Rightfully so. 26 headbutts in 14 rounds without any points taken from Holyfield and the most delicate warning or two he received and then they were never mentioned again.. Holyfield cut him over the eye with one headbutt and buckled Mike's knees and almost dropped him with another one within 40 seconds of each other. Boxing Queensberry rule book says it is 100% illegal to roll the top of your head over and drive forward with a step as the other fighter is coming in. Holyfield got a warning or two but never a warning or point taken away after that. Mike was begging for the ref to uphold the rules. When two referees in two separate fights don't look out for your safety when you were just cut by an illegal butt and almost knocked out by another one within 40 seconds of each other what is a man left to do? If you won't uphold the rulebook for Holyfields tuck and step headbutts then why should two nibbles matter? Holyfield knows what he did. Even his trainer said they noticed a tell in Mike's approach to cutting distance between fighters in training camp for the first fight so Holyfield knew when Mike was getting ready to come in. Props to him on that but they decided to use it to their advantage illegally with tuck and steps. Holyfield's trainer admitted this. He said they spent the entire camp learning timing for Holyfield to first tuck his head as he simultaneously stepped forward while lunging the top of his head down to Holyfields right, which is where Mike's face was expected to be. They were worried in the first fight because Holyfield struggled with it in training and they had no back up plan. But it worked and Holyfield perfected it for the 2nd fight. The headbutts landed much harder and much more damage was done due to them. So I do not blame Mike for saying F it and biting the Real Meal Holyfield. 26 headbutts is alot. 12 of them in the first fight which I think went 11 rounds and 14 headbutts in the 3 rounds they fought the 2nd match. If that is not unfair than what is?

I have never seen in my life a more violent boxer who is not afraid of anyone in the ring or outside it and is more technically and tactically proficient in his profession than Mike Tyson.
