    Beautiful. Good work! I'm considering this case for my next set-up. Did you need to modify the lid to get your ports through? I'm thinking of trying to mount a Nemesis 360 GTS X-Flow up there with a regular 360 GTS at the front. XFLOW is non standard ports so I'm expecting to drill if I do go with it but just curious how you did.

      Ray Acatinca So the drain port is right under the reservoir. Yeah, I had to cut holes but only because I was going with 2x 360 radiators. You might not need to do that. Check when everything arrives and you will see if it fits. 😉 And thank you very much. Glad you like the video 🤗🤗

    I wish they didn't made the right side panel glass in H500M. Not only it doesn't make sense since there are only cable managing and motherboard tray to be seen here but it also artifically bloats up the price. Cooler Master should make a version with normal steel panel instead.

    Love your work~also the build on h500p. for the top part, seeing that you put the rad on the outside and the fans on the inside(between them is the mashed-top-part), did you cut a piece off the mashed-top-part for the fittings and pipe to go through?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  6 років тому

      田益沛 Thank you and glad you like both builds. 🤗
      Yes, I had to cut out the meshed part of the top panel that holds the radiator so the pipes could go through. Otherwise, if you place the radiator beneath and the fans on the radiator, fittings would hit other fittings or on the other side of the case (the rear part) the fan. So I had to improvise. And don’t worry of the radiator blocking the air flow outtake. The temperatures are really really good. 😁👍

      The case comes with the controller if you don't have the argb header. You can use the reset switch as the toggle. Needs 1 sata to power it and use the supplied micro usb 2.0 plug to header on the mobo to update the case firmware and set CM software to run it.

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  5 років тому +1

      Splendid Evil You would have to modify the case plus it has a tempered glass both side panels so you wouldn’t have any outtake for the air. Plus, ou would have unnecessary 10 fans. My advice, if you want to hear it, is that you place the triple radiator on the front of the case, at the top put three fans and one at the back. What do you think?

      Jose Manuel Varela Well it is not that hard. Just pull them out, and when placing them back, the front panel first place the bottom part, then the rest. As for the top part, first push in the front part where the I/O ports are and then the rest. That is it.

  • @blaketfg9374
    @blaketfg9374 2 роки тому +1

    I'm new to water-cooling and I have been trying to figure things out for this case specifically for months now. So you need matching fans for radiators right. So 2 140mm fans for a 280mm rad. With this case you can mount a 200mm rad for one of the 200mm fans but like you did are you able to just have a 360 rad and have 120mm fans pulling and still have the 200mm fans pushing without losing static pressure? If you normally had bigger fans on a radiator the air would go around the rad instead of through because air wants to take the path of least resistance but if you have the right size fans on the other side as well as the oversized fans will it actually properly push/pull air through the rad? That's been the main question keeping me from getting this case.

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  2 роки тому

      I honestly haven't had issues with temperatures when I was running this build. But then again, this build is very old and the temperature on the cards and CPU was completely different than now. First GPU was running on 55C, second on 50C and CPU on 53-57C, depending on the load. So basically, it was ok. But I totally get what you are saying. Too much space of the radiator is covered by the middle part of the fan where the motor is.

  • @flyinion
    @flyinion 4 роки тому +1

    How is the airflow out the top? I'm going to be putting watercooling in my H500M soon with a single 360 and debating push/pull in front with a 45mm or putting 30mm up top on the underside with fans on top pulling out. I figured the fans being thinner (by at least 5mm) would give the air an easier time to bend and get out since the top panel directly above is glass. Also, if you had put a single GPU in the vertical mount, same length card, would it clear the reservoir mount? If not, what about if the res is mounted on the rear panel, or the case's default PSU shroud mount? I'm planning to put an extended length GPU in but with a 45mm rad it won't fit for sure it looks like in the standard motherboard location and 45mm wouldn't work very well in just push with only those 200mm's

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  4 роки тому

      Charles Paluda On rhe feont you can barely manage a SE 360 with push/pull combo, then res and the Strix 1080Ti GPU. Leaves about 1/2mm of space. So you can’t use thicker radiator or fans. Be careful how you calculate stuff otherwise it won’t fit. Also, you can easily manage what you are talking on top. The air flow is really outstanding in the case. Better airflow rhan in H500P and C700M by far. Honestly, I love this case so much. This is definitely my TOP 5 cases of all time.

    • @flyinion
      @flyinion 4 роки тому +1

      @@PCCrazyDario Thanks, I wasn't sure how well air would flow out the top with a radiator taking up most of the space and being close to that glass. Yeah I have the case right now, just looking to convert to water.

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  4 роки тому

      Charles Paluda I was afraid as well since I had to place the radiator above the grill that holds it, but everything was perfect. The temperatures on both GPUs didn’t go above 55C in full load and CPU was somewhere around 53-58C.

    Looking to install the H150i Pro (360mm) I can see you installed a 360mm at the top. But isn't the radiator itself choking the sides of the top panel? Since the top of the top panel is tempered glass? Also did you install for push or pull?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  5 років тому +2

      Angel Flute If you install the AIO cooler at the top you can’t install it the way I did since you would have to cut a big chunk of the top panel. On the other hand, I installed the radiator on the top part of the panel and fans on the bottom part of the panel and I have good airflow. Of course the top TG gets a bit warm but it works perfectly (nothing drastic). Now if you place the radiator as CM intended, then you have an even better airflow. H500P was a bit strange with that, but they fixed everything with H500M. So no choking.
      Push is on top, front is push/pull.

    How much is the water cooling set up?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  5 років тому

      Depends what are you planning to cool down, procesor or graphic card or both… Or you have two graphic cards… Write the specs and I will let you know but for instance, if you go with only CPU, you could manage everything in the price range of $350.

    Bit late i know. What i wanted to know is, can i fit a 280mm aio rad under the top panel with 2 fans underneath and fit 2 fans on top of the top panel for push pull without it getting in the way of the motherboards 2, 8 pin sockets. I want to put a gigabyte master Z390 board and the i9 9900k into this case As usual, another great video and BIG thumbs up

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  4 роки тому +1

      menacegtr Well I can see from my own video that you have space to do it like that, but then again, you need to drill holes in the top bracket to place the pipes or if you are going with an AIO you need to cut the top bracket a lot more. 😬 Modding a bit. 😉 Thank you very much. Glad you like it. 🤗

    I'm confused at you mounting a radiator on the front panel behind the intake fans. Doesn't this mean you are drawing outside ambient air across a hot radiator surface and then blowing that hot air into your case?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  3 роки тому

      I had a push/pull combination on the front panel radiator. Fromt 2x 200m were pushing the air theough the radiator and 3x 120mm were pull the air from the radiator. Radiator is hald hot half cold, my temperatures on the CPU were max 60C on heavy load and on first GPU 55-57C while on the second one 50-55. I guess I didn’t have a problem 😉

    I think i'm going to buy a RTX 3080 when NewEgg/Amazon has it in Stock and in the future I'd like to buy a Water Block for the GPU (When they're available) and other for the CPU, so, is this case big enough for all the things I said? Thanks in advance

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  3 роки тому +1

      Hi, great plan, but honestly I don't think that it would fit in this case. I had issues with GTX 1080Ti, imagine having the larger PCB board from RTX 3080 inside. Go with a larger case, such as C700M. ;)

    How did you put a 360mm water cooling in the top, did you buy a new metal piece that fit exactly the same? Or did you modifie the present piece? Because it tells me that the top can only take a 280mm Max...

  • @mcremsteack8269
    @mcremsteack8269 4 роки тому +1

    Excuse me but I will build a pc with this case and I have a question about the best way to put my fans:
    I will use a closed loop with a 360m radiator and I want to put it in the top without changing how the others fans are but I don’t know if it is good for air pression (pull air opin the case with the front and pull air out of the case with the back and the closed loop on the top).
    I ask myself (and you with the same occasion) if it is better when I putt the closed loop on the front (with a pull/push radiator with the 2 big fans and the 3 120mm fans) and I put 1 or 2 fans of the top in pull (pull air in the case) and the 1 or 2 others with the back fan that take out the air of the case?
    I know it is a hard question and I don’t explain my plan in a very good way but it will be very cool from you if you answer to my question!
    Keep doing your think and good luck!

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  4 роки тому

      Tokha Well you can do a push pull combo in front and place teo fans on top and one at the rear. For a close loop and to place it on top means that you can have anything on front except the stock 2x 200mm fans. Both combinations should work good so you don’t have to worry about that, but honestly try the top. It will look good, you will have an intake with 2x 200mm fans and outtake with 3x 120mm fans for the rad and one at the rear. Hope I helped a bit. 😉
