Beautiful absolutely beautiful ride, thank you, haven't been on as nice a ride since 50 years ago on my 1964 Triumph 500 through the forests of Ben Lomond to the beach in Santa Cruz Ca. Thank you again. Nice bike too by the way, its got good power!
Just watched this again what fantastic roads and countryside the sound of this bike is awesome don't understand why these bikes weren't as popular as the other makes. to me they are just as good great video 👍
@@atlasvantech hi I've seen a matchless g12 1959 for sale its in Excellent condition engine rebuilt but just 70 miles put on since rebuild been dry stored wants £4995 for it does that sound about right for one of these bikes sorry to bother you with such a question regards mick
@@shingerz Not at all Mick, Difficult to know. If it's in cracking condition it should be fine at that. I'm considering selling on mine as a new project has presented itself. I need £6000 for my G12, but it has all the Craven Luggage and crash bars on it (videoed). Let me know if you're interested! Regards. Malcolm.
wow ! All that great care you took on the rebuild has paid off...the engine sounds perfect. How did you learn your engineering skills ? Love that road too. Don't recall seeing another vehicle

That is a work of art, looks completely original except maybe the pipes ?
Glad you enjoyed. She's a very original bike. If not original, I believe the pipes and megaphones are excellent replicas!

Never grow up Auld Teuchter, stay young and enjoy a blat through the pines on yer bike!
i have a 1962 g12 , are the pistons different to the earlier g12s ?
They are. they are completely flat with cut outs for the valve clearances. I think there was a difference in the cylinder head too!
