Another great video, thank you. It's always a joy to fly from Inverness and this flight provides great connectivity to the rest of the world for us Highlanders! Hope you can continue to convert your clubcard points to airmiles for the foreseeable future as your flight reviews are always enjoyable!
Thanks for this video! I have a bad fear of flying but this year i'm wanting to travel more and have decided to start with this nice short trip. This has eased my mind a lot :)
Never flown KLM-Cityhopper, I might just have to look into it now. The only other airline post covid that i've been on that has freely given out Alcohol is BA CityFlyer which ironically also use the Embraer E-Jets, the plane must just have good vibes. Great video again mate. 😁
My company used to fly me from Inverness to Schiphol Airport on KLM every three weeks, always been a good flight. Though was shocked how much it actually cost.. hate saying this, I came home a couple of times rather drunk on that flight.. once could barely manage to show passport control my passport, they just waved me through... if you have a Seaman's Discharge Book which looks like a passport, you get to skip the UK passport control at Schiphol and just go through the EU section..was always handy. My only comment about KLM is the aircraft interior looked a bit tatty now and again..
Hell Tim. Thanks for the video. When calculating the flight cost you never mentioned that APD is not charged for INV departures. This airport is exempt from APD much to the annoyance of ABZ - check online and you'll see BBC has reported on this. One wonders how many KLM pax were transferring to other flights at Schiphol ? Clearly the APD saving will be greater when flying long-haul.
The reason I didn’t mention APD is because I completely forgot to! 🤣 It’s very sad, but I do occasionally spend time comparing long-haul flight prices starting at INV as opposed to other UK airports. Thanks so much for watching.
I was quite impressed that you get a sandwich on the flight, so many airlines even other legacy carriers, don't give you anything other than a bottle of water now! That said, the "cheese" paste they did apply looked very sorry for itself! Looking forward to my trip with them now, thanks for the review!
It was superior to anything I’ve had in economy on a BA flight for sure. I hope your trip goes smoothly. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on KLM Cityhopper.

Thats really kind of you to say. I’m glad you enjoy my ramblings! Of course, I’m always hoping INV gets a wee bit more connectivity.
Love KLM and I think I have some Virgin and Tesco points left, so will need to have a rummage and see if I can do something similar!
Always worth having a rummage. Cheap as chips!

That's so kind of you to say. I'm really touched my video has helped a little. Inverness-Amsterdam is a lovely way to start your adventures!

Cheers Dom. A very good economy product in my view. I look forward to getting your thoughts in the future. Thanks for watching.

Sounds like you had an interesting flight or two!
Flew KLM once, Birmingham-Amsterdam-Humberside (!) and thought they were very good
I couldn’t fault them. That seems like something of a circuitous route…
