This bag is very interesting. I really like the direction this company is going with innovations. Your videos keep getting better and better John. Keep em coming!!
Seeing the bag on you, it definitely looked like it was pulling away and would eventually become uncomfortable. Some interesting ideas but compromising in other areas.
Nice review! I wonder where they make the cuts to offer a price point like that. Not a fan of the modular style myself, but it looks like a cool pack . . . except for those shoulder straps. Stowables are always gonna come at a cost, unfortunately. But I guess if you're not planning to carry it for long, it's worth it. And YAY FOR BALLISTIC NYLON!!!
@@maicco333 I think we’re paying for a lot of marketing with certain brands, take CT for example. A fraction of the cost with same materials and components.
@@julianfrancofarinas4280 which ones specifically? The strap for the mods or the ones one the shoulder strap? Either way let me know and I’ll get you a definite answer later today!
For myself, I always find gatekeeper clips difficult to open. For that reason, I think it's not really practical stowing away the shoulder straps in the few seconds you have when you arrive at your plane seat before you start blocking other people trying to get to their seats. Sorry for the long dangling sentence.
If funny you mention, I was planning on making a UA-cam short here this week demonstrating how I do it in literally a second. I’m not sure if I do it the right way but it works for me. They can be a pain until you find a good method
The straps don't contour well due to they way they're mounted, it's a disappointing oversight in an otherwise interesting bag. And now that I realise it's from the same company as the Toshi sling, I'm a bit surprised since the sling seems very well considered.
@MrJed_s yeah me too! Anxious to see what they got coming to complement the Toshi. Especially since it was an intentional separation from the Reset system.

@@NightShift_EDC thank you!🙏🏽
Man never realized how much I would like a modular bag
@@IWTBFOY pretty versatile little bag.
Rework looks like they have some good things going. Although this is probably not a bag for me, I enjoyed the review.
@@embreys definitely a brand to keep an eye on!

@@britru3493 yeah very capable for normal load outs but packed to the brim with 25 ish pounds, definitely could’ve used more support.
Yep this was my main concern when I first saw this bag - weight and the carry system. Otherwise does look great and it’s well priced too!

@@UnPackD Good point regarding CT.
@@UnPackD But I wish CT would use some more/different fabrics--and give us some larger sizes!
@@maicco333 yeah they’ve done some but only special order group buys. They need to do a standard run, no group bs
Hi maicco, can you explain any issue or example with stowable shoulder strap that happen with you? Thankyou
Really been enjoying your channel. We see the grind.
@@cvbfvre 🫡 definitely been a journey, appreciate you 🤝
would you know what size are the gated g hooks?

@@UnPackD he shoulder straps, my kind sir
@ ok so they use 2 different sizes 1.5” at the top and 1” at the bottom of the straps. Soldier the late reply, it’s been a busy day lol

@@MrJed_s this came first, you can see the leap in design choices with the Toshi. Still enjoying the Toshi
