄
Your videos are the best!!
Thank you so much!! 🥰🥰
Amazing thank you for sharing this is great can't wait to try it
I love the way you explain⭐️ I m gonna try these. Thanks a lot
I now have a bunch of options for making lunches when I got back to work 😂 and I’m so glad you added the recipe for the mayak kimbap dipping sauce!!
Hope that happens soon! Keep safe and healthy! 🙏😊
Awesome! We are making gimbap tonight with what we have in the fridge and pantry: crab, tuna, cucumber, carrot, avocado and green onion. We love your videos! Also, I’ve been making tteokbokki at least once a week for over a month because of you! Luckily we have several Korean grocery stores in Portland, Oregon so I can get all the ingredients! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos, I know it takes a lot of effort.
Awesome! It's so nice to hear that you can enjoy them often! The written recipe was already posted on our blog, so please check it before you try it. Hope you like them too! 😊🤞 aaronandclaire.com
Wow, I love this one, I'm definitely going to try all of the kimbap recipes, I can't wait. Thanks for the videos, I really enjoy them.
loved it! ill have to try some variation of this soon! thank you!
Wow, wow, wow! Hello from US. These are so good and easy, I can eat them everyday for 2 weeks! Thanks, your vids are amazing! I would also try spicy sardines as part of the filling instead of tuna.
Just rice kimbap itself is already unexplainable delicious
Loved this! Always great recipes ❤️
I am addicted to gimbap. I've experimented with so many options. YOu would be surprised, but mozzarella tuna gimbap was out of this world!
I can definitely enjoy it all 10 ways 🤗🤗
🤗🤗🤗
I'm here for all those Aaron-Claire moments 😂 and the recipes too of course 👉👉

I just bought seaweed and sushi rice, so at the weekend I will try some of these ideas. Thanks for showing :-)
Kimbap is so good! I just had some for dinner today with spicy rice cake ahaha. And Omg. Your dog in the background is so cute, you should show the doggo in the video more often ❤️
I am sure that was the perfect combination.🤤🤤
I'm pretty sure the dog isn't on the menu
This looks amazing! I need to try this for sure!! Thanks guys! 😊😊🙃🙃
Nice and clear instructions, thanks for sharing. I'm a fan thank you😊

And as always - Lucky Lucky Claire 🙂
Thank you for the tutorial on how to roll gimbap! I tried it before but could never get the ingredients to stay inside, now I feel more confident I can get it right.
I wish I was claire ;-;
All the food she gets to eat looks so good but I dont have the stuff sadly..Hm..Maybe I can go out and get it-
thanks for the recipes Aaron!!
My pleasure!! 😊
THIS CHANNEL ACTUALLY SHOWS RECIPES THAT YOU CAN COOK. Love it. I've found my heaven 😭❤
Claire: just looking at it makes me so happy
Me: just looking at it makes me so hungry 🤣🤤
When it's 12 AM and am watching their videos. "This is real suffer"
It looks so yummy! I have to try this!
Looks so good!
“More -green onion- *pickled radish,* more yummy.”
-me
Haha Yeah, for gimbap, I totally agree, but I can't give up green onions! lol 😋😝🤣🤣
Aaron and Claire yeah picked radish 🥰💗
I'm into these korean recipes right now, and where I live it is difficult to get lots of ingredients. This gimbap recipe is really awesome because the ingredients are really easy to get! Thanks a lot guys! c:
My pleasure! That's so nice to hear!! 🤗😍
Love the way you intrAct with us love love and so easy and you share so much knowledge
These look beautiful and absolutely delicious! Thank you for another great video
You are very welcome! 😊
What kind of rice do you need? because last time I made sushi my seaweed did not stick with my rice. It fell apart.
Mirna Flores For gimbap, we should use short-grain rice! Otherwise, it won't stick to your dried seaweed. 😅😅
Lisa Hinton Nice explanations! Thank YOU~! 🤗💕
"Real" sushi rice is not short grain but actually a tumbled medium grain rice to make it shorter but thicker. But in my experience (5 years in a commercial sushi kitchen + 2-3 years at home) short grain also works. Water ratio is about 1:1 with a smidge extra water.
Thanks for the info 😊
My sis and I made some a month ago, but it didn't stick well 😔 We've always eat long-grain rice so we assumed any rice would stick..
Now the mystery is solved (BTW, it was still delicious even if the rice didn't stick) 😋
@@jrfackrell Your opinion is invalid because you are not asian..
Sir, can you make some recipes that use gochujang as main ingredient? ☺️
Sure, love the idea! Give us some time! 😊
Hi Aaron and Claire.....wow exciting recipe.Thanks.
My pleasure! 🤗
I just discovered this channel and I think you two are amazing!!! You have such an understanding of what is difficult to get overseas, and such an understanding of how everyday cooking is like. Like you said that if it's been a long time since you've gone grocery shopping, you may not have a lot of ingredients, but you may have some eggs in your fridge. You're totally right!! I do!! This is the first time I have come across a cooking channel like this. I will definitely be making lots of gimbap now!
Watching u make the bulgogi one...
Claire is still hangry after the rest of the gimbap?! 🤣
Give this comment a thumbs up if you appreciate Aaron + Claire suffering for us!! 👍♥️💪😍
🤩🤩🤩
Is Claire really suffering though? 😂
@@user-jv5pp8pv9l Think of all the dishes!! 😱
I love watching your shows
Thanks so much for this video, since I watched it, it's been on my to-do list with my friend. We finally made gimbap tonight and we loved every second!
If you think im gonna show you how to make pickled radish by scratch dont even think about it you guys really like to see me suffer - aaron 2020 also thank you for the recipes :>
My pleasure! 😉You know I was kidding! 🤣
Aaron, how did you learn your knife skills? (FYI: can’t get perilla leaves here-so I bought some seeds! Just started growing my own perilla leaves! 😇) so knife skills?
Awesome! You are a real dedicated student!!😍👍 Now, you don't need to think of perilla leaves looking at some leaves from random trees. 🤣🤣😊 FYI, my knife skills was kind of survival skill that I got from working at the restaurant. 😂😂😂
Love this. Thank you
Omg wow !! how did I miss this!!! Wow amazing!,
Claire looked pissed when she was only served rice wrapped in seaweed
Mochi maybe that’s her “where’s the kimchi?” face? 😂
Lol
Exactly!! Where's the kimchi face!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Aaron and Claire thanks to her, I am loving kimchi! I’m starting to use it more and more!
LOL
Can you do 6 new ways to enjoy rice ? I know there is a million ways to use rice but I just want to watch a video so I don’t have to chose between a lot more options.
Yummm! Looking forward to even more recipes for this! Thank you!😊💕
Honestly your videos ALWAYS put me in a good mood! Thank you! I’m learning so much and having such a good time! ❤️
I'm so glad our videos make you happy! Thank you for enjoying our videos! 🤗😍
OMG. Aaron is talking about nudes!! 😱🤣
😂😂😂😂
Aaron and Claire really where do I sign up?
"dont worry bot it" if I had 50cent every time I heard that..
You will be so rich at the end...🤣🤣🤣
@@AaronandClaire 😁
Great recipes. And fun.
Enjoyed the video. Thank you.
A recent learner of Japanese n Korean dishes. Your channel helped me a lot in quick learning gimbap
Aaron, I absolutely love your cutting board
Thank you so much. I made my first tonight, with your easy to follow instructions. It was great!!!
GREAT tutorial Aaron. Looks so easy to make. Now I'm hungry.
You can use a stiff brown paper grocery bag instead of a bamboo mat. Works great. It’s all I’ve ever used to make rice rolls. It looks difficult without any wrapping tool at all.
your channel is AMAZING omg
this is so great! I would love to see more gimbap recipes
Oh my that was so inspiring I can't wait
Thank you for making everything so easy and explaining everything and also the tips and alternative ingredients 🙂 you're my favorite cooking channel ♥️
oh Aaron, i went downstate and went to the Korean store and bought lotsa ingredients, stocked up on anything I thought I needed. now I don't feel like cooking. but I have my cupboards full. and I just picked my first homegrown Korean radish, my napa is almost ready to harvest and all I feel like doing is making instant ramyan . i even have harvested my chives and green onions. so with all your inspirational videos, i am going to whip up something between kimchi jigae/noodles/sauteed veggies something. i even bought black bean sauce and i have never had that. I just love you guys so much you are so inspirational. thanks.
I'm a new fan. Love this channel!
Thanks Aaron and Claire great video
My pleasure!! 😁
Love the channel, most of recipes, detailed and easy to make :)
Aaron, I binge watch your channel. It's lovely!
Thank you so much for saying that and supporting our channel! Really appreciate it! 😁🙏
Something i love about this channel is Aaron makes everything simple. I am learning Korean cooking only here. Claire is a goddess of making me hate her. She enjoys the food and I get extremely hungry. anyway, I need to share this on my FB. Thanks so much both you love birds.
Aaron you are a genius to create good rolls. I wanna try it…thanks for sharing
