@@nandysullivan3005 tell me more about this if you would. Do you own an x-t5? I understand it’s not the best AF but is it manageable and mainly a problem with continuous moving subjects and or is it still manageable and worth getting?
Just use my menu to solve a lot of problems getting into the menu. As far as auto focus goes, the newer lenses are the best, and you can always use limit focus.
Everything you described as a negative about the X-T5 is solved by the even better sibling X-H2 especially for video. So why did this review not contain any comments on the X-H2? Very Curious!
@TechThroughTheLens 1 month ago I had the latest firmware at the time of the video. I don't know any future updates since. I don't have this camera with me anymore. What is now the best camera you have for photography?
Viltrox. makes some pretty great stuff. And sigma aswell. The reason i recommend these brands is that they do a great job keeping distortion to a minimum which is key for architecture.
It is very easy. You can just use the dedicated AF on button, which actually already has the Autofocus mapped to it. It is right where the thumb will rest so it is very useful 😊
Hello, I want to get into photography can you give me some picks for gear , Should i go with xt30ii with the Kit or A6400 with sigma 18-50mm or the a7c
If you really want to get into photography go, go fujifilm. And xt30 is a great choice. I went XT-2, then sold it for fullframe. Bought first sony a7iii, then canon R, but non of them made me want to pick up the camera as much as the fujiflm. Now i have XT4 and XE4, wouldnt change them for any other camera brand.
all 3 are super different cameras. Its hard to give an answer without knowing exactly what you want to shoot and your style. I would just see which specs and feature align with your style
This camera is currently over $2,000 for that price you can buy much better full frame cameras. A few that come to mind are Sony A7 ii full frame for like $950, The Sony a7iii for $1500 . The Nikon full frame z6ii for $1500 , The Lumix full frame S5 IIx $1800. And the Nikon zf retro looking camera which has amazing build quality for under $2,000 and once again full frame. There are a lot better options on the market that are priced below this camera and with The mirrorless system lens prices are coming down. Full frame cameras are always going to have an advantage over crop sensor cameras. I wouldn't spend my money on a camera that's really just a fad, when you can do everything that you may want to do using luts in Lightroom. If you're going to make the argument that people don't want to edit their images then just buy a cheap point and shoot camera. Why would you spend $2,000?
people don't want to edit their photos and have alot of money and want to pay for a premium experience. People out here buying contax t2 for 2500$vjust for the vibes and experience
I love Fuji cameras but theres so much hype here. I prefer to edit as theres only a limited number of simulations unless you want to get more heavily into setting up your own and that's as time consuming as editing. The autofocus is worse than Nikon, Canon, Lumix, and waaay worse than Sony. If you want something more analogue they're great and there's a very good range of lenses.
I know love to edit , i know how to edit, i have all the tools this is not a camera for me🤣 I love Fuji have few cameras already and eyeing T serie for quite a while. 🙂
@@TechThroughTheLens Word. Former X-T30 owner, former X-T4 owner, current X-Pro 1 owner, and current Panasonic S5ii owner.. So, I have video covered.. I guess I should just go X-T5 since I already know my way around it and love the traditional feel of a film camera. If it aint broke, don't fix it right lol. I just been on the fence because both cameras are the same price right now.
@@TopshelfJuniorye just get the XT5 unless you want video. For video, the XH2 and XH2s are definitely more for the video side and “fast” life such as birds flying or cars, etc. The Xt5 has has such AF tools but the XH2 lineup is simply just better. Another reason why you would possibly want the XH2 is it’s absolutely incredible EVF. Has an OLED 5.76 Million dots compared to the 3.69 Million dots of the XT5. The XH2s is better for faster subjects as it has better drive speed from its stacked sensor, hence “S” but has 26MP and more fps in video. The XH2 has 40MP but no stacked sensor so it’s rolling shutter is more noticeable
….Talks about colors and proceeds to show much more natural, better canon colors 🤦♂️ . I like fuji film sims but I still end up editing every time it matter. They are not perfect in any context. There is no « magic sauce », just good jpgs, and other cameras have other strengths.
⭐Fujifilm X-T5

This camera is quite expensive but I love the fact that it's almost edited photos so that this way you don't have to actually edit.
That’s honestly the best thing about Fuji. It being photography back to he craft of in camera image making
It is a great camera. Lovely color, great ergonomics, amazing battery, reliable AF, affordable vast selection lenses.
Couldn't agree more!
Not agree with realible af😢

What about low light performance compared to Canon?
I just bought one. Loving it. My XH2s was too bulky. So I'm taking this one as my go-to.
I’m thinking of doing the same with the X-H2. How are you liking the difference in size and weight?
The fact it is a small camera is the reason I got this camera. As a girl with small hands, that's what I needed. So it's actually a pro for me.
ah gotcha. interesting to hear

thank you!! I am currently picking a camera, you’re a real help💗
I hope that after this sweet movie they gave you one x-t5
nahh. We buy/ rent/ borrow all our cameras

can you suggest me some other party wide angle lens for the same? as I do architecture videography?

Enjoyed this. May i ask what lenses were used for these shots? Thanks!
I used the 35mm and 85mm. But almost all fuji glass is very high quality, pick the focal length you like and you cannot go wrong
How easy is it to back focus on this camera, in relation to the lens?
relatively easy.

Great video! I still have the old 56 1.2 r. Did you test how does it handel with 40 mpx? Worst, equal or better than with 26 mpx?
I have a nikon d700… should i get this to replace my old cam?
Get D780.

X-T5 or X-H2 ?!
depends on your style and what you need in terms of designed and if you need 8k. I think xt5 for photos zh2 for video

I prefer the less natural colors. The whole appeal of shooting film are the funky colors
