    Very nice build.
    I have the Same Case, and you inspired me to change my air Cooling system to Water Cooling=)
    How are your Temperatures? i Have 1 Gtx 1080 TI and a i7 8700k. I have the same Radiator like yours for the front, and a 280mm Radiator for the Top.
    You think i will be fine with that? or should i change the Top Radiator also in a 360mm One?
    I realy like this case, but the air flow in the front realy could be better!
    Your build is realy Amazing! i think it will be realy a hard work for me to create something like you, with the hard tubes and everything! But you are my inspiration =)

      richu006 Hi! Well what to say on this nice and long comment (and I mean it in a positive way)! 🤗 Thank you very much. I honestly means a lot to me.
      For the radiators, I was running my custom loop with 360/240 combo, with the same specs. Slight difference. So basicaly, you don’t need to add it. Only if you want 2x 360 for the looks. 😉
      Idle temps are on both GPUs 26/28C, CPU 26C. Gaming PUBG/BF1 GPUs from 50-60C. Rarelly reaches 60C, but I wanted to mention the top temperature.
      Thank you again and I want to add that my first loop wasn’t this good. It takes time and experience. But if you do it carefully and with patience, the build will look amazing along with the pipe work. Tip: order more pipes just so you can practice or if you accidentally make a mistake. 😉

      Hi Pc Crazy thank you for your reply... ill go with the 280mm in the Top^^ that give me a bit moore space in front of the top. maybe its possible to go with a 250mm Reservoir than. Can i ask you 1 Question? How you mounted the front radiator, the reservoir and the front radiator fans? Do you just have a screw through the Reservoir, than trough the fan through the case and turned into the radiator at the end? i cant see that realy in the Video, and i ask me that because i think the bracket in the front of the case is not realy designed for that using. Or do you use some washers? Would be realy nice if you could explain me a bit your front mounting =)

      @PCCrazyDario  6 років тому +1

      richu006 Great, it will look epic with 280 rad on top. 😉
      As for the front push pull combo, I haveplaced top and bottom fan to stick the radiator and the middle one was placed at the same time as the pump/res combo. The top fan needed some distancers because there isn’t any stands for the fans on the case. You could place top 360 rad and front 280 because it will be much easier to work and to do. Hope it helps. 😉

      @rrdrone90 6 років тому +1

      PC Crazy thank you for the reply.
      Ok yea that helps..that is what i thought:)
      The problem is my 280 radiator has a thickness of 30mm and thats 2mm to much for the placement in the front:)
      So ill try it like you in the front.

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  6 років тому

      richu006 Just be careful when placing rad and fans at the front because they can get stuck on the front side of the chassis of the case. Test first just to see how it will all look and how the fans will spin. But in the end, everything is ok. Anytime bud, just ask when you need something. 😉

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  6 років тому

      Jesse F Yeah, exactly. The only problems I heard about are those considering shipping to another location and not flushing the coolant before and insuring the pipes and GPU(s). Otherwise, no problems whatsoever.

    • @Markinpuff
      @Markinpuff 6 років тому +1

      I use a cooler master mastermaker Air, air cooler , yea it big, but it can never leak and basically last forever. All you would have todo is clean it and change out the fans.
      As for performance, my temps never get above 62c using prime95 for 45 minutes- I78700k no deliding on this cpu. I don’t feel it’s necessary, if you can find a solution that works just as well, in fact better and quite as can be.. If I replaced the fans with Noctua fans you probably wouldn’t know it was there.

    • @JLeeCN
      @JLeeCN 6 років тому +1

      Markinpuff air cooling works just fine and is adequate for cooling even high end cpus. Watercooling is for people that want the best performance they can get. Its as good as system cooling gets

  • @riffcover9000
    @riffcover9000 6 років тому +1

    Hey, just going to point out a couple things - The mayhem aurora that you used eventually settles, it's powder that doesn't dissolve. So think of the times you turn off your computer. In 3 months time you'll find yourself ordering new o-rings for the fittings and the EK pump/res combo (Barrow is cheapest and quality is good). The pump is hard to clean out when its turned into sand-like in the little hard corners. It'll never come out of the radiators, so even if you put clear coolant in - you'll still see the "lava" effect. Keep that in-mind because once it builds up too much, it slowly creates a gap between the acrylic and the fittings. Eventually it will leak.
    Keep the above in mind because your weakest joint is in-between your GPU and EK res/pump combo. Since the drain isn't fixed mounted, the Mayhem that eventually builds up will cause it to almost 'rock' side to side/ up or down. Imagine you walking up to your table, you accidentally bump into it, it may give and leak.
    Also in the GPU and CPU heat-sinks under the EK acrylic plates, the copper/aluminium has tiny little 'fins' through which coolant passes through to cool the hot points. The Mayhem concentrate settles there and starts building up little 'sand hills'. You'll notice temp spikes and eventually core overheating.
    With cable work, you also want to finish that first and build your loop around them. Simply because fidgeting with cables, you're guaranteed to slightly bump into your acrylic pipes multiple times. By the time you are finished with your cables, your loop has moved around a lot and placed significant wear on the O-rings. Worst case, you leak as soon as you let the pump go. But usually it'll catch up within the first year of usage. When the cleaning time comes, purchase contact cleaner from an auto store and use compressed air to clean it out. Fibre cloths wont help.
    I don't mean to be a d*ck. I worked building custom rigs for the last 3 years and the only reason I know is returning customers. The ones with Aurora Mayhem in them come back the most. You build, you learn, you build again. All the best

    • @riffcover9000
      @riffcover9000 6 років тому +1

      One way to prove this is that you'll agree that you can't see the 'lava' effect as well as it was when you've first built it. The reason for that is that most of the Mayhem Aurora has settled in 'difficult' places like the radiators, inside the pump itself and the gpu/cpu heatsink fins

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  6 років тому

      Hi, thanks for the detailed comment. First of all, I would like to tell you that this isn't my first Mayhems coolant build so I know that the coolant loses its effect even sooner than three months. I made this build two months ago and I had the effect for two or three weeks. After that it just looks like clear liquid. As for the leakage after a while, in my past build, I had the liquid for more than a year after I decided to change everything. No leakage, no temp spikes, nothing. Since here I have already lost the swirl effect of Mayhems coolant, I should expect the temp spikes? Honestly, still nothing. The temps are the same without any difference and I'm talking about this build as well as the build before. I have been working with water cooled builds for a long time now and never encountered any leakage.When I changed my loop and case in to this one, I cleaned everything without a problem. No residue, no sand hills or anything. I don't know if you mixed your Mayhem coolant with something else, but I had more problems with other pastel and clear coolant than with Aurora silver. Pastel and clear got me liquid blockage with loads of unidentified smudge or some sort of material that blocked my water blocks.Worst case never happened. All my builds never had leak should I place the cables before or after the pipe work. I have been doing this for a long time and I am very meticulous when it comes to computers so I don't worry about anything you mention. Thank you for the heads up nevertheless, but it will be fine without a doubt. Maybe you had negative experience, or maybe you had negative experience with Mayhems so you decide to write something like this, or you just wanted to warn me... I don't know, but I had only positive experience (except for the loss of the effect). Honestly, I placed Aurora Silver in the build just for the video and I knew before that the effect would go away. I couldn't care less. Once I decide to remove the pipes and redo my loop, it won't be a problem to clean anything, including radiators, pump/res combo and I won't need to buy anything new because I hadn't problem before, doubt it is going to happen now..As for the cleaning, I have a soft brush that I gently use to remove dust and compressed air in a can, as you said. Never in my wildest dream I thought of using a cloth of any kind on the exterior and in the interior of the build.If I didn't mention, thank you for the heads up, but I am already aware of everything. All the best to you too.

The front panel look nice with just enough holes for those three ARGB fans to create a nice air flow through the case. Basically, the price isn't bad at all for a nice case with 4x ARGB fans, by the looks - great air flow, and the back side looks spacious to me. • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  6 років тому

      Loyal foxx Well I wanted to separate the hot water. You see there are two graphic cards and a processor that create heat. So if you have one radiator and the water goes directly, for example, from teo graphic cards to a processor, then a bit hotter water gets to it and it doesn’t cool it that good as in my configuration. So I separated one radiator for two graphic cards and one radiator for the processor. Much better temperatures. 😉 And thank you very much. 🤗

    How often do I have to put another liquid on a castom whatercooling pc if I play 2 hours everyday ?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  3 роки тому +1

      After placing the liquid for the first time, the level in the reservoir will lower through some time because the air bubbles will have to go somewhere and they will end up in the top side of the res. Then you need to fill it up eventually after a week or two and then again a bit after a month... As for changing the liquid, if you go with a clear coolant and if you PC doesn't heat up because you clean it regularly, then every year and a half or two. If you go with a pastel coolant and if you run the PC regularly, then after one year or one and a half. ;)

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  5 років тому

      KAMPFPOTATO First, you don’t have a water block for RTX 2080Ti X Trio. 😬 Just order a bit more pipes in case you bent them wrong or you make knees on the bends. Also, draw few ideas on paper so you know what you will be doing. The reservoar has to be above the pump if you aren’t going with the pump/res combo. Pipes have to be place exactly straight into the fitting so the compression O-rings can fit correctly and keep the water/coolant in the loop.

    • @PCCrazyDario

    Huh. Very nice. I'm doing a push/pull 360 at the top and 240 with fans on the inside at the front using EK SEs and CM RGB fans, so very similar to this. Was there a reason you didn't push/pull the top so the fans would be visible on top from the outside? Why the vertical version of the bracket instead of the other one?

    • @PCCrazyDario

      Jonathan Allbritten Honestly, too many fans would be there, like 12. And I don’t have anymore trident splitters. Can’t find them on CM EU store and on eBay they can cost from €20-50 (single piece). 😬
      As for the res/pump combo, there is no space anywhere else. Underneath the PSU shroud there is no room. Cables, Cooler Master RGB controller and USB internal hub. And you can see the front. There actually isn’t any room. And this way I could manage a drain port. It’s always a mess when I have to do the drain port 😂

    Just finished copying your loop. Do you find the CM rgb fans to be a bit shit? My 120mm fans make a pulsing hum at low rpm, and both my 200mm fans have issues. One squeaks, the other wobbles and rattles. Also, I've noticed over 10c drop by taking off my front and top panels, the acrylic roof seemed to catch and hold heat. I hope they sell an interchangeable mesh roof, but I don't think they will. They'll just change it for next year's case. This is my third, and probably last Cooler Master build.

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  6 років тому

      roflryan As for the fans, I don’t have issues with 120 nor 200mm ones. They work perfectly on any level of RPM. Talking about the plexiglass, yeah I noticed the temp drop when removing the front and top but I am satisfied with the temps because before I had Phanteks Entho Evolv TG ATX edition and it had a very very bad airflow. With H500P with top and front plexi I have 20C temp drop compared to Enthoo Evolv case. This is my third Cooler Master case and so far I am sticking to it. Next one, but for my second build will be NZXT H400i just because I want a cool mATX build. But sticking with H500P. 😉 As for the mesh, you can easily do it yourself without to much of a fuss.

    • @roflryan7464

    I notice you use 2 radiators on front and top. Hope it isn't too stupid a question but are radiators specifically for water cooling? or could you use a top radiator mounted with 360 fans, I understand at a certain point adding more fans would be less effective. I own the same case with the standard fans that came with it, I get temps of about 55-70 when gaming. Apparently Cooler Master are releasing mesh front covers in Q3 2018

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  6 років тому +1

      Boa You can mount on top 3x 120mm fans without a problem. It is not radiator based mount, and btw they have the same holes so don’t worry. 😉 Actually, it won’t be less effective. If you place them correctly then you have a perfect air flow. You can mod the case yourself if you wish, just remove the plexiglass and add some mesh or dust filter and it will fix the problem. 😉

      No. I just got the case and did measurements. The fans + the radiator cannot be thicker than 55mm. I think most fans are 25mm thick as well. So that leaves you with a 30mm thick rad max. Any larger, you might end up hitting parts of your motherboard.

      As for the cables for the front 200mm fans on H500P, they are normal RGB fans so you have one 4-pin connector for AURA SYNC, MSI Mystic Lights and you can connect that to the motherboard. The second cable is either 3-pin or 4-pin PWM (I can't remember exactly). You can connect that cable to the fan controller or to the motherboard. And that is all. ;)
