I loved the beatles as a kid, had a beatle haircut I shook it at the cinema when I saw A Hard Days Night and Paul was my favourite. I collected beatle cards, free with bubble gum which came in a card shaped flat packet. I had a tartan beatle bag on my shoulder., adorned with fancy key rings like put a tiger in your tank ones. We wold cry with pangs of love for these stars. I got very jealous of his girlfriends like Jane Asher! It is a different world without John and George. It cannot be easy for Paul now, especially after his losses of loved ones. I still love him but in a more mellow way.

I def agree Linda was the love of his life! Least he met Nancy though eventually.who seems a great match! Of course his Beatles mates passed John now George…..are also subsequent forms of love ( mates friendship ) and young Paul was in awe of Lennons confidence)
John and Paul were the heartbeat - wrote most of the songs.
Wild Life is my favorite Paul solo lp. It has aged very well. Those that rediscover it understand.
