Woolpower is a Swedish company that makes great base layers. While these are not durable outwear, they make for great insulating base layer with incredible per weight performance in cold conditions.

I plan on buying woolpower 200 long sleeve and a woolpower 400 turtleneck to go underneath my WeatherWool anorak lol. I think somedays I'll do without the 400.. but for really cold days i'll put the 400 on. It is rather expensive, but if it's quality i'll buy it. I'm not quite sure how abrasion resistant my WeatherWool anorak is so I'm considering putting on a very light outer shell overtop of it while I work.

I don’t think the Weatherwool needs help per se, but I’ll tell you I don’t beat mine up unnecessarily just because it’s expensive and very nice.
