Thank you for 1500 subs! 🎸🔥💪🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 While there are definitely some like this, nearly all of the flamenco musicians I met when I was in Spain were some of the nicest people ever. If you get a chance to go when the world opens up you will not regret it. In the meantime I am happy to work with you via skype/zoom!
OK this is the best video aka ''advertisement'' for flamenco classes i ever saw in my life. That dark teacher reminds me on my teacher of blues and jazz guitar ☺, different genre but attitude was like that. When i watch your right hand it's scary, you honestly are brutal good flamenco player. I will share some or your videos for sure.
HILARIOUS! Reminds me of my piano teacher, Mrs. Smiley. She had a red pencil that was the source of my nightmares as a child. It’s a wonder I still play piano. 60 years and still going!!
I am not sure a separate course would be necessary, most of the techniques are easily transferred to bass, for example picado is basically 50 percent of bass playing. Thumb techniques like alzapua carry over into double thumbing on bass too
That was pretty funny! Question - I'm trying to learn the basic techniques on a steel string - I think it's much more difficult this way... Am I right or wrong about that? Gracias.
@@alexiosanest Dear Alexios, this video inspired me to take actual guitar lessons after being an autodidact for several instruments for the last 20 years. I can't explain how thankful I am for the kind of inspiration you were with this fun sketch. You are a great man. Thank you.
This is so funny!! Nice playing and acting, btw! The intimidation this Flamenco guitar teacher gives off is nothing compared to a Bailaora (flamenco dancer)..they will yell at you. Make you feel insignificant and irrelevant if you don't stay in compas, watch for their cues and end in sync. I'm just joking....or maybe not! Lol! Thanks for posting, I really enjoyed this video.
This could, of course, be titled "How to scare a beginner with Barrios & Albéniz" Oh & calling a Miguel Rodriguez guitar "not very good" is sacrilege. Lol Great video, though.
I think 'the student' has given up to play guitar forever. Flamenco seems to be magical, difficult, no easy way to learn. I think unless I was Spanish I am unable to play it true Spanish feelings.
The Spaniards definitely have the advantage, growing up with this music. It is an extremely difficult style to learn, but there are many great non Spanish flamenco players.
Don't end up like Peter! Learn flamenco right now with my new course: www.alexiosanest.com/spanish-guitar-essentials
I love how he absolutely sped it up.... but there are people who can absolutely play at that speed...
A Wizard squad emblem? Not that surprising 😎
What a great skit. And of course, the playing is superb!
Haha thanks a lot! 😎🎸🎸🎸
Was not expecting you to upload something like this! Keep on uploading such videos!

Did you go to Granada?
@@Mike_D_5150 yes!
@@alexiosanest I went there twice, I loved it so much.
This is about what year one feels like, and two…hilarious; it captures the intimidation factor superbly.
It never stopped feeling like that for me, you're lucky 😄
My Favorite Flemenco Teacher so far! Your content is great. Please keep it up!
Thank you! Will do!
Wonderful, sure does motivate. You're a good comedian
This video was just now recommended to me. Nicely done! Loved it. And I'm so glad to have found you.
Right on, thank you!
Genius video. Music and acting at the ultimate level. Greetings from Greece (Hellas)

Tough teachers are a nightmare at the time, but a blessing when you look back. Good for you for keeping it up!!!
Always a grain of truth in any humor.

Thanks a lot Howard, see you very soon hopefully!!!
Awesome. You should make a crossroads finale with flamenco!

An amazing guitarist and actor! Haha. This was great and fun to watch. I really need lessons. 😔
Haha thanks André!!! I don't think you need lessons, but I am always happy to share what little knowledge I have lol

This is really what it feels like to learn flamenco, even basic things like compas por buleria o solea por buleria can be a bitch to start with
The learning curve is daunting for sure, but always worth it 😊🎸

Ooh so this is what flamenco is, I get it
This was more just for fun :) If you really want to hear what flamenco is, look up Paco de Lucia, Tomatito, or Diego del Morao
Lmao this is actually pretty funny, you should make more of these! xD
Glad you enjoyed it :) Maybe it is time for part 2 lol
@@alexiosanest oh it definitely is haha, can't wait :)
I wasn't ready for 3:10 😂😂
Neither was Peter
LOL - that was funny as hell :-)
Bro souled his soul to Diablo to play them chords 😂
Can you make a flamenco for bass course? Do you teach bass players these arts?
I am not sure a separate course would be necessary, most of the techniques are easily transferred to bass, for example picado is basically 50 percent of bass playing. Thumb techniques like alzapua carry over into double thumbing on bass too
This had me in stitches 🤣. I feel so much better about my rubbish playing too.
Glad it gave you a laugh! 😄
So funny, but it's true, in the beginning it can be verry confusing, especially with the different palo's.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣subscribed !!!

He was younger every time he tells that story 🤣
Very nice and funny 😂😂😂👌👌👌🌹🌹

if you have pretty thick nails its possible, but definitely more difficult
My nails and thin and break easily! Also they are cut short so I'm using the tips of my fingers. Thanks! @@alexiosanest
Hehehehe genial mi amigo, esta súper el video jaja hasta ya me diste miedo del flamenco... saludos

If I book an online lesson, will you too teleport my guitar to spain in order to demonstrate that my guitar is not the problem?
No need, I can tell from here your guitar is not the problem. Scales for 40 hours a day, now!
Yes, sir ;-)

Yes the teacher in this vid is definitely modeled after more of a flamenco dancer's ego haha. Most flamenco guitarists are pretty chill lol
I know exactly how Peter feels! The style was not flamenco but technical.
Poor Peter!😂😂😂

It is true. You are expected to just pick up flamenco, sitting in front of a teacher. :D
