I'll see if I can think about applying the instructions as I'm playing, to not just feel or hear it. That Cordoba sounds clean and bright even through headphones on my Android.

watch the first part. Slow the video down about 90% to figure out which fingers he uses, then once you figured that out slow the tempo down again by another 90% and start practicing ;)
