they are designed to give more range accuracy and better groupings. when it comes to airsoft we all want more range so this is a how to video to show some of the best ways to gain this.

Nice video! Can you show me the flight path of the bb with the different types of hop?
I did the ER HOP with my custom Dmr barrel using just a vice and some metal hand files (with some precision files for deburring) and its not that scary if you're willing to spend half an hour carefully filing...I did it as I wanted to use the 7mm CNC nub in my max hop unit...not only is it working brilliantly...it also flies out to about 90meter at 450fps(368 using 0.3bbs)...I'm an engineer by trade and a tech all my own guns..but it is doable and it does have amazing results...
I recently acquired an airsoft gun when I changed the bucking I noticed the hole for the bucking in the barrel was modified to a bigger size and wondering what kind of fuckery were they trying to do. Just now find this out lol

I done the s-hop couple years back I found after a few weeks if the hop is left on the patch stays pressed in when you take the hop off.
So I removed it.
Sugru is good for making the flat nub same as the modify one but slightly softer.
I know what you mean it works well for some but not all I guess

for S hop try Sika FC11+ i have more then 2000 bb thru one and no sign of wearing. i use .4 and .48g bb

I have Krytac cbr with p* f2 Prometheus barrel with stock hopup chamber and
Vfc Avalon gen1 aeg with madbull ultimate 6.01mm inner barrel with stock hopup chamber.
What should I get bucking and nub? Should I do Flat, S, or R hop for barrel?
Do I need CNC hopup chamber? Or ok to use stock one?

Hi, any chance you can give me some advice? New to airsoft but down for teching, want to upgrade my rifs and also experiencing some problems with one.

@@webbytech3019 this is going to be a pain, lol. Lets start with my AAP-01, I'm looking to make it into a mini DMR.
1. If i remove fire the selector setting it to semi auto and it has a carbine kit on it, do you think DMR regulations would apply, 400fps etc (UK based)?
2. The AAP01 is not firing properly at present and is double loading at times, any ideas? It wasn't feeding from my WE mag at all until i backed off the hopup, it may be worth noting there is a short stroke kit on it.
3. I think I need a longer inner barrel possibly a tightbore for it to fit inside the carb kit properly, i say this as the mock suppressor is possibly compromising the accuracy. What would be best brand and length to go for, ML etc?
4. If I'm doing the barrel I may aswel do the hopup unit etc. what bits should be changed and what can I keep stock (ie like the nub and bucking), what brands you have good success with?

So here's what I don't get. 'Increasing hop' bears down on the bb to grip it harder to make the bb increase rpms and increase back spin. So if you had a very long hop up patch instead of the short aeg patch or little bump, wouldn't it be nearly impossible to reduce the hop if it's actually spinning against the patch like it's rolling across a table? If the bb is making maximum rpms/not slipping on the patch at all, doesn't this mean your hop adjustment would be tied to your velocity adjustment? At some point, there must be a limit to where more isn't better in terms of gripping the bb and increasing it's spin right?
yes
used tru hop was good hop trajectory but double feeds made it unusable bb drop straight trough feed lips
