Really nicely done. I went the other way. Got a 7R with just simple mods and a Stratified tune. Awesome car, congrats.

VAG car scene is always good. Everyone looks at each others cars and gives respect. Honda scene is all about I'm better than you. It's why I stick with Nissan and VAG.

The R32/R community is even more mature than the regular VW scene as well. Get an awd VAG car and we accept you, or a 3.2 swap :) eh just come we'll accept you

Love it, one of the best MK4s out there. And yes more build covers would be sweet.
Handling mods first to out do the power. That's a true VW man, strong foundations equals success. Not rushing it as well. Dubs never go out of style, they just gain more. Restecp Aiii!

Initial build was probably $15k, and I’ve done more since then.
Do you rebuild VR6 engines?

This build is likely well north of 10k
Too much too turbo them 😂 Supercharging is a great option and slightly cheaper but they're are amazing kits for doing them

@@wero6426 This is exactly why I sold mine for an evo. With my evo I was able to make 500whp for around 3,500.
Mine was around 15k but I'm forged internals. I did it mostly at home too.
Definitely not cheap but EVOs are easy and not much of a challenge, and German cars have a better quality to them overall.

whats the stand alone ecu Tuning solution for these? abit spoilt from the JDM world
There are multiple standalone options, but this is a United Motorsports 870cc ProMaf tune on the stock ECU.

Maveric073 just a Wavetrac, steel shift fork, and a shaft shim.
I upgraded mine as well with steel shift forks. But not the rest. Do you have any more information on the rest of the items that you just described. What clutch did you go with?
I was debating between wavetrac and peliquin.
@@maveric0738 FX400 clutch with 18 lb flywheel and a fluidampr to help smoothen it. I love the Wavetrac, I researched all of them and felt that one had the advantage.

Where are the battery and the coolant reservoir? The washers reservoir? It's like engine only in there
Rosen Fotenliev battery is in the trunk, coolant res is firewall mounted and the washer res is tucked under the passenger rail
