Love your video and the tranquil fog. never went in my aft cabin on my old regal. Looked like a coffin. Always preferred the V birth with quick head access
Mostly just my smartphone. Started with android and now use an iPhone 12. I sometimes use an old GoPro for water shots and time lapse and occasionally hands free spy glasses or a DJI drone.
Hi Tom will have to change my phone to a IPhone 12 your video s are excellent keeping a Michigan based boater drooling sorry to see your damage from IAN hope everything is back to normal for you keep making great U tube videos and I will be watching thanks for comeback Alk
How much fun, beaching the boat and walking around the islands. So question, once one decides to be in Florida that all come down. Did anyone follow you down?
You guys are awesome! quick question when you stayed overnight did you run a/c all night with generator on or off? If generator was on , how was the sound level?
We didn’t run the gen all night. Just started it when it started getting stuffy in the cabin then turned on the air condition. It is louder than our bigger boat as the generator is very close to you. It doesn’t bother me much but the admiral doesn’t like it.
Have you used the generator much? Looking into purchasing a 26 XO but have heard mixed reviews about the Westerbeke generator. Looking into alternative options such as inverter, DC air-conditioning powered by LI batts (Mabru unit) or portable generator such as a Honda gen to power AC.
I’m not a big fan of the single screen for all data. There is not much room for a second screen but they could have added a few more gauges(rpm, temp, voltage would be nice). I usually squeeze as much engine/speed data on the gps nav screen as I could as it’s quite customizable.
Thanks for the reply. The 0:55 mnewer models do have two Garmin screens. We really like the boat and appreciate your showing videos using it. We tend to cruise for up to about a week at a time, and the refrigeration doesn’t look like it’s big enough to handle the food we would need to carry. Enjoy your videos. Keep them coming.
Funny you say that! My brother Brian(the musician from the ICW trip) is coming down this week for a few days. He was here a few months ago and we did some kayaking the mangroves in this video: ua-cam.com/video/LoQ1wewEmQo/v-deo.htmlsi=TeUuUkeNdowsIZkT I’ll try to get him on video this week. Lol
It took us a few trips to get used to the aft birth. Sometimes I’ll sleep in the bow and leave the wife in the stern so I don’t wake her up to early. Overall I thinks it’s a great boat though.
Depends on who you ask. The consensus is it is the slow speed manatee zone forcing boats to go 8mph or slower in that area. Some say it’s the area just past the popular “miserable mile” location where everyone picks up speeds and turns the waters into a wild washing machine.
Greetings from Laguna beach, California. Lovely video and I am jealous of these isolated little keys and beaches, we don’t have those in Cali. I am thinking of buying xo 26 as my first boat. I am thinking of putting seakeeper on it, but an overkill maybe? Being a small boat, Did it not rock a bit while you slept? Did you not feel sea sick or anything?
We find calm anchorages. I don’t mind gentle rolling. Never got seasick on my boats. Seakeeper may be a bit much for this boat. But there is room for one in the bilge.
Having a successful first night on your Regal completes the test of having bought the right boat. Looking forward to your Christmas light parade
Fingers crossed! Weather doesn’t look good.
Love these videos. It’s vicarious boating for me since my regal 26 is winterized until April. Keep them coming!
It’s fun watching you two livin’ the dream. Your weather is much better than the cold in Minnesota.
Cool video, wow that was thick fog!
You guys always look like your having so much fun
Love your videos! I'm not a boater but enjoy your outings!
Thank you!
From spooky to beautiful sunshine.
Nice work on the grill.
Nice to see you guys enjoying life.
God bless and safe adventures.

Glad to have you along!
Bridget is a very awesome person 😊
Your videos are very therapeutic for sure keep up the great work guys.
Absolutely love you guys 😊 awesome boat ⛵ also
Fog is why I had 3 fog lights I could put on my boat. I used them several times. Very handy for safety concerns.
You are awesome!!!! great info….
I remember leaving Gardners basin in AC on a super foggy day going out to the ocean.. really scary..I hate fog. Lol . great presentation guys . 😊
Know Gardiners well! Always fog that way for some reason.
Love your channel! Keep the videos coming! My boats on blocks til May up here in NJ.
I don’t miss that!
Good thing someone didn't run into you in the fog I was anchored out and boats going fast
Matey would have loved running around on Boatage Point! The Admiral needs a paddle board.
I could use the exercise. Lol
love the new boat! hope the doggie likes it too!
He’s adjusting to the speed. Lol
Hi watched a whole lot of your videos enjoyed them fully wonder what kind of camera do you use? thanks so much

@user-zc9by6bi4v thanks for watching!
I cannot believe we missed that parade.I think the cape has one this Saturday
Yes. Happy Ours will be in the Cape Coral parade at Bimini Basin
Great video as always. My wife is the same, she seems to believe I control the tides, color of the water, temp, clouds, rain, etc....
lol so true!
You can do more things with a smaller boat cap. 👍
How much fun, beaching the boat and walking around the islands. So question, once one decides to be in Florida that all come down. Did anyone follow you down?
No family have followed us just yet but many want to! It’s not easy to uproot from family and move cross country.

@@AdventuresofHappyOurs Ive been really kicking around getting the 26xo ... torn between buying new or buying used. Thanks for getting back to me
@bennyserrano440 the new prices are ridiculous compared to a few years ago.
Have you used the generator much? Looking into purchasing a 26 XO but have heard mixed reviews about the Westerbeke generator. Looking into alternative options such as inverter, DC air-conditioning powered by LI batts (Mabru unit) or portable generator such as a Honda gen to power AC.
Have only used it for a couple outings. So far no issues. It’s easy to work on if issues do arise but I wouldn’t let that scare you away.
Is the Garmin screen big enough on the Regal? We are considering buying one with the same Garmin.
I’m not a big fan of the single screen for all data. There is not much room for a second screen but they could have added a few more gauges(rpm, temp, voltage would be nice). I usually squeeze as much engine/speed data on the gps nav screen as I could as it’s quite customizable.

A week is a stretch but we have done it on boats this size.
What is the up date on happy outside the damage bad or not
She’s fine. Other than the constant battle with barnacle. Lol. We’ll be taking her out for the Christmas boat parade this Saturday in Cape Coral.
You’re a knowledgeable guy. Do you have your captains license?
Yes sir. After 30 years of boating I decided to make it official and got my credentials last year. USCG Master 50 ton near coastal.

Congrats ! It shows
Thanks!
How much would it take to ship a XO26 to PR ?
HELP. I can't find where you put the link for the bbq
Got all from West Marine. I’ll put links in video description.
When will you meet back up with your brother? Has he seen the new boat?
Funny you say that! My brother Brian(the musician from the ICW trip) is coming down this week for a few days. He was here a few months ago and we did some kayaking the mangroves in this video: ua-cam.com/video/LoQ1wewEmQo/v-deo.htmlsi=TeUuUkeNdowsIZkT

What’s the best mpg at cruise?
I get just about 2.12mpg at 25 mph or so. That seems to be the best on plane economy I can get after trimming boat and motor.
still need to do lovers key beach
Yes we will get there once it warms up a bit. Probably in January.

It honestly wasn’t bad. Would be nice if the steps flipped out of the way.
Why do they call it the miserable mile?
Depends on who you ask. The consensus is it is the slow speed manatee zone forcing boats to go 8mph or slower in that area. Some say it’s the area just past the popular “miserable mile” location where everyone picks up speeds and turns the waters into a wild washing machine.
You woke up in a Stephen King novel!
Hope not, they would be dead.
It was creepy!
