I 100% agree with this. It was the first step toward what Zelda can be in the future, and some people were dissapointed by Tears of the Kingdom. But I still think this game was a step in a new, good direction
That’s a good way to put it… it saved the franchise I believe.. at the same time totk was a game that wasn’t worth the wait(that’s just my opinion! The game isn’t bad). They what 6 year wait? 7? Only to have a choppy story and the only things really added was a shadow map(the depth) and a crafting mechanic. As I said the game isn’t bad, I played it and 100% it…but unlike botw I have zero urge to play totk again.
