Any tourists out there, I'd say do this instead of an expensive tour! What a great service :) And I'd always say a coach is a type of bus, so you certainly get away with it from my perspective. Cheers my man!
You're very kind. It's a fantastic service and one I'll definitely use again. I must say, as someone who drives the A9 a fair bit, it was lovely to be able to just look out the window.
@Timstravels01 I'm sad you get hassle! The Public Service Vehicles Accessibility Regulations 2000 regulation 2 “bus” means a public service vehicle designed and constructed for the carriage of both seated and standing passengers which is of category M2 or M3 (as defined in Annex II(A) to the 1970 Directive) and has a capacity exceeding 22 passengers, in addition to the driver; “coach” means a public service vehicle designed and constructed for the carriage of seated passengers only which is of category M2 or M3 (as defined in Annex II(A) to the 1970 Directive) and has a capacity exceeding 22 passengers, in addition to the driver;
It’s excellent value for money. I drive up and down the A9 a fair bit so it was nice to be able to enjoy more of the scenery than normal. Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words.
Thanks for the video, Tim. Seeing all the coaches running around (during this journey) makes one realise how the long-running rail dispute has helped the bus boys expand.
I have used them many times now since they come up to Inverness, absolutely superb service, from friendly and welcoming drivers, clean and comfortable coaches and of course the price.. I will continue to use them again. Having a low budget it has allowed me to travel much more and further afield.. a welcome addition and much needed competition for Inverness and the Highlands. Rumours they looking at doing Inverness to Aberdeen
I completely agree. I’ll be using them again that’s for sure. It’ll be interesting to see if they start an Aberdeen service. There is also talk of Ember coming to Inverness. We shall see.
Nice video and i reckon if you call your company Flix"BUS", then you think you are running busses! So i wouldn't worry about that coach thing! Looks great. I may well be using them next time I'm up your way 👍
I've used Flixbus in Slovenia, Poland and Hungary, they offer a great cheap service. The great thing is you can book the seat next to you for a lot cheaper too, that way you get 2 seats to yourself. Handy for a 6 hour journey if you are 6ft 5! Plus the app is superb.
Just came across this video today, very much enjoyed it, but then anything to do with Scotland, I always enjoy. Flixbus was certainly value for money and next time I come over to the UK, I’m tempted to try one of their journeys. Thank you Tim and you now have a new subscriber 😊😊
Thank you for watching, subscribing and for such kind words. I’m very fortunate to live in the Scottish Highlands, so much beautiful scenery to enjoy. I’d highly recommend FlixBus, a very cost effective way of travelling around Scotland.
Great video Tim. I just did Flixbus recently between Bristol and London: Really enjoyed. Doing Megabus between Inverness and Glasgow in a couple of weeks and looking forward to comparing the two
Great video. I'm traveling Birmingham to London at the end of July. I booked it a few months ago, and paid just £7.99 - an absolute bargain. However, being 6ft5, I wouldn't use Flixbus for more than a few hours. If I travel to Scotland (I live 5 miles from Gatwick), I'd definitely fly
Thanks for watching. I think that’s a fair comment for longer distance journeys, especially at 6ft 5! I’m tempted to try a long-distance coach trip but also a bit apprehensive.
wow t-shirt weather... can't believe the sun made it to the UK, finally... I can guarantee if you didn't book your seat the service would have been full, that's the luck I have every time 🤣🤣 You can't go wrong with a fare of £8 for that distance covered! Great, super smashing video as always Tim!

The technical legal definition of a coach is a BUS on which no standing is allowed :-) so all coaches are, indeed, buses :-)
@DougPaulley thanks for that. I've read some very irate sounding comments on YT when people refer to coaches as buses!
@Timstravels01 I'm sad you get hassle!

Steve, as I know you're all friendly, maybe do a Scott (planestrains&everything) vs Steve vs Tim challenge. That'd be epic
I was the driver! Great video glad you enjoyed your trip with us ❤️
It was fab. The driver was great! 😀
@@Timstravels01 glad you thought I did good! Thanks for the review we appreciate it! -Flixbus 💚
@LifeWithBrandonofficial credit where credit is due.
Not as good as the Aberdeen drivers :)
I'll need to take a trip from Aberdeen next!
It would be great if Flixbus ran from Aberdeen to Inverness.
Indeed. I would never say never.
That’s a nice run for a great price. And very brave doing that coach toilet tour (it was clean…most important).
Thanks for watching. I was amazed by the number of coaches running up and down the A9. I didn't think there was such demand, but clearly there is.

Thanks Johnny. You're right, the clue is in the name! I hope you'll be up this direction soon.

It's an excellent service. I was very impressed. I may need to try a longer journey next time.
Thank you this helped my girlfriend and I who are both neurodivergent to alleviate most of the travel anxiety ❤
That’s great to hear, thank you. I hope you can enjoy an anxiety free journey.
@@Timstravels01 just arriving in Inverness the bus ride was lovely :) thanks !
@louisekatie9648 fantastic! I hope the Highland weather is kind.

Nice one, can't beat those prices (but will they rise once customer levels increase to match the competition?) And certainly can't beat those views!
Love how your top matches the sky, understated genius.
I don’t like to draw attention to my genius, thanks for noticing.
Great video Tim. I just did Flixbus recently between Bristol and London: Really enjoyed. Doing Megabus between Inverness and Glasgow in a couple of weeks and looking forward to comparing the two
Thanks for that, I really appreciate it. I was very impressed with FlixBus so I suppose I need to try Megabus!

15:54 Scottish Citylink overtook FlixBus, cool😮).
I enjoyed that! Thanks for watching.
Great video Tim looks very comfortable
Thanks for watching. I was very impressed. I'd say in general I'd look to take the train but this experience has made me think twice for future trips.
Watching you from Kenya 🇰🇪

I photoshopped the blue sky. 🤣🤣🤣 you’re absolutely right, that price is incredible value. Thanks for watching mate, I really appreciate your support.
Love the music over the A9 , Tim its a Coach , NOT a bus 😂😂😂
Lesson learned! 😂😂😂
its called flixbus mate not flixcoach 😂
@just_some_guy_innit you'd be surprised how upset some people get about these things. 😂
Nice!
Thanks for watching!
Great video.
Minor error in the description, which says you did the trip in May 2023 not 2024
Oh thank you so much. I've changed that now.
You couldn't make it up.
I really do.
🤣
Flixbus coach😮
😁👍
Bus time is better than the train in this route...and cheaper.
10:29 10:48 Why am I hearing some Filipino-language dude?
I think he was on the phone for most of the journey.
