Just got my turbo R32 project tied up last fall.. headspacer build as well, but added rod bolts and bearings to the list. Gen2 6266 and just got it on the dyno this spring, AWD mustang and it made 430/375 on 14psi and 512/455 at 19psi.. love seeing this project come along! She’s gunna be a blast
happy to see to see some VR content boyz. I like to jump the starter with no plugs and free spin to build oil pressure it tension the chains for the 1st start up.
Thanks for the update 👍,the only thing I would do is weld in a couple of light weight tubes to joint up the front crush bar ends . Giving the front a bit of nudge protection to the intercooler . Cheers
I’m watching every episode I’ve missed in the passed year you guys are awesome and I don’t even own a VW 😅 . But I enjoy the very informative videos you guys post, I got a Fiesta St, so I gotta know what these Volkswagens can produce
Thanks! and great video, i could have done with it being alot more detailed but still very informative so thank you for that. I hope you don't mind, im about to take the head off my mk5 golf r32 and have a few questions. 1. Why did you not get the head skimmed/machined flat? 2. Why did you take the cam gears off if you didn't remove the cams? 3. Did you put any new rod bearings in or ARP rod bolts? 4. What total thickness did you use for the head spacer including the gasket? 5. Do you do any heat cycles or anything to bed the new head gasket in? 6. What fuel pump are you using?
1. Getting the head skimmed unnecessarily is just ruining your chances of fixing it if there's an actual problem. That's a do if there's a problem type of thing. 2. Chains 3. No 4. We sell them on our site. Compression ratio is on there as well. 5. No 6. DW Drop in. Fine for this power level.
Hi there, Was wondering if you help me get a list of the parts needed for for the most basic turbo 2.8 vr6 build as i have one myslef and would love to turbo it but have never turbo'd a car before, cheers.
Hello frind nice to see your work 💪💪💪 I am from portugual and i am bulding a 1.8t on a golf mk2 with a g30-770, what plugs and what gapp do you recomend? Thank you very much
QUESTION!!! What software can I use to tune a MK4 Jetta 12 valve VR6? I have Eurodyne Maestro for my B5 but I don't think it works with the VR6. Any input would be greatly helpful! Thanks!
@@COMotorsports well I've also played with NefMoto and Tuner Pro. And if United Motorsports can tune the ecu, I would think I'd be able to too... How do they do it?

Yeah sounds about right with that setup. Yeah for sure, like new r32 now with proper power.
Was that on oem ecu?

This has me excited to have mine dialled in!
This is going to be insane to see on the dyno 🤩!!
Love your videos, currently building a big turbo 1.8t mk4 jetta :)
Thanks, best of luck with your project.

There's a video on the channel of it.
Glad to see I am not the only one that has that concerned look on their face on first start ups. LOL
Never gets old. lol
Makes me want mine done now
Good motivation

Hi, what spark plugs did you fit and do you have to refit all 4 nox sensors...
Great content as usual guys...👍
NGK bkr7e, bkr8e, bkr7eix or bkr8eix will do the trick
This exactly. All comes down to boost and power goals.
Where did you get the push-in adapter for the valve cover breather?
Thanks
It's stock. I pulled it out and welded to it and tapped it back in.
Hello , why you dont use loctite 3020 on head gasket , that the secret of all big turbo build !
bisou from France .
Completely unnecessary for this application.
hello how much did you reduce the RV and how thick is the cylinder head gasket wedge ?
We offer 9:1 kits.
Nice! What turbo kit did you go with? The only kit I see these days is from HPA.
Basically pieced it together and built the rest.
@@COMotorsports sweet! That's how it seems to go if want to build one today. I plan to boost my mk2 TT VR6 next year hopefully.
@@bangarng we can provide most of what's required. If you get stuck looking for something hit us up.
@@COMotorsports Sweet. Will do.
What plugs did you put in it and what gap? Just wondering as I just installed NGK BKR9EIX’s at .030 in my mkv r32t, and it seems to run pretty good.
Boost and power level play a factor. 9s are pretty cold for lower boost that these typically see.
@@COMotorsports Im pretty much the same setup as your current build. Im running 15psi on UM 550 software.
Awesome video and build 🙌. What turbo kit are you using 🤔
Was an older ATP kit that I built a bunch of stuff for.

What turbo kit is that ?
We built most of it.
What kind of power you plan to run on it? And on what fuel?
Straight 91oct no E should make 400+whp.
@@COMotorsports but yours 91 should be something like european 95RON IIRC...

Hello, how are you?
omg i hate the sound on the first start until it gets oil :D great work, build looks awesome, is that big exhaust necessary?
Big? It's 3" which we definitely recommend for this power level on this engine.
“Smells fuely”.😂
The stock ECU accidently got put back in so the first start was on stock tune...so extra fuely. lol
Should’ve gone with two OEM head gaskets instead of ripping it apart.
It is literally the same amount of work lol
