Gotta love living in the Midwest this time of year and this is just the start of it. We live with this weather each and every year. When you’ve dealt with it your entire life you become numb to it all. We have dealt with forecasts that are so far off so many times we no longer trust them. We trust our own eyes and seeing what the clouds are doing. Thats why you see all these videos of people from the Midwest going outside when the sirens start blaring.
Rule of thumb that anyone from the Midwest will tell you. If the sky turns green it’s time to head indoors.
Exactly!!! I live in Cental MO and we sit outside just to watch the storms. They have become so unpredictable and like you said forecasts don't always catch what we are actually hit with.
And if you’ve got a purple streak in the sky in March it’s always hail
Yea especially IL bc u could get all 4 seasons in one day Like it could be snowing in the morning then hot in the afternoon then rain In the evening

3:25 yea thats what they always say when we get hit. I wait until about 4pm and then i check my local news. Luckily im from OKC and Norman is only about 20 minutes away. Some of the best weather people in the country. But i still watch you and ryan hall lol

I'm watching the sky in kansas as we speak. And let me tell you... there sure is a lot, and I mean A LOT of air crafts in the sky today. Instead of seeding the clouds, they're shooting their load too close to the ground. It's basically raining "contrails" over here 🏇🤠
@@CosmicGuiltTrip approximate location? There are a couple of jetway or corridors and they are generally above 32k. You won't see contrails below that.
@@JSFGuy lawrence. And I'm being sarcastic when I say contrails. It's cloud seeding. I'm pretty sure most of the crafts were coming from the KU farm right outside of the city.
@JSFGuy better yet, I just looked at that area on Google maps. I'd say the kansas university field station armitage has something to do with it. It's located at the rockefeller prairie trailhead... can't make this stuff up

The storms have all been missing me lately in mid east Missouri just west of St. Louis but it looks like every one of these is heading my way. Its going to be a fun couple of days surrounded by the 4 huge, unhealthy maple trees around my house.😬

Southern Kansas actually got a little thundershower but the actual rain and storms stayed up north and east... I guess we'll take that 0.43" of rain!

This storm is so hectic, and major severe weather is likely today and tomorrow for the southern plains and the Midwest, and some of the biggest snow storms in the Rocky Mountains
I’m in Kansas City and it’s starting to look like it does when severe weather/tornados are on the horizon. The last EF4 hit my area in 2019 (i’ve been in several living in KS my whole life) but I hope not another one of those. I definitely think somewhere here is going to see some strong tornado action tonight. Praying everyone is safe and PLEASE BRING YOUR PETS INSIDE! If you wouldn’t stand in a hail/tornado storm, than what makes you think your pets want too? Common sense to ANY pet owner. Anyways, I’m ready for whatever comes…. Wouldn’t be the first time, and definitely won’t be the last. Be safe yall!

I live in kansas, and I can tell you why theres increased cloud cover.. I've never in my life seen as many "contrails" as i have today. I'm talking hundreds. Stay safe everyone, the aren't pulling any punches on this one.
