At 9:46 "We're gonna need a leg, an arm..." Chris just admitted that front corner will cost an arm and a leg!! I'll get my coat!. Seriously, that will make a great car for someone.
Well done on this one guys, I am sure you will make a beautiful car for some lucky owner. The auction house should be ashamed as if this had been bought by an ordinary car person this could have been a total disaster. I think you guys should start your own car auction business, you know cars inside out and seem very honest, I think you could do well especially with your already respected on line business!
This will be another cracking few videos sorting this one out, can't wait. Rob, you said you've bought another couple of cars too, plenty of content to come then. This channel deserves to get to 500k subs, and it will. I've been watching since before Chris wanted to be on camera, but since he has, what a difference he's made. Absolutely brilliant content every time, keep doing what you're doing lads. 👏
I used to work close to a well known UK salvage yard. The way they moved cars around was crazy, I reckon the drivers door was damaged with a fork lift. They just didn't care.
Pure entertainment. You both have the attitude of “lets just get on with it and do our best job”. You clearly love what you both do and it shows in your videos. The Ugly duckling will turn into a beautiful Blue swan 💪👌👍🏻
Well done lads, Old school honesty, earn by hard graft and not cheating unlike some others ! Such a likeable pair I really enjoy your videos and Chris laid-back cool as a cucumber
Rob and Chris, Please never retire. Great fun the positive interactions between you even when some lying cheat has tried stitch you up. 10/10. Old school what the motor trade used to be like, I hope this one is a success.
Always seems like these salvage yards are doing a lot of covering up these days good thing is that you guys are always completely honest & show all damage
its called maximizing profit, i stopped using eBay for similar reasons sellers covering things and sending items not as described, thankfully eBay have the buyer protection in place, but with these auctions its different and frustrating.
Great video lads! Always wanted to repair/sell cars after watching you two, I finally took the gamble and bought one on co part! Description said runs and drives got it delivered and the head gasket was gone 😢now I have my first head gasket under my belt and as of today the car runs sweet as a nut! MOT on Friday and Will be up for sale. Many thanks for being an inspiration wouldn’t have took the gamble if it wasn’t for you two!
You hit the nail on the head Rob very few honest folk left in the salvage game, thankfully you and Chris show how honest trading and repairing should be done, the rest are just quick bucks Dick Turpins 😂
They are good at taking the pictures I wrote a Focus off a few years ago. In the photos, the blown seat air bags were conveniently covered by the seat belts
I had a four year old 323i straight six E30 back when my children were very young. The engine was utterly smooth and quite superbly quiet. Still one of the best engines I’ve ever had almost over the last forty years and thirty odd cars…
With 45 thousand on the clock you have got a reasonable car. It would have been a really nice car if it was described correctly. Having said that I know you two will make it look really nice once again. A good honest video from two honest Gentlemen, not many left now it seems which is quite sad. 👍👍
One of my old cars went on copart after was written off ,pictures showed quarter of tank I filled it up day of crash and all 4 wheels were different cos had new tyres all round must have some right crooks working for them
That previous owner has been a panel beater not long enough, Rob. 🙈😁 You two are Lone Rangers in a world of cowboys. At least the Beemer ended up with the right guys. 👍👍
Nice model Rob and just the right time of year for it. Hopefully you will at least break even or possibly get a little drink out of it! I think you already know this is my favourite channel 🙏👍
Hello Rob and Chris,(always so laid-back and chilled out!!) what a surprise to see the car moving about on four wheels and the engine sounds great! Now you have the parts needed to get this car turned around and sorted. Best wishes from Lincolnshire
Listening to the engine!!!!!!! You couldn't hear it, it's so bloody smooth. You guys will simply throw some of that magic Rob&Chris dust it it will be another beauty.
It’ll turn out fine with you guys sorting it. I cringed tho when Rob held those two jumper leads in one hand when I assume the other ends were still connected to the battery in the van. 😱
Wish you lived closer to me. Very honest and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I took a car to a youtuber, he was suppose to change a turbo and after he did the car wouldn't start. and he wouldn't take any responsibility for it saying it was a pre-existing fault when i know it wasnt and even charged me to try fix a fault and in the end he didnt even fix the fault he caused and i had to end up scrapping the car. I also paid a four figure sum and wasn't offered any refund.
Love the way you guys work together. Yeah, it turns out to be a basket case, but you just go on and move forward, and absolutely nothing go on unseen. It's so lovely to see, that know-how, craftmanship and an eye for details get the finish back in everything you do. Keep up that kind of work. In the end it pays of. I’ve had two cars from Copart, both disasters. C5 V6 diesel, I’d spoken to the previous owner and knew the damage. Suspension on delivery was buggered and it had to be rebuilt at £1500 cost. 6:27 So it was that place beginning with C, I got caught out with a lovely clean BMW 520D F10 which had a slight engine loom fire, the loom was the least of the problems.
