A Super Mario 64 Retrospective: Personalized

- Hey guys and welcome back to a new retrospective. The audio should be fixed for everyone. In this one I'm covering a very special game to me, Super Mario 64. I decided to divide it up in the sections of the castle, and cover my interpretation of "Every Copy of Super Mario 64 is Personalized". I hope you all enjoy, and thank you all so much for watching. Okay, so what I got from this video is... I was playing a pirated version of the game (on my DS). I started off playing as Yoshi and had to free Mario from behind a door with his symbol on it. In that same room, there were other doors that had the symbols of Luigi and Wario, implying I had to save them too. I never got to make it that far because I got frustrated by not being able to get the wing cap. I have no idea where I put this game, but if I find it I'll have to revisit.
Tall Tall Mountain you can longjump off the rolling log for the 6th star. You can also use the cannon to get the star in Snowmans Land.
I remember spending an all nighter trying to beat 30 star bowser. For most people who had the only one hit to beat him, for me his AI had gotten harder and required a second hit, depending on where you used the first one there was an open gap and only 3 more areas to use which made that more challenging at the time. The Snow Man's Land Star associated with defeating 3 Mini-Chill bullies called "Chilling with the Bullies" on a Platform right next to the Chill Bully was even harder as Mario would slide around on the ice after being hit by them.

Enjoyed the video, but not gonna lie "My mom enjoyed it on the N64" made my back hurt :P
As for special games, got a few, I remember when I mentioned to my mom that PS1s were only like 30 bucks at the used game place, and a few days later when I was going to bed I found a PS1 and a copy of FF9 in there. Spent a lot of summer nights trying to beat the final boss. Also one of the few games that almost made me cry, and managed to do it twice.
I will say she enjoyed and played it, but it was more of something her and my brother played. He’s about 8 years older than me if that helps 😂. But I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and if you like retrospectives I have some more too! And I'm glad you shared that, I've had similar experiences with games and I get that. It's cool to me how games can take us back to just a random time we were playing them. And while it may seem corny, I just think it's so interesting. Again thank you for sharing, and I'm glad you enjoyed.
