Minion Files AKA a Guide to Woodrow’s Summons and Friends: Part One Us (Intellect Devourer) (1:29): This boisterous brain came to the rescue when Woodrow’s journey began, massacring the villainous imps who dared to threaten our “hero”. Its file will be updated in the second chapter. Scratch (Dog) (5:10): While he was indisputably a heinous villain, it appears that Woodrow had a soft spot for dogs, as he recruited the best boy in all the realms as his familiar, though he often turned out to be a very disposable one. Luna (Moonbeam) (5:59): Arguably Woodrow’s most dependable ally, Luna was with him to the bitter end, and there is rarely a fight in which she wasn’t summoned on top of some poor sod. Woodrow loved his new friend, even naming her, and no one had the heart to tell him she wasn’t actually sentient. Richard Ball-duran (Flaming Sphere) (9:19): Known as “Dick Balls” for short, the ever-neglected and overlooked Richard proved more trouble than he was worth. He was constantly belittled and verbally abused by his master, and frankly, some historians have argued that he deserved it. He was eventually forcefully retired, with Luna essentially replacing him for good. One suspects the blistering ball spent the rest of his days plotting revenge. Lump the Enlightened (Ogre) (12:01): This intellectual ogre fancied himself a genius but proved to be not as wily as Woodrow. After promising them gold in exchange for dealing with some other Druids, Woodrow ended up killing the ogres before they could demand payment. Connor (Zombie) (20:59): The late husband of Mayrina made quite the reliable servant. As he could be summoned again and again with no cost he often found himself being used as bait or as a distraction for a mighty boss. Sovereign Glut (Myconoid) (21:35): More of a partner than a minion, this mushroom menace was, to tell you the truth, probably a superior necromancer to Woodrow, though the Druidic Drow would never admit it. Bone Waltman (Skeleton) (21:42): Woodrow often had a bone to pick with his foes and so would pick a good bone to make into this skeletal sharpshooter. Mr, Waltman would later join a band, the great, but surprisingly controversial “Bonez 2 Men” who will be discussed in the next part. Rottrigo (Zombie) (23:03): While Rottrigo was ultimately overshadowed by Connor and Waltman, he was occasionally summoned from the dead whenever Woodrow didn’t feel bones were cutting it. Information on Rottrigo is sadly lacking as, like Richard, he was effectively retired once Woodrow tired of him.
Spore Druid, as underrated as it is, is my absolute favorite subclass in the game. Still a bummer they don't allow us to raise things like Glut using Animating Spores, but I still can't wait to see your little blighted army.
the only time i see people taking spore druid in this game is on top of fighter levels for extra melee damage. which is a shame because it's legitimately good all on its own!
@@TheDeerInTheHeadlighSlap it on 2 levels of dual wielding paladin and you really have a bangin build. 10 levels of temp hp + baladin (full caster paladin) levels of smites. Its a beautiful thing
I've always had the narrative in my head that all these runs happen sorta simultaneously with all the events just being slightly offset... ofc they can't all defeat the nether brain buts it's so fun to imagine all the different characters sprinting around the lower city getting up to different hyjinks while never even knowing each other exist.
I love spore druid, you can even place and break your potions with halo of spores, so you basically use them as a reaction by standing in their puddles
Really enjoy your narration and self-deprecating flavor. Your collab with Morgana was the first one I watched, so consider yourself having a new fan now!
Honestly the most amazing thing about your videos is your ability to tell powerful, compelling stories every single video. The end of Lae'zel's short feature in each run always makes me 💀💀💀💀💀
Currently in a Spore Druid run, it's something I havent tried and it's really fun. Using Gale as a necromancer for my companion and we absolutely hog the turn order (the run is with a friend)
Funfact: The bonus fire damage from torches actually carries over when you use shilleleigh on them, making them 1d8 + 1d4 Light Weapons that use Wisdom, which is extremely strong before you get level five
Oh man I'm gunna be real with you I didn't realize cold damage also stopped it, I never got around to testing that damage type and the list I found online didn't mention it 😭
i was just gonna say you finally uploaded but then i realized i have not noticed bg3 for months and you do in fact upload more than twice a year (for now)
Just one bit tip.. play first level cleric any subclass with heavy armor, cast sanctuary on self, since summons and damage over time like moonbean and your summons arent considering "dealing damage" you dont brake sanctuary
Please next time add "hoo hee hee" sound for falling laezel so I don't have to do it in my head. Great vid, I'm watching all acts 1 cuz I myself am still in act 2.
hoping with the new patch we'll see more of these videos with Honour Mode difficulty - your Honour Mode run was, by far, my favourite run you've done so far despite the cookie cutter build
Ive always been too scared to run spore druid cuz of all the follower turns to control, same as necromancer wizard. Video was fun and looking forward to the continuation.
In my oppinion you would be totally allowed to respec your character to a warlock/sorcerer just to get shovel as another companion before respecing back to druid with the same build. Playing without shovel is almost impossible for me at this point.
Kinda wish you'd have gone for moon druid since much of spore druid's playstyle overlaps with nexromancy wizard and all of the other wizard subclasses play the same
its still upsetting the actual necromancy spells to summon the dead are only unlocked takes so long to unlock by then I lose my drive to play a necromancy druid/wizard Wish we had something to summon early game that was weak and pathetic but it still felt like you were a necromancy wizard thatll get better overtime but until then its just necrotic spells until the end of act 1

Good lord this is amazing
Justice for Richard! 😭 They were done dirty!

To be honest, you can't make spore servants like Glut in original dnd, it would be too op
the only time i see people taking spore druid in this game is on top of fighter levels for extra melee damage. which is a shame because it's legitimately good all on its own!
there is a mod that allows you to do that but i guess it's a mod so it's not really what u want
@@TheDeerInTheHeadligh it's because they don't get extra attack

Loved the narration Matt. The video is paced really well it was really nice to see act 1 in detail like that for a druid
Can't wait to see your druid run in video form too!
Very useful for people, say, running a 4 druid party, eh?
Can't wait for the next duo run... There's gonna be another yeah?
guys just kiss already
Barcus warms up to you gradually over the game. He's the trope "good doesn't mean nice" and "defrosting the ice queen"
Yeah but… YEET

Yeah, with those stats, I can believe he's got that third son energy.
I love spore druid, you can even place and break your potions with halo of spores, so you basically use them as a reaction by standing in their puddles
When the first sentence is a (presumed) Homeland/Drizzt reference, you knows it’s going to be a good video. Amazing content as always
picking up the blood of lathander only to toss it aside cause it's too shiny is peak role play

Amazing as always cant wait for your wizard run
Love the vhannel looking forward to watching the run unfold

Been waiting for this one! Love the vids!
Finally, an entertaining druid run
Another awesome video man super glad I was able to come in and catch the finale, during stream cant wait to watch it all over again!
I like you Trueant, theres not flashy edits just sheer charisma, keep it up!
you know how long i've been waiting for this
Been waiting for this!
At 19:13, you forgot that cold also stops reanimation. Also, really great video, I tried to be there for as many of the streams as I could.
Oh man I'm gunna be real with you I didn't realize cold damage also stopped it, I never got around to testing that damage type and the list I found online didn't mention it 😭
This is a great series, keen for part 2 ❤

Bro never misses. Genuinely one of my favourite creators rn.

Have been waiting weeks for this one to start let’s see how my favorite class is played
hoping with the new patch we'll see more of these videos with Honour Mode difficulty - your Honour Mode run was, by far, my favourite run you've done so far despite the cookie cutter build
IVE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS VIDEO
Ive always been too scared to run spore druid cuz of all the follower turns to control, same as necromancer wizard. Video was fun and looking forward to the continuation.
Me when I’m watching thetruant do a lone wolf spore Druid in of the game baldurs gate three on tactician difficulty
What's this? Someone not playing a moon druid? Alright funny hamster man, you have my attention
Honestly would love to see this for evey class Surprise more UA-camrs haven't done this
That's the plan for me yeah!
In my oppinion you would be totally allowed to respec your character to a warlock/sorcerer just to get shovel as another companion before respecing back to druid with the same build. Playing without shovel is almost impossible for me at this point.
YAYYYY NEW EPISODE YIPPEEEEE
So excited for this! Been busy with work so this is great to come back to. Thanks for making my Saturday morning brother ❤
I could listen to you rhyme for hours
But the rhymes you produce are far from all your superpowers
I love your videos so much ❤

my day was not so good and then theTruant posted
Ayoo, the video dropped!
Finally, Shrooman
Act 3's Sporekeeper Armor ( think that's what it's called) will be amazing for this build
A shame it comes so late in the game
All hail Richard Ballduran, the true lord of murder!
young sheldon be like, Bazinga
Connor, the Undead sent by Feyberlife
Kinda wish you'd have gone for moon druid since much of spore druid's playstyle overlaps with nexromancy wizard and all of the other wizard subclasses play the same
YEAAAAAAA
I hope richard gets a redemption arc in Act 2
*Halo Reach intensifies*
I refuse to believe Nere deserves the muscular feat
"Lonewolf Druid" - *proceeds to summon a whole camps worth of guys* ...hmmmmm
Me when I beat bg3 act one as a spore Druid in tactician mode
Hello Saturn
#BuffContagion It’s my favorite spell
baller's game 3
Holy fuck I missed SOOOOO much in act 1
why let Arabella die when she can give ya boy "Shadow Entangle" ?
its still upsetting the actual necromancy spells to summon the dead are only unlocked takes so long to unlock by then I lose my drive to play a necromancy druid/wizard
Wish we had something to summon early game that was weak and pathetic but it still felt like you were a necromancy wizard thatll get better overtime

What about a run as John Constantine his a sorcerer with some in roge
Don’t think I’ve ever seen someone use charm person and have it be useful 😂
What karmic dice? Huh? What did you accidentally leave it on from a different run for 2/3rds of the game? That would be embarrassing.
It wasn't even a different run I just got a new computer and forgot it comes on as default 😭 (horrible default option btw)
Why the fk is flaming sphere a concentration spell
Why tactician instead of honor? Mostly just like the legendary actions
Nettie racial profiling us is just the norm in this game lol
