I got to see Pantera twice back I think he 90s, one was an outdoor amphitheater (nowhere near the size of this, but 15k-ish) and again in a 5000 seat theater, the theater show was soooo intense! I remember the pit took up at least a third of the floor and me wearing a white t-shirt slipped and fell on the ground, my shirt was stained red from the blood on the floor on every surface that touched it.. f-ing CRAZY!

( Love George Clinton and Bootsy.) Cool thing about growing up in the 70s was being exposed to a plethora of music styles. Now, my music has come full circle and I have a heavy metal, funk vibe. Amazingly Dime didn't start playing guitar until age 13 or 14, and NEVER took a single guitar lesson..Self taught. Another thing many people don't take into account is that most guitarists "improvise" much of their solos, but dime composes the entire solo and plays them note for note the same every time. He was one of the best, of any genre..RIP
