The VehiCross concept is still one of my favorite SUVs. I wish that the production had the same look inside and out.

Im a sucker for 3 door hatchbacks/SUVs, plastic cladding, and unique vehicles. Vehi-Cross is Vehi-Awesome.

Rarely do I learn this much car stuff about such recent models as I did in this film... vehicle after vehicle that I never knew existed! Well done.

There was a reason why I didn't mind the Nissan juke as much.

Just found your channel the other day. Great documentaries, and this one about the VehiCROSS designer will be very cool. Maybe make one about the Aztek 😄

I was a Jeep fan my whole life. From a 1981 heavily modified CJ-5 to a 2005 TJ rubicon and had to have the 4-door in 2007. Realizing it’s didn’t feel like a jeep I went back to a 2-door in 2009. The last one was a 2015 JK.
Moab Easter jeep safari was my vacation for 15 years.
With that being said I always wanted a
VehiCross 2-door as my daily driver. I had heard they were very capable and reliable. Plus it was the BEST LOOKING BY FAR.
Thanks for the video it was fun.

Fantastic video. This designer is incredibly creative and enjoyed his history. My Isuzu is like a tank and although it's almost 24 years old,It's been a great friend. A 370z would also make a great friend. Love this new to me channel.

So today I was looking through the spy kids behind the scenes dvd, they included a modified version of the axiom concept in the movie, but the vehi cross convertible concept I can see it in the behind the scenes footage , but it looks like it never made it to the final cut of the film.

That is one of THE BEST ELECTRIC SPORTSCAR DESIGNS I'VE SEEN IN YEARS!!!
    Actually... 🤔 ...tell the
    the truth... IT'S ONE OF
    THE BEST SPORTSCAR
    DESIGNS OF RECENT
    YEARS PERIOD!!!
Sigh... 🙄 ...no doubt we won't be seeing this beauty as an affordable product... 😏 ...unless a mainstream company falls in love with it and gets some sort of licence/permission to use the design.
    😊 Oh well. One can
    always dream...

So, I'm 47. That may help give my story a little more context possibly. Point is we were young. My highschool sweetheart and I had just gotten married, and found out we were going to have a baby, at nearly exactly 40 weeks after our wedding lmao. I'm legally blind, so didn't own a car. My wife had a Mercury Capri. They were actually really cool little cars too. But not very conducive for a fresh new family. We ended up at a Mitsubushi dealer, that also had these things. My wife really liked her little, unique, and..... cute... cars, her opinion, not mine. That being said, I did like it. We had good credit, had a year earlier bought our house, and our debt to income was good "right that second, not so much later lol" so we could get pretty much whatever we wanted in the sub 25k market. She wanted this guy. I did some research on AOL. Yup, I went there, and found out the history you're explaining here. I could see all the plastic. And, I didn't realize the tidbit about the ceramic molds, but I promise you, I did not like the way the panels felt on that car. My opinion on the lines in the door panels "especially at the time" was that they were there to add structural regidity to the panels. That was the largest uninterrupted sheet metal on the car, and those panels were shockingly thin. I mean, you could apply very light pressure pretty much anywhere, and feel it give in. Oddly, the plastic panels felt way more ridgid than the metal ones. I did like the car, and I would've been down to own it. I just felt uncomfortable with the company's reputation to that point, and the fact that there was I think this, and a rebadged Honda "much better choice for an isuzu imo" and a little truck i think. I just saw the writing on the wall, and felt that this car would be needing a lot of warranty work in its future, and there'd be no Isuzi here to bitch at lol. Eventually I was wondering around the lot, and ran across a used car. That looked like a catfish, so the wife would love it. Was a 96 Taurus, with 2100 miles on it, WOW right? Good part? This little badge, AAAALL over it lol. It said "SHO" later I'd say that meant "Should've Held Onto" lol

Oh yes, always loved the Vehicross. Such a fun-looking little bounce mobile.
The Juke? Not so much. I think it's hideous.
