The 2023 Nissan Z Is A GLORIOUS Return To Form

- The production 2023 Nissan Z debuted on August 17, 2021, on Nissan's UA-cam channel. Its lineup was even more streamlined than the 370Z’s. At just under $41,000, the Sport served as the RZ34’s entry point. Above this was the Performance grade at about $51,000.
While it does command a premium, the model does add a fair bit to the car. It included a mechanical LSD, unique 19-inch wheels, aluminum pedals, and Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires. Last but certainly not least was the Proto Spec. It was made as a tribute to the prototype that debuted the year prior. Fittingly, American allocation was limited to just 240 units.
It added exclusive yellow paint and brake calipers, bronze-colored wheels, leather seats with yellow accents, and Proto-spec interior stitching. This grade was priced at about $54,000. Prices for all trim levels were the same for both manual and automatic models.

I honestly really love the design of this car. It's one of the few that still looks modern but it's not trying too hard.
I strongly agree. I love all the Zs for different reasons but the new Z looks best exterior wise for sure imo
Yep agreed, especially with modernizing the best looking headlights and taillights from classic models! In a future refresh I can see them calming down the grill area though.
The new Z made me realize how cool an S30 Z is, and its markup meant i went back and bought a 74' 260z.
Absolutely underrated channel! Thank you for this video and all the research and time you put into this.
Much appreciated!
The best z report in UA-cam. Thank you very much
Much appreciated
I’d love to see an in-depth video on Japanese Touring Car racing like JGTC/JTCC. I think it’s a dramatically undercovered phenomenon in motorsports
Or even just a video on Kunimitsu Takahashi would be wonderful!
I'll definitely look into this. Thank you!
I love this video so much.
That means a lot. Thank you.
@@Barchetta Well deserved.
Great video. That customised proto bumper is gorgeous, the car looks much better with it
I agree...
The reworked grill at the 16:50 mark was absolutely necessary. The original giant rectangle with its far too subtle upper and lower designs just simply looked like someone forgot to finish installing parts at final assembly. The rest of the design is gorgeous. I owned a 240Z and a 280ZX, so I’m partial to the original silhouettes. Great video. Happy Hew Year! 👍👍👍
Ohh shit i just saw that that makes it look MUCH better, the old grill was so fuglyyyyyy
I will never understand that gaping rectangle... weird. Otherwise a great-looking car!
I completely disagree about the grill and looks in general, and the bar would destroy its simplicity. Its elegant, yet sharp, not too many sharp or curved lines, and pragmatically beautiful. My opinion is it looks better than any other Z car, and I love them all for different reasons really.
I love the grill as is, as well. I think its beautiful. I bought a sport in gun metallic.
Another excellent design analysis. Thank you.😊
Excellent take as per usual. Thanks!
Looking forward to more...❤❤❤
If you Axe me, I think they have come up with a winning Formoola! Love that twin turbo three Litter engine.
I adore the new Z! It's too bad that new cars are all so expensive these days though... maybe I'll have one in a decade.
in order to sustain maximum performance - what is the best type & size tires to run on the 2023 nissan Z performance?
I instinctively blurted out Fatlady Z when I saw the SUV. Please Nissan don't do it
Love that Nissan brought back a turbo Z, but it is on a 20+ chassis and a 10yr old engine. With the combustible engines going the way of the dodo, let's hope that these auto companies will continue providing us with great fast sports cars with good turbo engines and great chassis's before it's to late...
Please make a video on tata motors
At the end of the day can anyone actually name a non Japanese maker that produces a manual back to basics sportscar?
No thanks ill take the NA 370z with an interior swap over the new Z. The 370z has such a stunning design. It has tremendous road presence. I’m sure it’s much more nibble too
Gotta love a nibble car!
the new ones front looks ugly imho, like who the fuck thought giving it a big square on the front was a good idea
370Z was beautiful
this one not so much
