I spent wayyyy too long making five different versions of the head, and at that point I just had to pick one of them otherwise I'd be there all night 😅
0:12 Fun Fact: In the Extended Edition of The Return of the King, Saruman actually gives us the correct pronunciations of both Orthanc and Barad-Dûr. "What do you want, Gandalf Greyhame? Let me guess: the key of Orthanc, or perhaps the key of Barad-Dûr itself, along with the crowns of the seven kings, and the rods of the five wizards!"
This moc looks great. After getting the fell beast pieces, definitely gonna do this & add armor plating to the head & neck for my custom Witch King mini figure. btw, wrote a thesis on LOTR, it’s pronounced Bah-Rah-Doar
This is great. I feel like the tail could also do with an aditional bit of length. Now put it on a bigger piece of ruined wall and it will look majestic!
the thing about knees, though, is that lego doesn't believe they exist (also those are ankles, but whatever) It looks a lot better with the modifications, good job
the mouth that doesn't close is a bit weird, but love your overall new design and the reins are fucking amazing, can't believe Lego didn't include them, it clarifies the much needed relationship between the Fellbeast and the Ringwraith and gives it a way more dynamic shape.
I wonder how would dragon tail/neck curved piece and multiple of technic pin connector round curved with fin would look as the tail or would they be too big
"fixing lego's fell beast problem" oh, the fact that they make like 50 in stock which all sell out in the first hours of the set's release?
Yeah, that's like the first half of the video
the modded head looks a bit goofy ngl, but I do agree that the original isnt great

what do you mean? its perfect
@@starmixlp950I'd agree 👍
You’re tripping, it’s awesome
I mean the actual fell beast looks kind of goody so I think the modded on is pretty accurate

Gandalf sure wants some rods…
I swear they need to bring back the og Lego smaugs wings for this, the possibility would be unfathomable.
Another sick modification!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You fix all the bad and make it actually something I wanna buy
Thanks! :) I try my best
@@boxofscraphey there friend
Outstanding mods! Especially the head...gears for teeth are excellent.
I bought this set in China and they didn’t had the fell beast set so they just gave me a ninjago dragon set as a substitute lol
The set they came out with is so horrible. But what’s worse is that people are paying well over $100 for it

Bah-Rah-Doar
The new head has a great attachment method for showing Eowyn chopping the head off the beast to protect King Théoden
thank u soooo much looks soooo much better can’t wait for my pieces to arrive so i can do this myself
that looks so much better. btw, the answer to how does the Nazgul hold both the reins and the sword at the same time is simple: a sheath!
This is great. I feel like the tail could also do with an aditional bit of length. Now put it on a bigger piece of ruined wall and it will look majestic!
Oooohhh You should fix the dragon from the dnd set!

Very nice video. Thanks for showing how to get our own. I liked your changes. I love your mask collection.
I made my own creature using the custom head you made but changed it a bit
The way to pronounce barad dur is bear uh dour and this is a awesome upgrade!😊
Great idea for the reigns! The Nazgul technically doesn't need to hold his sword while riding
Or you can put both of the reins on one hand so it looks like he’s holding it one handed.
The text to speech didn't get it right either, unless I'm mistaken, it should be pronounced something like "bar-odd doour"
Dang! I’m not even into Lord of the rings all that much, and I want to buy it just so I can mod it to look like this!
The head looks great!
An upgrade on all fronts, dragon W.
Looks great! It's just a shame how the official design *fell* a little short
this is nice
I ran into the same promo issue with the DND set gift with purchase
The Fell Bees' knees!
Just listen to Sir Ian saying it! ...Bar-add Dour... I really dig the bighead.
Honestly, Lego needs to just bite the bullet and release a small set with a custom head like Ninjago does.
nice work
I wonder how would dragon tail/neck curved piece and multiple of technic pin connector round curved with fin would look as the tail or would they be too big
Are you able to link all the pieces used?
I GOT A RARE PROMO AND DIDNT EVEN KNOW LIOLOLOLOLOLOLKOIOLO
How the hell do you expect then to put knee joints on a 260 peice dragon
260 pieces? That's Impossible! 269 pieces however... 🤔
@@boxofscrap you have a point🤔
Why is this video set at maximum brightness
It’s pronounced [baa-raad door] the oo is like in ooze.
Head needs some work, those pieces on the sides look way too bulky.
It has eagle feet. Dats weird.
I think sauron was right
head looks way too goofy
I don't like it that's why I didn't get it. I will make my own up with pick a brick 👍😋
i like before
it looks terrible. Both versions.
