    i wish u could have done this build so we could also follow along also the setup to ur computer as someone that wants to build this for the first time a in depth build of this i would have loved to follow along how u got the fans to all work accordingly in color also if i need to install something when i connect it for the first time to the monitor or does it work right away ? stuff like that. if u can make it i would totally watch a build with a white case or this case with a theme of white and pastel pink or white/silver or white and gold that is aesthetically pleasing but packs a punch in both gaming and look.

    Wonderful build PC crazy. I noticed you removed the inside fans for the front mounted radiator compared to the H500M. I think I'll probably do the same but I do love those 2x200mm addressable RGB fans on the H500M. They sync up wonderfully with my RGB EK waterblock. :)

    How does the t splitter work? Wha two I connect to the inlet port of the pump res then the t splitter. Is it just a regular fitting then the t splitter then the loop and drain valve?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  5 років тому

      Lazer XT It works that way that it splits the coolant when you need to drain it for instance. So one side connects to the outlet of the pump. The middle one for instance for the drain port which needs to be covered, and the third hole is for the rest of the loop to continue the regular flow. 😉

    • @HollowCrown45
      @HollowCrown45 4 роки тому +1

      @@PCCrazyDario Was kinda confused here as well! How do you connect the outflow of the pump to the T splitter?
      The description seems to specify that you used only one M/M converter, which I assume is used between the T splitter and the drain. However, what connector, if not a M/M converter was used between the out and the T splitter?

    • @PCCrazyDario

      Bryan Brunnemeyer Thank you very much. To be honest, I don’t think that the plastic looks or feels cheap. I do have a small gap between the fron I/O panel and the front cover/panel but nothing that obvious that would bother me to be honest.

    • @Slimmeyy
      @Slimmeyy 5 років тому

      While the price is pretty high, the amount of features you get and the sheer shize of the internals make it a pure joy for enthusiasts. Wouldn't recommend getting it, unless you're planning on multiple graphics cards, multiple radiators and a custom cooling loop. If you're not going to be using a good amount of the features it offers, there's no reason to buy one. If you want a smaller, more affordable case that still has plenty of space and good thermals, the Cooler Master H500P Mesh is a good call.
      I do have a spec list for a build I'd like to put in a C700M though, and it's an absolute monster.
      CPU: Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX
      Mobo: ASRock X399 Taichi (not 100% sure yet)
      RAM: 64 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB (not sure on speed/latency)
      GPU: 2 x Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 64 (waterblocks)
      PSU: SeaSonic Prime Ultra 1300W Platinum
      Storage:
      - 1 x 500GB M.2 SSD
      - 2 x 1TB SSD
      - 2 x 5TB HDD
      2 cooling loops with a 420mm rad each, both with 6 fans (very bloody overkill, but whatevs :P) for a total of 9 fans

    I had a quick question for you. How did you solve the USB 3.0 header problem?
    (The case comes with four USB 3.0 ports in the front, which have two 19-pin cables. The trouble is, most motherboards only have ONE USB 3.0 header on them, including the one you used, I think. How did you manage that problem?)

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  4 роки тому

      Archibald Mirenopteryx Well my board had all the connection so I could use all of them. If something is missing you can always try to manage an internal USB3.0 ports on a PCIe card if your board doesn’t have.

    • @ArchTeryx00
      @ArchTeryx00 4 роки тому +1

      @@PCCrazyDario That's actually a really good suggestion. A lot of folks actually use a USB 2.0 --> USB 3.0 converter cable, but there are PCIe cards that give you two USB 3.0 headers, and that's the solution I chose. Great idea! Thank you!

    • @ArchTeryx00
      @ArchTeryx00 4 роки тому +1

      @@PCCrazyDario To follow up with this, I discovered that older versions of the case had a USB 3.0 AND a USB 2.0 header in the front, so everything fit perfect. For whatever reason, they replaced the USB 2.0 header with a 3.0 header, when most motherboards only have one 3.0 header! Most folks are using 2.0-->3.0 adapter cables and busting the extra ports down to 2.0, but I like your solution of a PCIe splitter far more.

    • @PCCrazyDario

      You have 8 slots in the case so the cards have to be two slot each so they can fit. The first card can have a radiator on the rear side and other three on front. That could fit, but you need to take measurements for the pipes so you could know if the length would be enough 😉

    • @deyoviC
      @deyoviC 3 роки тому +1

      @@PCCrazyDario Because when the liquid gets too hot it creates more pressure and it needs some room to "breathe'. If it's filled to the max it will eventually start releasing the pressure starting from the loosest point.
      It's similar like the coolant in cars. There's a reason why the "max" label is always lower than the actual capacity.
      Therefore, if the water tank is not filled to the max the liquid will have the necessary room to breathe and it won't create pressure elsewhere.

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  3 роки тому +1

      @@deyoviC Ok, fair point. But you do know that if you fill the loop immediately to the top (even though I leave the whole cap without water - approx. 1cm) that the air from the rest of the loop will through 24 hours get to the reservoir and lower the level of the water. In this situation, after 24 hours it got lowered by 2cm and after a week 1cm more. Also, even though I do agree with you on the liquid temperature, liquid temperatures don’t actually reach that high temperatures to create that kind of pressure. Otherwise, I think it would be safe for components. That is of course my piece of mind but do correct me if I am wrong since I didn’t have such a situation what you mentioned. :)

    1) Do you use 2x M/F rotatory extenders on the top radiator to make the 90 degree fitting long enough for tubing purposes?
    2) You seem to be using the T splitter from the "out" side of the pump. However it is somewhat hard to see what is inbetween that T splitter and the "out" Female fitting. Can you confirm that's a M/M rotatory extender there as well?

    Hi PcCrazy! Im very interested in this case, but i dont find information on certain clearances. Maybe you can help. Is it possible to use a 360mm RAD at the front without removing the DVD-Bracket? In this regard i also like to know if there is 385mm space along the top for an AIO while using the a DVD bay. I dont want to spend so much money on a case to make compromises.

      Ο Πλάτωνας είχε δίκιο Hi, well you can find on the Cooler Master official web site about C700M. So it states like this: radiator support - front: 120/140/240/280/360/420 (remove ODD). In that case, I think you only need to remove the ODD cage if you place a 420mm radiator. Hope this helps.

      @yosoy1loco 5 років тому +1

      @@PCCrazyDario Mhm i know this information, but i thought without the ODD-cage im not able to put a DVD-drive into the bay. Does that mean i can take the ODD-cage out while still using a DvD-Drive there? If that is true, it would help me out a lot.

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  5 років тому +1

      Ο Πλάτωνας είχε δίκιο Nope, you understood wrong. So you need the ODD cage to place the DVD drive. You can use the ODD cage with the radiator up to 360mm. Everything above that you can’t use the ODD cage which you need to place the DVD drive.

    • @yosoy1loco
      @yosoy1loco 5 років тому +1

      @@PCCrazyDario
      Thank you for that clarification! Yet im not sure that those manufacturers specifications are helpful. It only says: With ODD cage the 360mm works, the 420mm does not. They say nothing about the size in between and i cant imagine as they do not give the specific measurements. I even made screenshots during those videos, and measured the pixels with GIMP. It suggest that it may fit, but when spending 470$ on a case iw want to besure. I find it highly irritating that CoolerMaster does not provide all the specific measuments for such a big case an expensive product. You dont buy this for normal stuff, but bigstuff and modding.
      Just to be clear with what i mean- In every case you want these numbers:
      - distance from ATX-Spacers to cable management holes for hybrid E-ATX boards
      -distance from ATX-Spacers to case roof for thickness of radiators
      - distance from ATX-Spacers to PSU-shroud for modifications
      - distance between back of the case and ODD bracket.
      I think im gonna call them tomorrow, even though i know they wont be able to tell me on the phone, just to make them think about the fact, that if i spend premium money i want more than the standardized, reductive information i find for 150$ cases. It is really not helpfull at all to know that you can place 280mmm/360mm at the roof, especially since that does say nothing about the thickness.
      Nevertheless, thank you for your time!

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  5 років тому

      @@yosoy1loco Just to be clear, you are going to use 360 AIO? Am I right? Stupid me, but I just had to look at my build. If you place the AIO in front (360 that is) and you don't place anything on top, you can place an ODD cage normally. The silly thing is and what I can see that the bracket for the radiator and fans doesn't have to do anything with the ODD cage. The biggest concern is the top radiator and fans with the ODD cage.
      I understand everything what you wrote and yeah, even if that would be a very usefull information for such a huge and expensive case, not that many people are asking for this kind of information. But I totally agree with you. Hope now that this helps a bit more.
