You know, at least they will always know you didnt think they were worthless.
25:05 I've watched this video so many times and even just thinking of "Yo, milk?" still makes me laugh.
you should do this again but have an ai pick random stock tickers and have chat vote over it. just to get some crazy shit no one would think of otherwise
As a Magic: The Gathering player the moment I heard "Let's invest in Hasbro" my balls shriveled. They've not been doing a good job
When it got to Hasbro, I thought of all the DnD scandals that happened
Can you please explain all the scandals?
@@placeholderdoe the dnd scandal was with the Open Gaming License (OGL). Hasbro wanted to revoke the OGL which would make 3rd party content (homebrew) belong to Hasbro, or at the very least they can take a cut of the profits. This, of course, made everyone upset. DnD beyond subscriptions were withdrawn, people started looking at different ttrpgs if it fully went into effect, even the dnd movie is now not looking good because of this. There was confirmation they won't revoke the ogl but the damage has been done
@@vdsora32 so basically the 3rd party content (that I assume made dnd the best ttrpg in so many’s eyes) was going to be either destroyed or heavily limited from growing and people were reasonably appalled
It's not the game Quality it's the profits from in-game purchases and Battle passes that make a game company profitable. Hasbro also has many Mobile games like risk, uno etc
Watching this now when NVIDIA is at 800 honestly makes me so sad that he pulled out after a year!
13:00 I love how all it took was for him to say it again with an exclamation mark and it convinced doug
21:51 I love how Davey did a “I love you” goodbye thing to Doug like how Doug says “goodbye I love you” to Parkzer,
"[I feel] fairly indifferent" really just seems to summarize Parkzer given his constant tone of voice.
Dougdoug literally not investing in gamestop and knowing what happened later on was hilariously horrible to witness
doug's mom sounds pretty normal for the person that made both doug AND davey, the two most insane men i've ever watched
This is especially funny now because if they had kept that Nvidia investment for 1 more year it would have covered all their losses and then some
It just illustrates the principal of "hold, maybe even buy when everyone else is freaking out and selling."
How is this channel so consistently entertaining and all over the place at the same time. I never watch videos this long all the way through except for the Dougdoug channel
God Davey is a national treasure and we must protect him at all cost
Of course!
Of course!
Idk man I hope he stops putting lampposts everywhere
Should do an update video on these stocks for this year
Imagine if twitch chat managed to start a multi platform meme that wound up influencing the stock market and make Doug the richest man alive. At this point I wouldn't put it past us.
You are describing the wallstreetbets subreddit, memes check, influencing the entire market check, making very very specific people rich check, everyone else losing tons of money - check check check.
Parker is like the saul goodman of real life
I'm so surprised that Nvidia, the first thing that they invested actually 10x over the past 10 months
Ahhh finally Doug gets the "I love you" treatment back from his bro, all those times he gave that to Parkzer now he knows the awkwardness of being on the recieving end
Doug/Davey interactions are always a goldmine.
If Doug kept his Nvidia stock... He is probably way richer than we think right now
Doug is slowly letting chat take control of his entire life, and I’m not sure if that’s a bad or good thing
"I let Twitch Chat file my taxes"
i would argue that it is a very bad thing considering that we're talking about the same chat that blew hours and hours of their life in the form of channel points to play a zorbees ad
Dougin 2022: Netflix and Hasbro seem like perfect picks, too bad we didn't invest MORE in them
Me in 2023: 😬😬😬
I think Doug is genuinely the most creative, funny, and talented streamer on the entire internet, and that’s saying a lot.
It's not about who wins or loses, it's about the money we lose along the way 😊
