Do you know where one of this can be found , or any forums out there ?? Our hourse pasture is over run with saplings and this would slowly get teh job done ...
Be careful. In the circumstance of one wheel slipping and the other engaged this tractor can turn 180 degrees in an instant. In that case the open blade becomes deadly. It has happened to me.
Thanks for the great video! I used to get brush like you showed there, with the sickle bar for the L8 (using one edge, easing into it if it was thick-stemmed) That's a beautiful blade, though. I wonder how much it costs. Have you considered taking the rotary mower attachment's deck (with the two sled type glides on the sides) and cutting out a portion of the front so the blade could cut forward, and the sides were guarded? I think the deck is 30", so the blade might fit! Mounting the blade in the rotary mower deck would also help to keep it off the ground. We had too many stones to use a nice blade like that, totally out in the open. Thanks again for posting!
When I was a boy in the late 1960s and thru the mid 70s my dad had one of these gravely walk behinds. That thing would drag me all over the garden when I rotary plowed and tilled with it. I never have seen one of these saw blade attachments. Can you imagine trying to sell something that today with all our safety regulations. That thing looks scary dangerous.
Did you find the actual saw attachment or use the brush mower mount? I'm getting an extra brush mower, need to do some troublesome clearing and think this is the way to go.
@Farmuser1 I will have to go out and look but i had to make a spacer for it to fit the 7/8 Shaft on the Model 106 mower drive i will get the brand/model to you in a little bit
I bought that blade for $99 Dollars on ebay. I have also hit a few rocks and have been very lucky! Instead of destroying the carbide blade tips it cut gouges in the rocks hahaa. I have cut through three inch trees not problem before to.
I would like to see you use it on some mesquite trees...lol. What happens when you hook into a 3 inch diameter tree and it snakes and blade shrapnel is all over the place? What about hitting a rock? I bet that blade cost $400.

Fucking terrifying! I’ll bust out the chainsaw, no thanks!
okay.
I expected to see Freddy Kruger driving that thing.
I think that the 30" brush hog could have handled this.

That attachment is the greatest thing since... well, sliced bread :~)
Yah it is very fun to run but can get a little scary when the blade digs into a dead stump, rips it out of the ground and throws it 10 feet
Apparently, feet are redundant these days. That's why he's using that thing without a guard.... =S
Good video...Very Cool machine. Does that Flip into the upright position and mount as a Cordwood saw like the David Bradley Model ?
I've got 2 of these blades, but neither of them have the carbon tips, where'd you come across that? Great video.

@cgwry7 haha! It makes clearing land so much easier! I really think the money was worth it!
I'd be far more worried one of my dogs would get goofy and I'd never get over it... no thanks, this model is not for me but thanks for the video.
I’d put that on my commercial 10
