loving your reactions! the story behind this song. a kid claimed that the lead singer jumped off stage and beat him up. there was no evidence or witnesses to this, the kids father then filed a lawsuit against Phil Anselmo(lead singer) on a phone call with Pantera's manager, the kids father said he wanted 5 minutes alone with Anselmo, the manager replied "i doubt you do" (Phil was kind of a badass) and the call was hung up. this song was written about that guy.
I never comment on these, but had to say, you rock homey. I'm a dallas native and grew up in the 90s when Pantera reign on Dallas-Fort Worth was going on. These boys would drink and be rowdy on a street called deep ellum at a bar called Renos. Good stuff
Miss Pantroy soooooooo much. Love the camera angle on the squeeeeel and bend at the end of the solo. Best band ever was, ever will be. RIP Vinnie and Dime🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
one of the tricks that dimebad and rex use to do was stuff styrofoam in the cavities of the their guitars so when they do the abrupt stops there was no resonance from their instruments
TMRN got Rocked by The Almighty sounds of Pantera = Instant Sub, Instant Like, and an Instant Fan..! Keep up the great work, looking forward to your nxt vid..!
Brotha...I love watching you trying to fight the funk...HAHAH! You tried to reserve thd stand up groove along and air guitar and you just couldn't 🤘🤣 the "Hey!"s you do 🤣. Great video man, I love this shit 😄
Love the respect and the reactions! Like you I'm of the complexion that gets no protection 🌚, and these videos literally represent something I always knew would happen, becuase Metal like all other great music was never about race or color. I, must also acknowledge that metal, like golden age rap wasn't marketed to anyone in particular. A strategy that worked so much better than the forced funnels of today's music industry. Music 30 years ago was simply there for anyone to gravitate towards it! Growing up and with Rockstar dreams of my own, at age 12 with Judas Priest Screaming for Vengeance on my record player, metal and me formed an unbreakable bond, still alive and well today at 48. Fortunately, for me. I experienced all of those album releases from Pantera since the 1990 release of Cowboys from Hell! They were a very special and musically gifted band indeed! On a more personal note being from the DFW region( Dallas Ft Worth area for those unfamiliar.) Pantera was based out of Arlington Texas, which is considered a suburb of the DFW areas. During a period when Pantera as a band was in a serious limbo period, I managed to cross paths, and shake hands with the real life brothers at two different Dallas Stars games. Guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbot and brother, drummer Vinnie Paul Abbot. They were attending Dallas Stars games and I just so happened to work at the arena during that timeframe. Both have since passed on, (if you were not aware.) Dime was actually shot and killed by a concert goer on stage in '04 and Vinnie died of a heart attack in 2018. So, for me those two impromptu encounters I'll remember forever! Felt like losing family, but thankfully, the music and the memories live on forever. Again, love the videos and man trust me to have lived the experience of being present as Pantera and countless other great bands evolved, was a true pleasure. They came and they rocked so hard. Videos like yours show respect and additional affirmation that all that noise was indeed as special as dedicated Metal music fans always knew it was. One more thing... Your reactions to both Dime and Vinnie are seriously on point, cuz what they did as musicians was incredible! Absolutely two of the baddest mofo's to ever do it... And they were actually blood brothers! Gets no 🤟 better 🤟 than that! RIP to those Abbot Boys Forever!
Pantera - The Art of Shredding... and if you want you can do the 1990's live version (foundation forums). Nobody has ever done that version I think and it kicks ass
They made this song because some fool tried to sue the lead singer for an assault "that never happened" and the father of the supposed " victim" asked for 5 minutes alone with him!
@Natemares Phil told the story otherwise: the father told their manager, he want's 5 minutes alone with that "Phil Anselmo guy" and the manager only said "No, you wouldn't."
I said it before and I'll say it again your ad libs and dimebag's riffs go so well together. Someone needs to make a mix of Pantera with your ad libs in there. Shit gets me hyped lol. Keep it up! If you do Mudvayne again can you try "Under My Skin" And for Slipknot could you maybe try "Gematria"
I've been watching your reactions for quite a while and all seem very good and genuine. You need to check out the drum play through of Slaughter to Prevails - Demolisher. You accuse him of a third arm... You can see it in that video.
careful dude , that Pantera will grow on you . next thing you turn around and you're hitting the back button.playing same song twice. just cause it rialsyou up 😀😀😀😀😀😀🤘🤘😎😎✌✌

Beautiful reaction. Take the stickers off you hat. That kind of consumerism is everything that bands like Pantera are against, lol. Fucking stickers on your hat.. at 40+ years of age. C'mon man.
You will ALWAYS groove to a Pantera track, my man. Miss this band
Lol... you know that's 💯 👌... peace and love always ✌
More like miss Dimebag
CFH
Pantera is timeless. Still to this day.. I can play it, and play it loud and get amped!
I used to test my car speakers daily to this album during my senior year of high school.
Same.
Thanks cool 😎 thanks for watching and your comment... peace and love always ✌
I use to test and "blow up" car speakers with this album in college...
Slaughtered
You will never forget and regret about this ton of destructions in form the music.
This request needs more likes.
Pantera will always be "that band" for me. The part of me that formed along with my experience with this band is still a strong part of me today.
the "headbutt some broken glass" riff is one of my favorite pantera riffs, really wish they used it more in the song
The song is crazy as hell, and the story behind it is even better.
Floods is one that definitely deserves a listen. One of Dimes best songs
Gnarly and absolutely relentless. I miss Pantera. I miss the 90s...
Lol! The man had to get up out of his chair for this one.... I can be sitting in a chair and sweat when I play this song. Pantera 4 LIFE baby \m/
loving your reactions!

A little blues, a little funk, and a lot of metal attitude! God bless Dime ,Vinnie Rex and Phil!
this dude standing up when the shit hits is the ultimate seal of approval

PANTERA... MOUTH OF WAR🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Long Live Pantera!!🤘🤘
one of the tricks that dimebad and rex use to do was stuff styrofoam in the cavities of the their guitars so when they do the abrupt stops there was no resonance from their instruments
Have always loved this vid with the unique go-pro style view of the tension on the strings as they play.
