    I feel like, if Mitch ever makes something whose build doesn't use a single burnt hot dog part, a fundamental law of the universe will have been violated.

    my favourite thing that i respect mitch so much for is that he knows the names of all the parts he uses he doesnt just explain how the piece looks mostly but just says it sproper name like how can u remember or even know that?

  • @kailashblades
    @kailashblades 17 днів тому +7

    So good! I think the dangly front arms worked really well and potentially working the same kind of organic secondary motion into the tail and neck could really help to sell the effect. Rather than using the spine for the tail you could have it be a tensile structure using constrained flex tubes and regular tubes. You could strategically place weight in the tail to get the kind of bob you're looking for. The neck needs more structure than the tail and could have low friction pivots that are then constrained by the flex tubes or rubber bands.
    Would love to see more of this kind of thing!

    If I have ever learnt something from Mitch’s builds, it’s that burnt hotdogs and robot arms are the most important parts for building Lego sculptures.

    Hmm, just some constructive feedback, this one feels about 80% complete. I was hoping for a base stand with a bit of an environment, and maybe some prey that it's chasing. I also think the whole body shakes a bit too much. When you said the head would bob back and forth, I thought you meant just from the neck. It looks a bit silly in its current iteration. I think some large plumage on the back of the neck would really fill out the big gap between the back of the neck and shoulders, look up the Pavosaurus Rex for what I was envisioning. I hope you don't mind my input.

    • @MitchBuilds
      @MitchBuilds  17 днів тому

      Honestly I think for a build like this to be fully baked it’d take at least a year of designing! Did my best in a month and it still took too long for this video to come out 😅 sometimes you just need to be done with a project and on to the next one tho! I appreciate the feedback!

  • @itsnuqie
    @itsnuqie 16 днів тому

    I think you should have made it so the body bobs twice every rotation, because it looks like he's limping on one leg - popular mistake. But overall, great build 🔥
