Superbly put together. I love your car overviews, maybe you could consider covering the Lexus GS. It has a really coveted history and all the different generations have a unique feel.
Thought that the 2005 Mustang was better than the SN95 that came before it but was nothing really spectacular. Ford did a great job updating the S197 for the 2010 refresh though, which I believe is still the best looking 'Stang.
Retro/modern design is fine for a limited edition homage to a past classic, but not for a mainstream model. It's better to create new progressive designs, new great looking designs.
In my opinion the VW bug was a terrible vehicle, rusted like hell, and made a sound you didn’t wanna hear, the service ability shit. Still one liked it to be around,, like keeping some friends puppy dog for a day.. Eventually you hand it back . People bought cause it usually didn’t cost a fortune and like most cars from those days you or your neighbor could repair it, cars were a social platform. The “new bug” was only good in the showroom, for people in general it missed the whole point,, price and function. The Mustang 65-68 is forever young, needs no explanation but change that and it’ll loose. The GT40 was an all out race car winning the most glorious race title of all in a time when glorious people smoked cigarettes and the world felt new. The “new” GT40 is a car that can’t really race, can’t even reach the next gas station. Sure looks very nice. Some day even these cars may turn icons. Maybe that why most of them are parked up under cover somewhere ,,waiting. Credit to Ford that after all go for these somewhat crazy projects, they can shake hands with those who created Hellcat and Demon. I otherwise despise what Detroit big corporate is today. You have destroyed the rolling joy with ugly and bad quality cars ..Managers.. get a job on wall street and die for fine mustard on a Trump golf course.
