My Dad built Mach I and Envision Boats back in the day. 1966-1996, Regal gives you more standard features for a 26 ft boat is amazing. You were right with the OB, and i watched your feature episode also. Congratulations and enjoy boating. Be safe.
You guys were in North Fort Myers I'm sure you realized that by now. You are right that Restaurant is really Good. The Beach is kinda sketchy. They used to teach the kids Sailing there but not sure if they still do. Anyway nice Boat. Hae a Nice Day
Hey Guys, Love the New Boat ! Seeing you guys =cruise makes me start missing the SeaRay Sundance me and dad once owned. Was a great boat and we cruised Long Island sound from top to bottom MANY Times. Good Luck with the new craft !
I went to Cabbage Key yesterday for lunch and they have a wonderful Stone Crab and steamed jumbo shrimp for two with two sides and a variety of dipping sauces. Served hot or cold. Try to get over there while stone crab season lasts! Yum!
Great place for sunset, we've stopped there a few times on our winter visits. Maybe we'll see you there this winter, coming down this week. The Boathouse restaurant and marina further up the river is really nice. Usually live music and nice pool at marina/restaurant.
We have very similar tastes in boats!! Our previous crusier was a 2860 Regal Windows Express. Loved it. Now we have the 341. You guys are living the life, with choices!!
Nice boat with a nice outboard. Great mileage as well. Our old V8 I/O 27 foot regal burns 20 gallons an hour at 22 miles an hour. Tough when you only have a 60 gallon gas tank. boat was so heavy but nice for a short week trip
Back in the 80's, we had a Wellcraft V20 with a Johnson 235 on the back. I can't remember what the fuel burn was, but those things weren't called two thirsty fives for nothing. 60 gallon tank, too, so I feel your range pain.
If you like that boat I had a 27' Chaparral 276 Signature with an 8.1L engine and 425hp. Now that cruiser would do 50mph and get there faster than some go fast boats. Fun boat. It would cruise at 32knts at 3,500 rpms.
We have been kicking around the idea of selling our 28 Express and have looked at a couple 341's but with the excitement you show for the 26xo maybe we're wrong. It is nice getting places a bit quicker and even marinas are affordable with a smaller boat.
You should take a ride up to the Boathouse Fort Myers past I-75. Nice place, and they have an awesome pool! It's way better than anything at Marinatown and is worth the ride.
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs ah, that’s right! The no wake zone from way before the railroad tracks all the way past the power plant starts back up on Wednesday so, going up that way from then until April 15th is no-wake prohibitive and will literally take you twice as long to get up that way during that time. We used to keep our boat at the Marina over there but we got tired of the long commute to the shore line so we now moved it over to Burnt Store. Downside to that is the rough waters in Charlotte Harbor on windy days.
We're taking bets on whether or not you guys will sell the Meridian Lol. Plenty of speed for water sports. Does the tower have a tow point? I would like to see an overnight video to get an idea on how well the generator works and if both of you are happy with the overall comfort and space of the regal or if you miss the meridian
Love the new boat! Your videos are awesome. Can you guys plan a trip south to Naples or Marco? I don’t think I’ve seen a trip of you going south on the boat. That would be pretty cool.
In May 2022 I sold my 1995 Silverton 41C because it was just too big to enjoy. It was great staying on that boat but trying to take it out and docking it was a chore and you needed at least two other people to help. I then bought a 2000 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer and I absolutely love it. It is so easy to dock and handle so I think I made the right choice. I see you also hit 20,000 subscribers, congratulations. I also noticed you have fuel flow on your Garmin Chartplotter. Are you using the Garmin fuel transducers? I had the Fox Engine Gateways on my Silverton and need to install some fuel flow transducers on my SeaRay.
Very rarely do we need fenders around here as most docks are fixed pilings and calm waters so they are stored under the seats. I was also confident we would have a soft landing. 😁
question with the trim tabs down and motor trimmed correctly what is the slowest seed you can go while staying on plane I belive that is the best mpg you can get or at least that was how it was on my cobalt 253 I could hold plane at 14mph and that big 454 barely used any fuel thanks
No major issues so far. Compass problem and some electronic issue where the Garmin looses engine settings every time we shut it off. Haven’t had much time to look into that.
Awesome! Said by someone living on the 60'th parallel... You asked for suggestions and I do have one from your place, but is a long trip - Sparky's Landing in Key Colony Beach, Marathon. I hear that the eating is really good there. Can you please confirm? A weekend trip, perhaps?
That’s a long trip! We plan to do the keys in the next year or so and I want to do the loop around the east coast. That will be at least a couple week trip. Lots of content there!
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs Yeah, I know its a heck of a long trip. You do as you wish, of course! No Jack plate. I just got back from visiting Mom in NJ!
Great speed on that boat. Weres Matey? Are you going to the boat races this weekend in Englewood? If so maybe I will see you there.

About 24mph she stars to fall back in the hole. I just use trim tabs to help get on plane, then level them out as they create drag.
OMG…. So glad you now have a boat like mine… would like to know what you think and any issues you’ve encountered, if any. I have a 2020 26XO.
